Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, Ishikawa Yūki, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture.
Ishikawa is the first volleyball player to have a wax figure in Japan.[1] Currently, his wax figure is displayed at Madame Tussauds Tokyo.[2]
As of April 2021, Ishikawa is the captain of the Japan men's national volleyball team, and plays as an outside hitter. He currently plays in the Italian Volleyball League (7th consecutive seasons) for Power Volley Milano.

Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese male volleyball player. Currently, he plays for Volley Callipo in Italian Volleyball League.
Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT's Starting 6, as well as Japan men's national volleyball team. Nishida was also led the team finishing 7th place after 29 years, in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
He is one of the youngest players in the 2018 roster of the Japan men's national volleyball team and FIVB cup Final. He made his first international performance with the Japanese national team in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League. In June 2018, he played a pivotal role in securing Japan's first win in 11 years against Italy where he collected 24 points from 21 spikes and 3 aces. In September 2018, in a match against Argentina in 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, Nishida became the youngest player ever to score 30 points in a match. In June 2019, Nishida broke serving records in the VNL history after hitting 7 aces in a single game during a match against Bulgaria

Ishikawa is an all-around player. An effective and dependable player anywhere on the court, that's why he is one of the best and a great captain. Nishida, on the other hand, has that great power in his spikes and he jumps really high. Anyway, they're both great and both key players on any team.

People keeps saying that Ishikawa is good and all. But have you guys even watch the games of Milano? He gets block a lot and error prone in the reception. Am I the only one seeing this? Or people just turning a blind eye? Sorry.

@@jaimesantos1170 Ishikawa performed really well last season. This season he's been a shadow of his former self. People will of course ignore this because he's their darling, the same for Nishida. Back in Atanasijevic's early days in Perugia, I've heard him getting fumed by fans for 'not performing well' while he did way better than these two are currently doing.

@@synlerak4302 you said it yourself it’s last season. And it’s not like he was the mvp last year. Patry was the one who carried Milano. I just find it weird that people are neglecting the people who are actually giving the win to Milano. First jaeschke and Chinenyeze (Jaeschke top scored that game and chinenyeze was the mvp) and now Patry. I wouldn’t mind it actually if ishikawa is constantly delivering. But no. He’s 3rd or 4th in points for games and he is the most error prone in Milano. Check the stats.

@@jaimesantos1170 My guess is most people in this comment section are really just fans of the guy. They see a highlight reel of his and give it the channel the view/thumbs up/follow and sub. That's mostly the reason these players get pushed onto youtube reels since they're the names that get the most clicks. Don't get me wrong credit should go where credit is due, but this i probably the wrong forum for it to happen.

I believe that Ishikawa is a dependable player who clearly has a lot of experience but you can't deny that whether he is in the front or the back nishida is a point scoring machine who has an incredible jump as well a killer serve

石川選手今シーズンはあまりこれまで調子良くなかったのでちょっと心配でした。先の試合では決定率が20%台で総得点も今のところ33位と低いんです。でもこれをきっかけに調子が上がって来るでしょう。

the brazilian trio wasn't doing well, and the setter making terrible decisions wasn't helping, Nishida kept pushing Vibo but still lost, some people were even saying that Vibo valentia is "Nishida +5" type of team lmao

It is just wonderful seeing these two great players competing to each other. Both are amazing. Yuki Ishikawa is unique all around the field and is so reliable in all aspects. Yuji Nishida is great with his spikes. However, he is magnificent with those. That's the reason why the Japanese team has the best players.

Ishikawa Yuki and Yuji Nishida Italian Superliga | Milano vs Tonno Callipo faced each other for the first time in Bolleyball. Callipo's team lost to Milan but Yuji scored 16 while Yuki 10 . Without a doubt, Nishida is a strong player on the team.

Vibo should change his setter, idk but it seems like he hasn't been able to use Douglas and Nishida efficiently, most of those sets are low :/

yep and he needs to stop being so aggressive on blocking and set to the better option sometimes instead of just setting up where there are already 2 blockers.

Wow, how can you say that, japan volleyball IS NOT NISHIDA, Volleyball is a team sport, you can't win with ONE player, you need a strong team, the primary and the bench players, if you want to highlights your mighty nishida, change him to individual sports when he is the ONLY player!!!

Nishida is a scoring machine because he is an opposite and being opposite his MAIN responsibility is to score points thru attack or block, think first before you make a comment!
