Seeing the pole that causes the dune buggy/sand rail to turn over was an accidental glimpse into the world of Hollywood magic😂. It is actually the way stunt companies rig cars to roll on cue. A charge blows a length of pole downward on que propelling the vehicle over. The pole is obvious in Raiders of the Lost Ark when Indy shoots the driver of a truck in an Arab market. Watch it. Points for me!

So, Richard Lynch's appearance is what lends to him being typecast as a villain. The way he got his look is insane, however. He set himself on fire during an LSD trip in the 1960s and had to undergo reconstructive surgery.

Most of the swearing was censored on the Parole Violators DVD as well. I think all of Patrick G. Donahue’s movies (including this one) should get a proper Blu-ray release so we can finally watch the original uncut and uncensored versions. Why on Earth would you censor a movie for DVD release?

My guess is that this was a TV edit and it was the only copy available to transfer to DVD. I once bought a previously viewed copy of an R rated movie at Blockbuster, but it was actually the TV edit. Very weird.

I just realized who Sean Donahue looks like! He’s the action star version of Todd Howard from Bethesda Games Studio! After his straight to video action days he went into game development! All those kicks to the head gave us Skyrim and Starfield! Lol

I used to live next door to Frank Stallone in Clearwater FL. I’ll never forget him burying his german shepherd in his back yard drunk…..the dog was laying out there by a hole that only made it to about 6” before he gave up and went in and passed out. He also rode our 3 wheeler and pissed off all the blue hairs in the cul-de-sac by doing donuts and popping wheelies showing off to us 10 year olds lol. He was cool though.

@@arthurstraub2845 Really? The only list I could find of Karate Tiger movies, on letterboxd, says Karate Tiger 6 is Kickboxer 3: The Art of War. I suppose there must be two Karate Tiger 6s. There's also another film called King of the Kickboxers 2, American Shaolin. So Fighting Spirit has three names, and two of them are shared with other movies.

Frank Stallone had a movie career because of B-movie producers who wanted to put the name Stallone on the posters.

This movie had all the tools to be a "so bad movie, that its actually good!" but they somehow made it so mundane, aside from a moment or two.

The original version of Ground Rules has a sex scene and some nudity which is edited out on the DVD. Although I think it’s mostly just shots of Sean Donahue’s bare ass. This was the only version of the movie I could find on DVD, sorry.
