@@andrewbako9494 Appreciate your comment dude! I can assure you right now.. They're fixing the puppets. They know the issues. A lot of the NPC/puppets are in the new "encounter system" Which is the new way to handle puppets. They'll get em fixed. Just a matter of time mate. Not the end of the world.

ONly reason why I gave up on this game, since the Devs show 0 intentions to ever remove or replace their current system, all they do is tell people tha they "work" on it, despite doing absolutely nothing. But hey how about some more DLCs you can buy and support then nothingness that happens.

I would like to see a chain reaction that could call in every puppet through hearing then render distance. The hoarde is the key, but if could see the potential hoarde before it's triggered... chefs kiss

@@MrImmortal709 They are working on it, which means they do work on it. This foliage update is something players have been asking/wanting for a long time already. Yes, I would've liked to see it done quicker, but I also like to see things updated properly, which they didn't always do beforehand. Now they seem to be taking care of things in a proper way, which might take longer and as a result you can see the difference between the images of the foliage. We see the before and after, they need to literally rework the whole shebang, test, adjust more, repeat. And don't forget they have to adjust this for the whole map. This counts for the puppet system too. Things like: "They do absolutely nothing / they have 0 intentions to remove/replace things just because YOU don't like it" does not help them to improve the system nor makes them consider to revert something. They have reverted the hunting minigame, it was not functional and they realized, but guess how you figure that out right? Put it in the game and let players use it and test it. Same counts for the horde system. You can either help them by playing and testing or if you don't like it, go play something else and check out the game whenever the update mentions: Puppets fixed. Which could still be this current system but improved, they develop this game and see this fit as how the game should be, what makes you think that your preference will totally change their own development view? (and yes, I also can't wait for puppet/horde functionality reworks, because they do need that)

Two things I'd like to see implemented into SCUM. 1 - When you take over a townhouse and you've put your flag down, locked the doors and boarded the windows up, then there needs to be a _one off mechanism_ where you can go to your flag and tell it to remove unwanted items in the house. When you've clicked that option, you go around your house *clicking on the items you want to KEEP.* When you've done that, you go back to the flag and click accept and all the junk you didn't want, has gone. 2 - The Ability to climb, climbable trees. Just dropped into game. There's a growl. A wolf or bear or even a boar is after you. Your only option is to outrun it if there's a nearby building, jump into a deep and wide enough river and swim or give up and die. But now you'll have the chance to climb a tree to safety. And if you're into PvP. Imagine having a fully ghillied squad mate up a tree telling you were other players are. But then he'd be an easy target, unless he's good at cammo.

Not sure about the flag idea as it would need to be redone. Maybe mods in the future? Changes to how flags are made.. Climbing trees is something that would be so cool! Great idea!

@@2modd4 Hense I said a climbable tree. And yes. I know bears climb trees, but adults are less inclined too because of their heavy weight. However. I've yet to see a wild boar or a wolf climb one. Oh! And if the tree is not that large in circumference, dinner plate size, and has no branches, then I've climbed plenty of them when I was a kid.

Uninstalled due to the puppets becoming broken. Ran a server for about a year. Not worth my time or money until it's working.

Pretty much how I feel. I want to really like this game but can't rn. Just waiting for 1.0 at this point.

Finally a juicy sneak peak again, I didn't expect that! The Foliage, snow area, LOD rework is looking very good. Also can't wait for the POI rework, seeing the same interriors for years is getting kinda meh... This is gonna be awesome!

1.0 is not as close as we think.

As long as they don't remove the crappy horde system that only triggers Puppet Spawns -after- you haven been in a POI for some time the game is simply not worth it for any PvE player.

Love scum, love the improvements they are making. Id like to see more things like the killbox where they emphasize that you are in a "game show". Maybe speakers set up across the map announcing Airdrops and New Events.

I love the game, but the main reason now for my not playing it and/or streaming it its the servers, i cant find one good enough

The game could be interesting again for thousands of players in a *matter of seconds*. Just set up a rollback before the horde system has made the game unplayable. You don't have to fix anything, just cut off the cancer instead of trying out new shaman magic. No matter if SCUM is updated to UNREAL v20 hyperrealistic then you will only be able to see the misery in much more detail....

So many games have ai running around. So when they add them they will prob be buggy for a other 5 years

hmm... nice... but what we all always really wanted was just some more food recipes (egg + oil + salt + pepper = omlett), making use of the 20 different types of mushrooms, and a working cooking as well as metabolic system... actually the recipes would have been enough. - we liked to play this game for survival. undofortunately in all these years they did not add more than 2 or 3 recipes for cooking... although there are sooo many items in the game.

They would make mad money if they just release this on console

Absolutely PSYCHED for the new and improved. Appreciated the fact that Matofski popped in and had a chat with us. Really looking forward to the coming update, I understand that fixes don't happen in the span of weeks and that there's a ton that needs to be done. People will always have their opinions still. I'm appreciative of the devs coming to streams, hearing us out and then there's the QnA to look forward to, too!

I must say. I play pax dei which also uses UE5 and these games look amazing. Especially when they are going to use 5.3 or higher..

Steadily waiting on the map to get expanded, or at least don't have items despawn so fast.

It's only a matter of time! I have faith this will be the best survival game we have ever seen.

Welp guess I better enjoy the game now while I can because looking at that there is zero chance my laptop runs the game once it starts looking like that. I know they are doing it because their "optimization" is continuing to improve, but devs always seem to go overboard lately adding way more to games than their optimization can compensate for and so performance for people on the low end always seems to tank. I know technology is always moving forward and sooner or later you either buy a better computer or get left in the dust but nothing sucks more than buying a game, enjoying it for awhile and then suddenly an update later on makes it practically unplayable. I hope I am wrong, I really hope they aren't biting off more than my laptop can chew but everytime I hear optimization and graphics upgrade in the same update I remember all the times that never went well for my bargain bin computers.

This thing whith Dev update's realy show how mutsh they are doing whith the game that we cant see =))

I dont believe in any pictures or trailers from Scum anymore. Why ? cause go and check the older pics , and ask yourself.

I have not played this game ever since the hord system and the zombie changes. it completely ruined the game for me since I only play singleplayer. Im waiting for the NPCs to come so that they can make the singleplayer experience better and less empty.

This is why I will always love having the opportunity to be part of an early access! game!

I love scum, ive played it almost 1000 hours but right now i keep waiting on big updates that will hopefuly bring something new to the game and fix up the issues with zombies. The issue for me is once you play Dayz and give it a chance to learn the basics, scum becomes almost boring in a way. I know the games have differences, in some ways Dayz is worse than Scum, in some it is much better. It also hugely depends on server rules and difficulty etc. of coarse but Dayz feels more like a true harsh and hard zombie apocalypse which i like, if you are sloppy or make 1 mistake it can cost you life even when you have all the gear and guns in the world. I just hope scum devs release a huge update soon because we have been waiting enough

On the server RK plays on, it's lower loot, higher puppet damage, and only random spawn if you die.

@@likebubba7073 Yeah i only play solo, i prefer PVE. i play on my own LAN server alone with no other players, it is very easy to set it up i managed to do it and i don’t know much of anything in PC’s xD So it doesn’t have a single player mode per say like in scum but at the same time it does if you create your server. Just do a quick search «how to play single player in dayz» or «how to create own server» and watch on yt👍 Its really nice, i had same issue at first i didnt want to play on other servers. Give it a chance, you got it

@@RayKit gunplay/movement is just subpar, ai still an absolute mess years later they pride their selves on their movement, but it's a floaty the aspects it's meant to hit, it doesn't hit, everything else sure it hits, like crafting etc all that additional stuff, but when it comes down to movement/combat it's garbo used to be a huge advocate for the game. but i can't get keep boarding the hope train :'D

i dont know man... in my opinion they have some much more important "construction sites" to work on.... this feels like putting in contend to keep players calm. distracting them from the real issues they have real trouble to fix :( dont get me wrong, im a fan of weathering and stuff... but they should concentrate on the main issues first. like the puppets AI and spawning system, and performance ofc... weather will be a flaw to performance i guess

Can they make the zombie act and reaction is like state of decay 2 or maybe better than that, I just always Laughing when see the puppet animation and act how they attack it's same like dayz very poor animation 😂

I really don't understand the direction of these developers. In its current state, especially as a PVE player, this game is just not playable. I don't understand what they're doing with dropships and all this other stuff when the puppets aren't right. This game has potential to be the absolute best at its class but they need to listen to the player base. They don't seem to be doing so.

That is nice but the game still just dying out with all the cheatings going on for example the walking though walls and some of these cheaters just eat bullets and do not die!!! this is coming from a group of players that dedicate on fighting the cheater squads like the chines day and night 20h a day for over a year now on official servers. you should see how bad the cheatings has gotten and it has not gotten any better it just worse and they just run players off the game that a big faq. p.s. knight kingdom was good times!
