That is a real nice Compressor 🤩
Lol, what a great way to describe compression! Really loved the tone you were getting with the Les Paul, and the lick you played was awesome too! 🤘
I like it I think it will also work great on bass, when can we order it on Thomann?? It's a different taste to have beside my Cali 76 bass.

It's a great sounding pedal and it most definitely works with bass. You'll find a gear link in the description box, that brings you to the Airchild's product page. Cheers //Kris
I was shocked to find at 4:48 that Gibson also makes a Silver Sky (in gold no less...) 🙂 But jokes aside, nice demo! Love the neve-style knobs too

Haha, it's the biggest news of the day, the new Mayer signature gold top single-cut. 😆 Sorry for the typo in the video, it slept through somehow. Cheers //Kris
Very nice! Would it work as well for bass?

Ohh absolutely. It's literally a studio compressor (tone enhancer) that works for every instrument. It just needs instrument or line level signal that's all. Cheers //Kris
4:50 A golden SilverSky and from Gibson 😂 But interesting pedal.

Yeah, it's the new John Mayer signature gold top. 🤣 No. Sorry, that typo slept through... //Kris
Show us this pedal with an acoustic guitar guys!
It's a brever?

It’s not the opposite of reverb at all? Weird…

It really *is* the opposite of reverb, in the same sense that cow milk is the exact opposite of an airplane.

To explain Chris' description (the designer of the pedal, sitting on the right), a reverb puts your guitar further back in the mix - by creating space and by washing the tones together. This type of compressor does the opposite and brings it way to the front. The notes hit more and the tone is more lively. If you ever watched an engineer doing a mix in a studio, you have experienced this. It's fascinating stuff. //Kris
Dude on the right is realistic. Dude on the left loves it when you hype up the ‘Fairchild connection’. Check out the facials. lol
Sugar up ya sound.
That pedal makes no sense as an electric Guitar pedal - the Fairchild compressors were used for finished tracks. They were used for mastering tracks. Not just Guitars. They would take a finished track and use the compressor to fit the track into a song. fit the track into a space in the field of a song. The Fairchilds were recording studio tools. The Beatles never used compressors live. The compressors were used to record them in the studio.
