I labbed Marvin for a solid like 10h at current state. You can jab 1 into down special, while the flag is on cooldown. You can follow this up with up air or tilt, because the shots are seeking. Another combo which is close to true, if you hit neutral normal in any state, you can follow this up with nair and sair and button afterwards. From there on, you need to get some reads or just disengage. Hope this can help you. Source will soon be uploaded on my channel.

I think it has to do with my third perk slot!

My settings are actually just default, only difference is I bind the “i” key to do “down attacks” this lets me perform down airs without fast falling
