When you grew up in the 90’s and 2000’s and after the Buffalo platform and skate shoe craze had died down, Puma came onto the scene. Worn them all, except this model that are in reality a football shoe. I didn’t own those, but I got the racer or boxing edition? The sole was completely flat and thin, and going up the back of the shoe. I don’t really like Puma because I find them to run very narrow, and I don’t even have particularly wide feet. Tho I do feel they use premium materials and are higher quality than Adidas and especially Nike.

damn i was thinking about the Avantis recently! However I just wish they released regular leather/mesh models, it's such an oldschool sneaker for me, that folded tongue was really unique back then.

I bought my first Puma sneakers (180 PRM) last month, in Sail, White & Grey colourway. Incidentally my first Puma since king boots as a kid! £58 discounted via Puma and actually completely blown away by the quality; genuinely up there with some of my NB. A little like Asics last year, I got a feeling Puma are going to kill it this year.
