I never would have gotten the Lisa if i hadnt seen this video(the day you dropped it). For real thank you. After all this time I'm amazed are not more testimonials about how special this plugin is. It's a absolute mastering gem, and not only that but it's helped me to train my ears and also to understand dynamic and multiband processing much better.

I scooped Lisa up for $29 because of this video. Perfect timing for the sale. I have to say this has been one of the best purchases in a while, it's simple enough for a beginner to get a good sound and it's complex enough for the seasoned professional to get amazing things out of it. Thanks!

I've become a big fan of this plugin while mastering, of course, but on some individual tracks and busses as well. I totally agree that I haven't been able to get the same results with other dynamic eqs. I am finding it to be it's own thing. And as a big fan of opto-compression, having ultra-responsive and extremely versatile opto-compression on multiple bands is incredible. Really appreciate your explanation, and as always, your enthusiasm!

Ive been using this since the day it came out, and there truly is some black magic going on with this plugin - anybody thats been doing this for a long time will know how difficult it is to effectively get rid of subsonic information below 25hz. The "Lo Cut" filter on this plugin does it unbelievably well, just watch it through a detailed digital RTA to see the effect if your system cant represent the audible change clearly enough, but tbh the way it clears up everything is just wow.... The rest of what it does is incredible as well, and it is my go to mixbus EQ in the box now. Extremely impressive VST. Cheers for the video!

Firstly, dynamic EQ is THE SHIT! I have been using Dolby SR noise reduction technology as a dynamic eq for 30 years. Once I discovered it there was no going back and I can’t even waste my time anymore with traditional EQ. The hardware just got better and better but once I was working fulltime in the box, the improvement in usability of plugins became obvious. I’m trying to think of any traditional non-dynamic EQ that I use but I actually can’t. Dynamics and equalization were always meant to work together. If you think about it, that’s the way musicians play their instruments. We don’t do one or the other but always both simultaneously. The bottom line is that dynamic EQ is LESS work for more result. I can get behind that anyday.

Since Cubase 12 has some great new features & it's dongle free as well, Cubase is very similar to the popular Pro Tool's, Sane as Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio. I really appreciate you taking the time showing this plugin, it is indeed the most complex EQ I've tried so far, I love it! and I'm working with it mostly on M/S, not that I've played with it a whole lot, but so far I'm enjoying a lot how it helps me open up my mixes (1 so far hahaha), it adds up to Bx mono maker and stereo enhancer, I'm not abusing it yet, it is still overwhelming, a whole beast to tame!

I tried Lisa a few days ago when released. What a mistake! Purchased it two hours later and now I must admit it's my fault if something doesn't sound perfect 🤣 I use Soma too, it brings mixes to life but Lisa goes one step further, it's not just an EQ. At this level I have some Acustica Audio plugins too, really top software in my opinion when it comes to recreating beloved gear's sound, and Lisa is now on my top list too. They did a good job, I guess it will be hard to see something better until technology goes one step beyond and susprises us again with new things that today we can just imagine. Superb, Lisa. Hey Federico, feel free to skip any of the videos you’re not interested in. I am extremely interested in plugins, mixing and producing is what I do for a living so I really enjoy checking what’s new. I never tell anyone to “buy a plugin” - I cherry pick the plugins I show very carefully and as you can see, in this case, I don’t even have a link to the plugin so that you can purchase it or even an affiliate link. So if it’s ok, this is my passion and I’ll keep doing it so I hope it doesn’t annoy you too much to skip a video or two sometimes. :)

Gui is horrible, can hardly read anything on my screen, anyway way too many knobs on one plugin, no fun at all, so useless for me. I tried some presets, some worked nicely, but such a bad gui simply is a no go. Also pretty high on cpu. Did I hear anything about these two important things in your video?!

I agree with you that the plugin looks complicated- and I admit that I have a lot of experience with hardware and plugins like that so I can find my way around it even if it looks a bit quirky. You are right. CPU is pretty reasonable on my system (i9, Wiindows). What computer are you running this on?

@@DomSigalas i7 Win. I have 7 PA plugins, they are all not heavy on cpu. I mean there are for example old free VSTi synths, some older than 10 years with lots of knobs, too, and you can read everything clearly. Not sure why some PA guis are sloppy, it is similar with PA Bettermaker. Maybe PA thinks, if you want it better, buy the real thing , I don't know, gui simply is bad

this guy is a hack. It sickens me that companies fall for the YT influencer BS instead of have a knowledgeable audio professional demonstrate their product. Typical YT newbs don't know the difference but Plugin Alliance should definitely know better.

Hey Joely. Are 20 years of experience working in professional studios not good enough for you? How about mixing and mastering daily full-time? I am not a "KZreadr", I am making my living out of producing, composing, mixing and mastering. Did you even watch the video? How can you diminish someone's knowledge like that? Just because I wear a hoodie and I am not condescending? I would also like to see people do their research before accusing someone of being a hack or being a mere YT influencer. Oh, and PA didn't hire me or pay me to make this video. Just to clear things a bit too.
