I really love the shot at 4:45 - beautiful glassy reflection off the right of the world trade center, and the boat neatly crossing the light patch in the hudson. I also like what you did with the warm edit.

Hello Omar. Thanks for sharing the pictures. I also went not too far from where you was in Hoboken and took some wonderful pictures with my Z7 back on October of 2020. I hand the Z 24-70 at the time and did two panoramas. The NYC skyline is an awesome sight. Keep safe.

Ohh so happy you got a Z7 too. Ive been a big fan of yours cause of the fuji stuff but i recently sold my xt4 and went with the Z7, no regrets so far and now that my fave channel is rocking a z7 too is double good news for me!

Amazing! I’m saving up to purchase a Z6II and I can definitely say that the comprehensive videos you’ve done on the Z system have helped to make me more sure of my decision. Loving the videos!

I just tried the a7IV, a7RIV, R6, GFX50Sll, Z6ll and the Z7ll few days ago when I was deciding what to buy. I loved the GFX50Sll the most but the GFX50Sll would just break my bank, especially with how expensive lenses are for that camera... The next camera I loved the most or I should say two cameras, were the Z6ll and Z7ll. Absolutely amazing, although I wish they had better Eye/Face AF, other than that I have zero complaints! I was constantly eyeballing the new a7IV because of the Eye/Face AF but I realized that I won't be needing it that much anyway, so I ended up with the Z7ll and am now waiting for it to arrive! Got a grip, two additional batteries, 35, 50 and 85 with it and I'm now debating whether or not to spend my money on the 70-200! :D! If I had went with the GFX50Sll, I would have money only for 1 lens and that's it...

In my opinion there is currently no real reason (SD card maybe) to go for a version 2. Get a used Z 6 I. It's a steal with the newest firmware. Spend the saved money for lenses.

This is around where I live, nothing more inspiring than waking up in the morning and see this on your way to work. Also the camera is amazing

Really enjoyed this video, and I felt your pain about the noisy traffic at the beginning! All the shots were cool, but those evening shots were killer, especially the wide-angle and panoramic shots.

Love the way you did the composition, and how they turned out... excellent work.

I've had my Z7 since Late December 2018, I think I'd started to take the image quality for granted - These shots are incredible and totally show off the richness the Z7 brings to an image. I tend to shoot landscapes, time for me to find a nice cityscape! Thanks for the inspiration Omar, it's a priceless gift, and you have given it freely 🙌🙌

Hey Omar, thank you for these insights. And especially thank you for showing your location on the map along with the brief journey into the history, it feels good to be heard :-) And it was entertaining and interesting at the same time.

I just got z7II, my z5 is on the market. I'm playing with it, I love it so far. I already owe 14-30, and 24-120, I'm waiting for 100-400 to complete my set. One day 50f1.8s, as well..

Just Wow....... These images are Amazing bro... Great job 👌👍 This video is quite inspiring. I too have the z6ii and the D810... but If I'm being honest... using the mirrorless system has spoiled me. I now find it hard to use the DSLR as my backup for higher resolution, and I've been weighing on whether to get the z7 or z7ii

First Z camera was the 7, added the 6II for the speed. Before that I got a Z50 because I wanted a cheaper camera for the motorcycle - and it has the same pixel density as the Z7. So much easier to walk around with, I get some good shots just because I have it in hand. Check for the latest firmware updates.

Very nice, but you need to get 24-120mm F4s for those things, amazing lens.

Good stuff playa hata! That deep dark blue sky looked great in contrast to the dim yellow lights in all the skyscraper windows.

I am absolutely in love with the files I get out of my Z7 and 24-105s Glass- Truly a stellar combination.

Great shots! I replaced the d810 by a z7 and couldn't be happier with the image quality, video capability, ergonomic and image sharpness. Also, eye focus for portraits works really well in the current firmware. Great ROI if purchased used.

Nice video, and great pictures! Good to see what all those pixels can be used for.

First high MP camera was the D810, then added the Z6 (gen 1) and fell in love with it, added a z7 (gen 1) and really enjoy all three now. The Z's do leave the D810 wanting sometimes, but what a great trilogy of cameras.

I enjoy this nikon content. Just more of the same thought process. One of my camera buddies shoots nikon, so it's interesting to see your point of view on it as well. I also am in jersey, I have a bunch of different fuji lenses than you do, if you ever want to try one out. Itd be neat to meet you. Keep up the great work, I rarely miss a video.

Weehawken!! Pretty views Omar...Love those shots looking across the river over the sports complex. Need to get back there with a camera. I've always wanted to get up on the hill overlooking the river on the NJ side. Some very cool buildings up there too. Never made it to Pier 13 last visit. We did make the walk down the river walk as far as the sports field/track. Most of our time was spent on the NYC side of the river that weekend. Love taking the ferry across at Point Royal. Hoping spring comes early this year so I can get over there in some warmer temps though! Have a great weekend. Looks like we're in for some white stuff... :-)

Hello, Omar. Impressive pictures. I like the boats in the composition, they add a lot. Maybe it was just me, or youtube pixelation, but I got a impression the sensor needed cleaning. I guess I saw some stains at 4:51 .Amazing shots, bro.

Hey Omar, I've been watching your videos for a while now. Super excited to start shooting with my XT20 after I traded in an Olympus EM5 (2012). That being said, I'd love to see a video of what you think of micro four thirds systems, specifically Olympus. You think you'll ever do that?

Thanks Omar. Useful video which helped me decide to buy a used Z7 last month as a 2nd camera for safari to pair with my Z6ii. Intended to sell it on after, but now I'm selling the Z6ii and keeping the Z7 !! -love the detail and cropping ability of the higher pixel sensor giving more composition flexibility. After previously owning a Z6 on older firmware and 'upgrading' to a Z6ii in early '21, then going back and seeing what firmware v3.4 did to the old Z6/7 cameras AF shows me I should have stuck with original Z6. The difference in pixel count between 6 and 7 is much more useful than the AF differences between versions I (v3.4) and II (v1.4) -in my opinion. Only significant downside to Z7 over Z6 is less high ISO headroom..

Love your NYC shoots. Those shots look great even on utube. So, next fall we see the vid with you holding up a used Z9?

Love my Nikon Z 7, too. Use it also for wildlife and macro beside my Z 6 I and II. Amazing dynamic range and resolution in lower ISO.

I just dropped the hammer on a Z7. with the new 3.40 firmware update i figured no need for the Z7ii. It will be here friday. I can't wait!!!
