It's an amazing cover of Black Sabbath's Heaven & Hell. This was when Ronnie James Dio joined the band as the new vocalist. He wrote the lyrics. Tony Iommi, the lead guitarist wrote most of the music for it. It came out in 1980

I've played this song so many times on both bass and guitar, but never with an arrangement this good. I saw Liliac in October 2023 and they didn't play this, but hopefully they will in February 2024 when I see them. Thanks for listening to and supporting Liliac.

Tony, I'm 61 , old rock listener, and I'd have to agree with you! Same here, I followed a few back in my teens and early 20s , then I couldn't find much worth following for many years! Then 6 years ago I stumbled across LILIAC doing Crazy train on the pier on KZread , and I'm still falling down the rabbit hole! " ROCKTHATLILIACLIFE"" !! WHAT A BAND!!! 👍

Hello my young quirky Canadian friends! Yes, I'm older. My teenage years Black Sabbath was of course with Ozzy. Bought my first Black Sabbath album in 1972 I think. In the DIO Black Sabbath Era this is one of my favorites. I haven't heard the studio recording of it for years. Truly paying homage. This is an almost 22 MeloDia singing this. I still love the live GoDpsLive version with Batio-Appice-Sarzo-Cristea. I got 2 now. When I get out my albums and play them from my Era the albums are darker in some ways. That kind of metal never went 'the way of the dinosaur', there are still new bands that play in that style. Visigoth, Night Demon, Enforcer, Eternal Champion, Smoulder, Riot City, among others 🤘

Dude n dudette.. I just really dig you 2 and your time you spend with us ole timers reacting. I heard Liliac first in 2017 and knew the lord had touched this fam with something special. I’ve seen them 3 times, met them and Papa ( far out dude for sure) and will be following them till I kick the bucket. LOL - it sounds like deep, dark '70s heavy rock because it IS deep, dark '70s heavy rock: it's a cover of Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell from the album of the same name (the one with the wonderful painting of three angels smoking and playing cards on the cover).

Lucy Thomas has two new releases you guys need to catch upn on. first is a duet with Martha which will make you speechless. It is, however, a Christmas song, should not really matter i suppose. The second is "Whiter Shade of Pale" just released. Loved this by the way. It is excellent.

have you listened to helen sjöholm, du måste finnas/ you have to be real with english subtitles yet? it's taken from a musical from 1995, kristina från duvemala, written and composed by abbas benny and björn. i have never seen such intensity in any singer. the choir woman standing right next to her is absolutely terrified by her intensity. best song in five years.

Wasn't this band originally called, BARLOW GIRL, they had a massive hit called NEVER ALONE.....

I didnt like his lead & sweeps too much. Didnt care for the drum buildup for the fast part, otherwise they did an awesome job & it sounded good.

Cringe, there’s a reason they’re not famous and they should stop the Dio stuff SHE is not a good vocalist and they are more of a good bar band.
