This is the Art of Volleyball Team Japan !!! The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association. Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.[1] Japan won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, followed by silver at Mexico 1968 and a gold at Munich 1972. The years after this have been less successful. Japan missed three successive Olympic Games before returning at Beijing 2008, where they failed to win a match. Japan then failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games and also missed Rio 2016 after finishing seventh at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo.
They also failed to qualify for the 2014 FIVB World Championship the first edition they had missed in 54 years. They had previously won FIVB World Championship bronze medals in 1970 and 1974. Japan silver medalists at the 1969 and 1977 World Cup. Japan has been less successful in the World League era. The team has won the Asian Championships nine times and the Asian Games eight times.
In August 2021, at 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan team advanced to the Quarterfinals round and eventually finished at seventh place, the highest rank since 29 years.

In the last 5 years, the japan volleyball team really packed with talented players such as yuki ishikawa, yuji nishida, ran takahashi etc...their style of play is just so fascinating

Fukuzawa is really one of the smartest players Japan ever had and you can see how much he influenced Ishikawa's play style now. Great team 👏👏👏

That hit at 1:22 is absolutely incredible. The fact he managed to hit in that tiny seam without even touching the block is nothing short of insane. I was confused as to where that ball even went, I paused the video at the point of contact and it didn't even look like a ball could fit through the gap. I had to play the video frame by frame to see the ball thread the needle and I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it in slow motion.
I have always root for japan team.they have the strongest defense and smart offence. So proud of them. Hope they win the world champion . Their players are getting taller and stronger. Proud being asian watching them all the time.👍💜💪😎
They have reached this level not by the adventage of height but by their talents, hard working, skills, and teamwork. That makes them one of the most interesting teams🤗
I love when Ishikawa does that, it’s honestly the perfect set up
I became a fan of them since 2019 until now it's still fascinating to see them play every year 😩❤️
Japan's technique and accuracy to match up the height and power of other teams is what makes them fascinating to watch

As it has been for many years. Japan has gotten bigger and better, and so has every other team. Japan may be the most fun to watch, although I loved France in the last Olympics.
The game of volleyball is such a beautiful game.
For Indians, Japan Team is like RCM of Volleyball. Everyone loves it.🙂
