Had something like this happen to me when I was like 12... 2 girls purposely embarrassed me... Went home crying. My mom hugged me and told me they're not real friends. They showed up to my house and apologized. I said "I can forgive you guys"... Then my mom jumped in and said "but she doesn't forget and neither do I, I'm not done with you 2 but we're done for now!" And slammed the door in their faces! Very grateful for that lesson 30 years later ❤

My "friend" met my husband and kids for the first time and was smitten by him. A few weeks after meeting him, she asked me to borrow money. When I let her know that I'd have to talk it over with him, she said that she'd talk to him for me. I don't know what she thought she was going to say to him that I couldn't. This is what being bullied looks like. If you noticed, the girl who's wig was snatched off, did not defend herself. She's most likely the one everyone picks on and it's really heart breaking that this type of behavior goes on in the Black community a lot. I can speak on this because, I am Black. Unfortunately thats probably why the other girl thought it was acceptable and even funny to do it..knowing the young lady with the wig doesnt seem to have a condition that would physically necesitate wearing the wig..not saying its ok but in a immature brain she probably didnt think it s harmful to do this because from what she knows or can see the young miss just wears the wig cause she prefers to and likes it..sad thing is she did that while sporting horse hair herself and the other girl as u stated looks to have a full head of hair simply braided down.

I would bet that the one who snatched the wig thought her natural hair would be a hot mess. Unfortunately for her, that young lady had a beautiful hairstyle under the wig. I wonder what would happen if the shoe was on the other foot and her wig got snatched… I will say this, as someone who used to wear wigs and ponytails, one time at a party, I was dancing with a group and we were having a blast. I didn’t realize my ponytail was loose until it was in the middle of the circle. In an instant, the music went real low, most people stopped dancing and were looking at me. I kept dancing, started laughing, picked up the ponytail, swung it in the air while yelling turn the beat back up! It’s like everyone at the party was holding their breaths for those few moments and then burst out laughing. The music went back up and we all had a good time. My bestie came to me after I had gone to the restroom to make absolutely sure I was ok. (That’s what a real friend does.) I told her; I was; it’s my fault for not bobby-pinning my pony in better and I wasn’t going to ruin someone else’s party over something so ridiculous. We partied for a while more. It was an awesome night!

THEN she would ask them to put me on some type of school punishment (and I would have been grounded until she felt the point was made). Damn, I can't believe these wanna be mean girls are still doing these petty s*it. I remember my junior year in high school (2007), this one freshman girl had her period mess her jeans, so she had a hoodie wrapped around her waist. Her so-called friend pulled the hoodie from around her in the lunch room when they were passing by the boys table and started laughing while carrying the hoodie with her. None of us guys thought it was funny. We all got up to help the poor girl. One of my friends ran after her and took the hoodie from her..some seniors girls came over and took her to the bathroom and one offered to gave her her gym pants. I have 5 sisters, so that made me really mad that another girl would embarrass her friend like that just for fun... I have 4 kids (2) girls. One of my fear is that my girls will befriend these type of mean girls...

My sister has a group of college girlfriends that have a girls' weekend every 2 years. My sister has Alopecia, and one of the years she was completely bald, wearing a wig. They were at a small club, on the dance floor. A drunk jerk of a male keep sneaking up behind my sister, trying to snatch her wig off. Suddenly, the girls formed a tight circle, backs together, my sister in the middle. They shuffled the circle over to the jerk, and starting spinning it. One by one, they threw their drinks at him, saying things like, "Does it make you feel like a big man to embarrass a woman?", and, "You must have a really small pecker to have to compensate like that." Everyone began to laugh, and he stormed out of the bar. I don't know if he learned a lesson, but everyone in the club learned about real " Girl Power" that day!

I have always had dark knees and one day my friend and I were together and I decided to put makeup on my knees to try and cover the darkness because we were going to a game and we were both wearing shorts. When we got to the game she waited until we were in front of a lot of other people and she told them I had makeup on my knees and everyone started laughing and so did she. I was so hurt and confused and I went home and told my mom what happened and she told me that this girl is not your friend and mom disliked her from that day on, I was about 17 or 18 when this happened and I am 63 years old now and have never forgot how that made me feel.

I was struggling with having a hysterectomy at 30. I didn’t want anymore kids but not wanting and not being able to was hard for me. We were out at a bar with others and I said I didn’t want anymore alcohol so I was switching over to soda. She said “oh I forgot she’s empty inside.” It was like a physical pain. She blame it on the alcohol but it was because one of the guys was interested in me.

That was ASSAULT!! And there’s no other way to put it. What if they had snatched her edges off because of glue or clips. The victim was not amused. She texted on her phone to comfort her disapproval to give herself time to process and then react. This is Mean Girls level antics. We were all talking having a good time. I take it the guy she liked was talking and laughing with me too long. We exchanged numbers not for a date, but to hang out, we had things in common. The next day. She brings up that she saw us Exchange numbers. I said, "Yeah, we're gonna go to the museum to see the King Tut exhibit." She said, "Yeah, he told me that he liked you because you're simple and he doesn't have to worry about other dudes trying to steal you." They are, but only if you let them be. A lot of us hold onto toxic people and bad friends just to have a friend. It's the same thing with dating, you don't hold onto someone who would do you wrong just to have someone. If those people keep getting left, they have no choice, but to reflect... but people keep giving people a hundred chances. You do one out of pocket thing to me, we are done. I just ended a friendship of 20+ years because I realized she was not codependent, but a covert narcissist! Yayyy! We decided to quarantine together for work (she’s a medical provider and I’m an educator), and I realized she wasn’t safe to be around (bc of all the covertly narcissistic things). The last straw was the night she sabotaged my going away party that was supposed to be the next day. She was both mad and glad I was leaving, but upset that the party wasn’t about her. She invited some new dude over during set up (when she blew me off all week), then got upset when he was trying to help me set up…which she was supposed to do. She told me she wanted to help me design and sew might dress as a personal project. Then I caught her “whispering” to her date that she had no intention on helping me. She just kept getting drunker and drunker and had the loudest, most obnoxious sex she could. A couple nights before, she ruined a dinner my man cooked us (because we share) by stirring her unwashed hands around the pasta pot eating out all of the shrimp. Drank his cocktail…and kept it unapologetic. Threw around the place settings, kicked trash all around the kitchen, etc. Then when I told her about it the next day, it took her a half hour to apologize…and it wasn’t even a real one. She said, “I wish that didn’t happen. I need to examine how I use alcohol.” I wanted to beat her ass. My feeling (and her actions) let me know she was no longer a person to nurture. You shouldn’t want anyone to hurt your friends (including you). So bye bih! ✌🏾#notafriend

And second, they wouldn't want to get cussed the f--k out; which is what I'm doing if they pulled such a stunt. The only reason my friends might snatch off my wig would be if the wig became unsuitable to wear (it caught fire, bird landed/pooped on it etc).

THIS❤️💯🦾my half sister would always do and say things to try and embarrass me in front of people. Men and women tell me ugly things she allegedly said about me. I'd ask them what they said🧐 lol. They would tell me she's jealous because they believed I was pretty, more mature and academically gifted even though her mother is wealthy. I forgave her wholeheartedly and love her from a distance.

True, my sister tried to take a picture of me while I was looking crazy. I shut that crap down and told her "as if I don't have enough from when we were younger!" I don't understand some people

You stated it correctly ejspeaks. A true friend would never expose your flaws or weaknesses in public. When problems arise, they would come to you personally and discuss it.

Right? Girl, I be ready to fight behind my friends, so I'm very confused how everyone just stood there. Girl would have quickly gotten left behind, and we would have froze her out the group. I used to wonder about stories when I'd hear someone's ENTIRE friend group left them alone and too often, it was because THEY were the one causing the issues, but they will sit there with a straight face and tell you every single person they used to hang out with was toxic. When YOU leave a friend group, it's probably true that they were toxic, but if THEY all leave you alone, it's you.

….Lord. Thank you Lord for moments like these. Where that friend shows their true feelings towards you, DISTANCE yourself from that danger! Forgive em and end that friendship. This is a real blessing. Exposed hatred is a BLESSING. Because now yk who to AVOID.

EJ is so on point with this one. If a person makes you feel bad about yourself, he/she is not your friend.

I hope that was a planned prank by both parties….otherwise she was very lowdown and dirty to do that. Every one with good sense out there should have unfriended her on sight!!!

At that age, the way I would’ve reacted with my fist, I would’ve gotten the last laugh that day. That’s definitely not a friend, jealousy rears it’s ugly head. She couldn’t stand her being cuter than her.

Praying for the young lady who wig was snatched. Protection, healing, and discernment to get away from jealous people like this...had a cousin who constantly tried to embarrass me, from my clothing to my hair and weight. We're in our 40s now and she still the same. It's sad but I love her from an 8 hour distance and only really see or speak to her a couple of times a year😊

My wig fell off my head onto the floor but I didn’t realize it for a few seconds until I felt a breeze. When I looked to my right, my friend had picked it up and was holding it in her lap😂 we were seated in a crowded room with other people. I put it back on like everything was normal😂 We had a good laugh about it.

I feel bad for the young lady this happened to, it hurts my soul. She’s not a friend, she’s a snake. It’s not funny or cute to embarrass someone to make yourself look better. I hope she never associates with that snake again and heals and makes true friends. May she be blessed 10 fold.
