Don't do it for too long - ask God how long. It's a semi fasting diet. It will deplete you of nutrients long term. Most people get rather sick when they do vegan 9especially raw) long term. Ex vegan here - I nearly died eating whole foods plants only for 6 years/ They are telling lies about people glowing long term - most raw vegans look semi starved long term. The ones who look OK usually cheat with eggs on the quiet.

Have lots of fruits, and Romain, and celery, etc. Got my great 32oz jars w flip drink lids, straws, silicone glass cover protection, a juicer… Quality of life… yes… need this… I’m lookin’ pretty sad too…(besides feeling horrible) so a raw-juice-fast face-lift will be good. My first round of juicing, I had some emotional purging and a bad headache, but after, I felt better than I had at baseline. I felt very peaceful; for example, my spouse at the time had slept with someone else and I ran into her at her job. Typically fight or flight would’ve kicked in, but I was so chill. I just said to myself it is what it is. She was very visibly anxious but I was not anxious.

@@GillianBerry Definitely amazing as a vegan! I made the commitment 9 years ago this Friday and it remains the best thing I’ve ever done. No longer having the suffering of animals on my consciousness is very important to me. Keep in mind, I was living in Hollywood and going to the Hollywood farmers market on Ivar and coming home with a duffel bag full of organics which i then made into juices and smoothies and i was on cloud 9! I’m working on getting back to all of that now by buying a second Farmstand to double my home grown organic greens intake. I’m focused on going high raw now and moving back to Cali so i can have raised beds and potted fruit trees! My ultimate goal is an organic vegan homestead in Cali or Hawaii similar to what Fully Raw Kristina built for herself. I’d love to eat everything grown at home!

Incredible interview! Have watched both of you for long time now! I can relate 100%! I'm healing myself with God's help from lymphoma cancer. Don't know what kind or stage cause I'm not going to take treatments. My birthday is 1-11 and I have a Twin Flame that we go back 42 years. I've seen several thousands of synchronicities related to my TF. Every day several times a day I see Angel numbers. I've always been an empath and somewhat psychic. But I'm going full speed now on who I came to this earth to be. And when I heal I will share my story. I'm getting ready to start long juice feast.🙏❤😊 I also have always felt and been treated like an outcast including my family. I've been through major traumas alk my life and It really took its toll on someone who's very sensitive. But I have come to see it was meant to be so I can help others. Have great empathy for all.

Food can be so powerful . After eating cheeseburgers, fries, chocolate and baked goods I decided to try to go raw vegan overnight. By day 3 I had major dizziness, headaches, incredible amounts of joint pain, digestive upset, brain fog, random shooting pains through the middle of my head and through my foot. Just shows how detoxing off food “poisons” such as high fat processed starch and sugars is so intense. And this wasn’t even full raw it was about 90%. Detox is intense !!

I have experimented with many diets including fruit only, long term juice fasting (it's not real fasting but no solid foods) etc. and the raw vegan diet tended to elicit the best results in the outset, no question at all. But after about 3 months of a raw vegan diet, I started to regress to a previously decent state. Just prior to this I was full carnivore but it was ratio specific with 2/3 fat and 1/3 meat and about 4 oz of liver. I felt phenomenally on this diet but went away because my doctor said my cholesterol as high even though my triglycerides, BMI and resting glucose numbers were perfect according to mainstream numbers. I'm not sure if I should trust my gut, the way I feel or the medical's doctor's numbers. I welcome any feedback from anyone on this thread.

I love your chanel, Gillian . I am so confused now by watching the experts in Veganism. Do I follow the wise elders and their science/ like Dr. Gregor and Dr. Esselstyn ? They have years of double blind studies or do I go with what makes me feel good in the moment? I am seriously wanting to know he best route out of sickness. LOVE

Hi Autumn, I love Gillian’s channel and always enjoy the comments. I see that you are looking for guidance and I’d like to share my thoughts. The famous plant based docs speak in a way to reach the most people possible with what I would call a public health message, and their suggestions can take people from extreme physical sickness to a level of health they never imagined possible. People at that level of sickness can really benefit from a strict rules based approach. But when we’re only looking to authorities for answers we can miss our own inner wisdom which in my experience is the best guide regarding the right next steps one we learn how to trust it. I myself have been dealing with a very challenging health problem in my feet. I’m going to admit that I haven’t mastered eating only raw, but through this challenge I discovered that difficult sicknesses can have many different components, not only diet. A year and a half ago, I said to myself that the doctors didn’t know the cause, and I didn’t know, and that eating only plants didn’t seem to be enough by itself. So I decided that I would just start by healing something. Since then, I healed years of back pain, my digestion is better than in my whole life even since going vegan in 2016, and I’m also happy most of the time despite my challenges. Just last week I wanted to heal my restless legs at night and decided to make just one small change to my diet which solved that problem the very first night. Some things healed with food, some with certain precise physical exercises, some with paid therapies, and a lot just with what you might call spiritual techniques. My big point is that I can see you’re at the point of trying to determine if you should follow an expert or follow yourself. I’d like to propose that you check out my channel. I just posted my first online course there. It’s free. It’s in the playlist called How to Achieve Impossible Goals. I’m not trying to take away from Shane or Gillian but if you haven’t yet been able to find the right next step for yourself, I think I can help a lot and would love to do that. If you’d like more help than my free course we can work one on one to help you get to where you feel really confident making these important decisions on your own. Once you see this for yourself, you will also have the ability to know with certainty which experts to follow when it comes to any specific issue. Best wishes, Mark

I have replaced two meals with juice and/or raw and one meal whatever I want, which is usually American standard diet type food. I do fill my plate with half cooked or raw veggies/fruits. Prior to starting this, I did a water fast for 3 days. All the inflammation has diminished, even with just eating the American standard food 1x a day. I feel so much better. There is still work to do as I would like to successfully do a 30-90 day juice fast and then translation into mostly raw. Baby steps people…Baby steps. My knees have been hurting for over 5 years and now no pain whatsoever. Can you imagine if I ate all my food raw how I would feel?

The difference between plant-based eaters and ethical vegans is simple. An ethical vegan will never ever have even the tiniest bit of thought about cheat days. Just saying, its far more easier for ethical vegans to go raw vegan than it is for plant-based people.

I honestly don’t think having a steak some mashed potatoes and a mixed veg is going to destroy my health. I think breathing in the toxic fumes from cats etc prob does more harm than a reasonable meal. Now the extreme would be eating a steak 7 days a week. Eating sweets every single day. I’m not promoting sweets. I’m trying to make a point. Far as eating one steak a month stays in my digestive system for weeks or months is a far stretch. Do I believe mostly everything you and Jill are saying absolutely yes. I think it’s awesome to eat raw as much as you can. Far as wine beer pizza etc. if I have one glass of wine once a month having a dinner out with my wife is not a sin haha. It’s not Shane. Drinking a glass of wine 3 x a day 7 days a week. Prob a problem. If I can eat raw 75% of the time. And having a steak once a month is 100% is just fine. Let ppl enjoy that. America has litterally crippled us with the processed foods , cereals, you name it. 90% of a grocery story is not food. In my opinion. Don’t make ppl feel bad or guilty. No one needs to judge. I’m not saying either of you are at all. I love you guys. I’ve learned a lot. I’m in the process of doing dr brooke Goldner protocol. I have had arthritis since my 30s. Because of the work I did. I thank God that I have this opportunity to heal my body. Thanks guys keep up the great work and thank you very much for your videos!

Well so much for the “how can I help you today” comment when your thinking on a level that you can’t even talk to others who are not on your “higher money making” level. And how arrogant to think your value is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars just to allow someone to sit next to you! Are you serious?? I would nvr pay someone that kinda money to inflate their egos! Love is charity and charity is free! I’m surprised to find Shane giving away info on KZread for FREE! If he was to listen to his “mentors” he would only be helping those who make him rich.
