Dont be afraid to talk with locals in Turkey. I rode a bicycle thru their beautiful clean country. Every time...people were very friendly and helpful. Even had a fellow bicyclist buy me lunch and rode with me to his local bike dealer / shop for a gear alignment problem i was having. Enjoy you 2...again with the laughs Mitch.

So with Turkish tea the small top pot starts with a little cold water soaking the tea leaves while the large bottom pot comes to a boil. Then you add half of the boiling water from the large pot into the small one before putting them both back on the burner. Leave for a good 10 mins for the tea to brew with the large pot simmering to keep the tea in the small one hot. You should end up with a strong black tea which many people put sugar in.

I love the Turkish people and culture, I love that you are experiencing it now, the further east you go, the better it gets ;)
