The amazing thing about squash players is not only that they play the sport for an hour or so at top output, but they do it again the next day… insane.

Love watching them play. Such a delight to watch
Diego is looking unbeatable! Incredible control and court movement.
Love these 2 play. They seem to respect each other.

TOC one of the most iconic locations. The crowd is great, and the location feels like something out of street fighter with the commuters in the background.
So pleased Elias beat Coll. Fully deserved his win he’s a superb player.

Jonathan has been coaching Elias since 2011. His conditioning has improved even more; makes it look easy, as do all great athletes.
Elias must have put in some real hard work in over the last year, with Jonathon power in his corner he seems fitter and a stronger than previously and has a great variation of shots which will trouble anyone, well done on your win Diego keep up the hard work I love watching you play
It's incredible how good a shot has to be to beat Elias's racquet
Saludos Elias, desde Trujillo, Perú.
Good highlights. Thank you.
Great squash. Some amazing playing from both and showing respect for each other at the end. No screaming, shouting, face pulling, blocking, running up the front wall just concentrating on playing the game. Big fan of both of these men. Good match :)

Yes, and Asal could learn so much from watching!
My fav chaps ! Pure Quality
Desde Argentina vamos Diego vamos.
What a great player ❤
Pure class!
Diego is a superb athlete. And he's playing a beautiful game of squash. Drop lob, steady drive and the finishes. He's very good. And he's being guided by one of the greats. Beating Coll in 3 is a very, very good result. Diego should go all the way. And he's a fair player. None of the Asal crap.
Really happy for Diego to win the match and the tournament even tho I like both players!! Well-deserved ❤️
Unreal squash
Vamos DIEGO!
Grande, Elias. Felicitaciones desde Trujillo
Why isn't this sport in the Olympics? Extreme endurance is required compared to a lot of other sports

Been put forward a couple of times, lost out to Golf first, then BMX , and a last attempt did not even make it to the shortlist, even though pole dancing did...

The same goes for hurling. The common denominator is that it does not have a lot of exposure and has limited facilities in a very limited number of countries? Maybe.
Genius game ❤
Felicitaciones a Diego, vale un Perú!
Great Stuff from a gentel guy and great player
Well done Diego, go all the way, here's to you.
GRANDE COMPEON, VIVA EL EL PERÚ CJO!!!!!!
Coll had his chances. Short game just not working for him. Would love to know how his team break down what went wrong with his game plan or what he plans to work on... He has hit the bit 30 now. Time to start working on more deception and shot making perhaps. He is going to struggle in attrition wars against younger planers.

I thought the same, he had chances, but couldn’t find a winner.
The man was running that court!
Noticed JP in the crowd, and noticed Elias game and technique looks very similar. Not a bad player to emulate.

Elias v3 💪💪💪
Elias deserves the title of this tournament as a dog deserves doghouse! :D
In hindsight, given the relatively straight forward victory of Elias over Shorbagy, this match was the final.
6:33 was that not two bounces from Coll? It would have given Elias two game balls to go 2-0 up. Great match!

he got the frame under it
Elias, go all the way!!!
Honestly only Asal can go toe to toe and win against this peak Elias, they both are going to be battling it out for couple of years, Mo. Shorbagy can always cause an upset if his beast mode get awakened at the right time but still these guys are way too young and talented to be tamed, Farag in this prime form does pose a threat but other than that, it’s Elias and Asal for a while.
A shame psa posted who is in the final before i found this video!

Unfortunately, his encounters with Asal suggest otherwise. He still needs to come up with a strategy to consistently defeat one of the most despised players on the circuit.

@@martincollins6632 Just because you have a number 1 next to your name doesn't make you the best player. Asal is a total twat, he is dangerous, is disrespectful, and a very bad image for the sport and the youngsters. All this contributes to him not being the best player. Coll, Elias, etc are much better players, always will be, no matter the number.

Coll just seems so passive, relying on his accuracy and athleticism to win games. But I think people have caught up he can't do that anymore.

The refereeing in this match and Rodriguez vs El Shorbagy was outrageous. Get some Egyptian or British referees, especially for these tournaments.
Peruvian Puma predictably pummels poorly-prepared Paul.
I guess you guys only show Asal getting bad calls
So break dancing made the Olympics, but squash didn’t?
Playing Coll is like chewing undercooked octopus… tedious.
