Issue is that the US Airforce is being forced to buy it and foreign customers are only in the Middle East. None whatsoever in Europe as Nato members have their own solutions such as Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen

No one buys the gripen or probably because it’s not battlefield tested unlike the typhoon which won’t be built much longer so something tells me the US will get some f15 sells in Europe

@@BradHudgins-kl8pz Typhoons are continuing in production as the Block 1 ones are retired and replaced. Several European and Middle East countries are in negotiations for Typhoon and Rafale. The F15 needs runways minimum 2400metres long which makes it useless for front line Nato states who need short runway temporary airstrip capable planes like the Grippen , Raphale and Typhoon. Grippen are made by non Nato Sweden which undermined sales in Nato Europe , but that is changing with Swedish entry. The only F 15 in Europe are US AirForce ones based in England. Also the F15 is the most expensive aircraft of them all with no EU content, unlike the F35. The runway problem also applies to the F16 with its hoovering air intake, delicate undercarriage and need for at least 2300metres of clean, smooth runway. The joke in Poland is that to stop F16 flying, all Putin needs is to have his little green men from Russian Specnaz dump 2 truckloads of gravel on each runway.

F 15 is the baddest the sexiest looking motherf..ker in the sky. I used to not like how it looks but the more i see it the badder it gets.
