LO and BS are unquestionably the 2nd and 3rd best sets of SWSH. I would rather pay the extra £40 and but a BS booster box from PC than ST. Surely there is slightly more downside risk but the upside is much bigger imo. The only charizard alt art (which is being slept on) and the eeveelution trainer gallery. That set is fire

I have BS and LO aswell. And i bought Paradigm Trigger instead off ST. Can get them for a good price aswell and the lugia is worth more.

Fusion is 2nd best I've been saying it since '22 Top 5 chase cards blow every other set outside Evolving Skies out of the water

Great point on minimizing risk by buying the lower priced sets that have greater opportunity for growth. ST will likely do what all of the older SWSH sets have done

Love these videos, great content…I definitely think Silver Tempest is still at the most reasonably priced so far, even with a reprint once that’s gone/sold it will go back up anyway unless it’s a massive one and it takes a while

This has got to be inflated hype, some sets such as lost origin have not been out for longer than a year and are double their price, it is thanks to videos like these that the booster box prices go up and everyone apart from scalpers and resellers do not gain anything from this

it certainly contributes to the booster box prices that people cover it. however it is impossible to envisage a world nowadays where people don’t. social media is precisely the reason why Pokemon TCG has had a revival in interest in the past decade, obviously there are some consequences to it that people should be aware of and maybe i need to make that clearer in my videos (you’ve probably just inspired my next video title now). the one thing i would say to people is to buy with caution which is exactly why Silver Tempest is my top pick - because it’s the cheapest. either way, in my opinion no one can complain about these sets being out of stock. they’ve been out for years and people have had so long to pick them up, so if they are now unable to then i can only be of the opinion that they never wanted it that bad anyways. so i’m not sure that people lose in the way you described in your last sentence. either way, i appreciate the comment

I didn’t know fusion strike booster boxes were still available in UK. Pokemon is really fucking with us.
