This Is The TRUTH About Owning A Bugatti
Carl Hartley is the co-owner and director of the Tom Hartley supercar dealership, which since 1973 has blazed a trail in the world of aspirational automobile ownership.
Carl has been an integral part of the business since the age of 12 years old when he left primary school in order to focus his life upon the family brand, and in this episode, he talks candidly to Steven about where he finds the extraordinary drive that has catapulted him to the pinnacle of business success, why the luxury market has thrived even during economic downturns, and how he and his family have turned their name into one of the mightiest brands in the world.

"bugatti's average customers own 32 cars" People who own 32 cars, at least, high quality luxary cars, are not caring about the costs of repairs.

When you have 32 cars, (plus 2 boats and a plane) you sure as hell do care about costs. There's not a point when they don't care. They may not stress or lose sleep over it, but they care. You don't get to be wealthy by not caring where you money goes.

No, they are not. They sell their cars even before they officialy introduce them to the public. So they would sell even more if they actually made them, but they dont make them, they only make a set of the cars and thats it. Thats how they maintain value even when the cars get old. Its very a niche product.

@@scafaro8128 Same as Rolex charges their service like a small car and all they change is one gasket and put literally 2 drops of oil in it... Thats how the thing works, it wouldnt be the best if they charged 20 dollars for service because a 20 dollar service isnt something that portrais the brand and the customers want that to. They want to say yeah the service was a grand for the watch and 20k for the car. Thats why they bought it in the first place

@@emarchelo not all. Paganis, for example, the mechanics are reliable, but the electronics fail a lot and the leather straps on the hood stretch in the sun and the doors then don't close correctly. Koenigsegg, when the engine doesn't fail, they have a problem with the coolant tank and it starts to put the coolant out. As for Bugatti, having all the engineering support from the entire VW group, mechanical failures are almost none and the electronics are top of the line and tested. What’s not being mentioned is that Bugatti is like a small jet to maintain for the same reason people don’t want planes falling out the sky.
A Buggati and a Mille watch. This Guy has victimized himself.
A lot of high-end manufacturers ruin it for customers with their 'subscription' model of 'a service'.
"Bugatti is ripping off its customers" We poor people are honestly exhausting!!! Of course Bugatti owners know they are being ripped off and that is exactly how they want it. Guys, if Bugatti was to lower their prices and be reasonable, these multimillionaires and billionaires with obscene amounts of wealth would immediately stop buying a Bugatti because would it would no longer be an EXCLUSIVE brand. A brand like Bugatti does not exist because they crazy or mad... Bugatti exist because there is a market that it serves and that is how that market NEEDS to be served, expensively. The problem here is not brands like Bugatti, but 1 person who can afford 32 cars, 2 private jets, 2 superyachts and 10 mansions on every continent. I am talking about crass and grotesque greed while the average Londoner cannot afford a 1 bedroom apartment in London.
He's correct, if the cars were reasonable to service, they would sell more cars for higher prices. They're not that nice to justify the service and repairs.
ℹ rather get a Porsche and a Lamborghini and a house and a boat 🛥️ for the same price 😂.
There are no words to express how high the mileage would be on a Bugatti I’d own. I would by it to use it, I could never coddle a care no matter how expensive it is. If I can afford it(literally a billionaire), I’ll spend on it.
