Do your personal build in that case with everything you can throw at it, and film the whole process, and release the videos step by step until the build is finished, that should give hours of content and I'm quite sure we would all love to see that here

I think it’s fair to say that all of us that have been watching you for so long, want to see you do your personal build in this. Skunkworks was the whole reason I wanted to do custom water loops in the first place and why I now can’t build without a custom loop.

That looks like a good spiritual successor to the old Skunkworks case. I know you want to redo the old Threadripper build in its case, but if Intel ever released a new HEDT platform this might be the case to do it in
I remember building in the V2000 many years ago. That was THE case, although it had zero wire management, the build quality was second to none. I would love to build in a 343 or the 777 anniversary just for the nostalgia.
That case is a beast! I designed a server off a Lian-Li case I was going to design my new home system after it. But now I might change everything after this. Thank you Jay!
Jay, if you build in this case I think it would be awesome to have it look like the old “pipe” screen savers with crazy perpendicular runs. I know how hard that is but it would be such a cool idea.
This case gives me caselab feels when they were pushing out monster-size cases with insane customization options.
A new Lian-Li case ? Ok now this I'm pumped for, always great to see what they come up with. I don't think it's an understatement, to say they're arguably and in my opinion the best case makers on the market right now, in terms of quality, look and ease of use to build in. P.S yes, you gotta do a build in this case
We NEED this build Jay. We need ALL the fans!
Great case. Looking at Lian Li's website, you should be able to rotate the motherboard tray, effectively putting the GPU vertically mid case and have another radiator space in the back for a 360 or 420. Love it.
I love it! It's crazy ridiculous overkill, but yes please do a build in it. As for the option to build a second system in the case I could see someone using it to house both their main PC, and a NAS server.
@Threesnap
Жыл бұрын
Damn that's a good idea the only problem is I think a ITX motherboard might be a little crap for a large nas
@thereallantesh
Жыл бұрын
@@Threesnapnot a large nas, but you could build a decent size one.
A couple of ideas for builds: 1) “ALL the water cooling” 2) “A reasonably extreme gaming & streaming build” 3) “My entire living family tree gets a new pc in one case” 4) “The ULTIMATE super sff pc plus an efficiency apartment for Phil in one case” 5) “Air cooling is SO easy” 6) “I built an every purpose PC/Vending machine”
Having completed multiple large builds with complicated loops… External rad with quick disconnects is 100% the way to go. Easier to service, maintain, and you don’t heatsoak the inside of the case.
Love seeing a giant proper ATX case back on the channel 👍
This should go in a no compromise watercooling build video or series. I’m in love with it!!!
Personal build in this PLEASE!! Would love to see this thing in action.
That is massive! Can't wait to see a water-cooled and air cooled build with this beast, Jay.
This case is all about options and I love it. Dual system with a triple loop cooling system just because you could. Once my parts where decided I’d customise the panels and mountings to maximise airflow.
I did love huge cases like that as I always tried to maximize rad usage. But it gets heavy and difficult to build in. Done it many times. But since I switched to a small case with two external MoRa with 200mm fans, I never want to go back. It's just quieter and easy to maintain. Besides that it is a nice case and quality looks fine, so if you are looking into something of that size, it'S for sure a good choice.
You have to do an overkill custom loop and fill up all the radiator spots. ALL OF THEM!
Back in around 2001, I got the Lian-Li cube case (probably nobody knows what that is). It was meant for servers, and was basically double the width of a standard ATX case (and held 2 power supplies). It was perfect for the experimental water cooling of the time, I mounted my pump, reservoir, second PSU (for peltiers), and radiator on one half, and the PC components on the other. And yeah, it was heavy…. I really wish I still had it. Never thought Lian-Li would be well known after all these years, it was totally unknown back then.
Phil is a treasure! Give him more screen time and a raise. Definitely a raise. 😁

I would really like to see a full custom waterloop build in this.
Just like spongebob and patrick, a box can bring so much joy and unlimited possibilities
Lian-Li was THE dream case like 20 years ago, they where some of the first premium cases to be found world-wide, I remember just dreaming about a Lian-Li ALU case back in 2001-2002 :)
Please add water cooling everywhere in that case and attach as many fans as possible (noctua industrial) and lets hear and see the beast perform
From what I see in the official video by Lian Li, this case like the upcoming O11 EVO XL has a fully removable motherboard tray. With the Phanteks D140 distro plate on the rear fan position that would make plumbing the CPU and GPU tube runs an absolute breeze.
Lian Li has climbed to top tier over the last few years. Their machining is precise and there engineers do a great job of thinking out possible issues and resolving them before manufacture. I love the Dan A4H2O, small form factor capable of a 12700k + 3080ti FE build. I hope they lead the way in making RBG into a simple addition rather than the current headache it seems to be.
I still rock Lian Li's PCV1000 as my media server. I've had it for 15 years and won't ever give it up. They just don't make them like they used to.
you'll need extra long cables for fans/psu cabling etc, since distance between components is insane
@Sol_Divisive

This is my biggest problem with my Corsair 1000D... there's only one guy who makes extensions for corsair fans with RGB on ebay and they're pricy. I needed something ridiculous like 400.00 in just extensions so that I could cable manage everything "cleanly". I just can't bring myself to do it, it feels too over priced.
Special thanks Lian-Li for ITX mount in it! Great sense of humor 🤩

How is it a great sense of humor? It's point is so people could have a second functuonal small format build in it. I really would love to see a dual system build in this case! Of course with full custom loop(s) and filled up with fans to the roof!
I've got an 011 XL and I agree that it's overused, but it looks so clean. It's also a dream to build in and being able to fit 3 360mm rads is nice. I'm hoping Lian Li releases an "evo" version of it soon.

I also have one, but I didn't at all enjoy building in it because of cable management. Those HDD cages in the back just get in the way, and I found it a chore to fit everything in that little gap between the side radiator and the HDD cages. I ended up switching to a Phanteks Eclipse P600S so I could use 140mm fans and it was so much more enjoyable to build in.

@praetorxyn I took those out first thing. I could definitely see how they would get in the way though!
I bet you LianLi would be more than willing to send you a set of custom long length cables for their fans so you can use the fans in this case. EDIT: I would love to see a build in this case just for the fact that I wanna see how amazingly clean the cable management would be with 12+ lianli fans running off a single controller.
I wanted one of these the moment I saw it! I've been wanting a dual system case for ages and none of them got me as excited as this beast. I currently have two cases (O11D XL & O11D Mini) on my desk.
Good reason why lian li dynamic range is so popular it’s the best case out there by a mile especially for that price range
This has to be the first case ive seen in ages where I have genuinely wanted one at first sight, its awesome bring back monster pc cases, I pride myself on having a pc that realistically shouldn't be moved by one person.
The O11 is definitely over-used, because it's awesome. I got two in my living room right now. Wouldn't dream of building in anything else, unless I fell into a pit of money and could go for a four rad watercooled system, just for the heck of it. Lian Li is killing it with the fans, the AiO, the cases, the strimers and even the software.
Gotta love big towers. So massive, so much space for tech and air flow. Just delicious.
Man that's gotta be at least as big as my SMA-8. Loved the builds you did with that, Jay, so had to get one. So many options with this case though! Great review.
I absolutely love the wounded effect yall put in the video
Jay just totally fan-grilling for this case is good content!
I love Phil's editing!!
My first build i did myself was in an antec 1200. Overcompensating for nothing in a big boy case is the way of life. I totally get why you love it
This case deserves at least 1 build in it :) Do it Jay, would be fun.
Reminds me of my cm cosmos 2. That case was so overkill for what I wanted to add to it but it was so good having the room for extras.
I need this Jay energy on every video!
You can also turn the mother board tray around and mount it in different ways. I like the face down look in this case, that’s why the grommet is besides the psu
Yes!! Build it! 1 system. Crazy overkill! Insane cooling! I would love to have a no limits build in that case.
I really like the horizontal mount cases like the Thermaltake cube series
Build it to the max. I am 59 and just recently built my first PC and used a Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL with a 360 AIO and 10 fans. Love Lian Li
DO ITTTTT Jay! Build in this!
YES! Please build in this case. Also what would be cool is make a full game room box. Beast pc with a ps5, Xbox series x and switch all in one case. You for sure have the room to make that work
Lian Li literally said "hold my beer" 🤣 I was deadset on wanting to get the o11 XL ...........but I may have found my Dream Case
Amazing! I smell a new personal rig with this case! It reminds me of a modern Case Labs case!
As an owner of the older v3000 case, I love some of the improvements they made in the v3000+
You could pass in water lines from other cases to use the radiators in this case. Looks like the perfect case for a cracking rig. Been with Lian Li since 2001 when I got my PC75, they make the best cases.
build in the damn thing please jay im drooling over this case
Definitely keen to see a crazy build in the case!
"My God! It's full of stars" que the 2001 A space odyssey music. We even had a few monkeys (Thanks Jay and Phil) using the monolith as a drum early in the clip. Hell yes! We want to see a build.
We're ready for a Jay overkill watercooling everywhere build!
I'm so excited to see what jay does with this case!
I would love to see a massive custom loop system in this case! I think you should make it happen Jay!
There it is, the warm fuzzy feeling. Dual loop time sir!
It reminds me of a modern version of the Cooler Master Haf series, the 935 and 915 stacked. I love the heck out of that case and use it for a Plex server!
Jay, saw you at Disney today and didn't want to bother you on your vacation. Love the content. Have a great time.
Finally, a new released case that makes the Strix 4090 look normal
nice upgrade from my original v3000. will buy as soon as it comes out
Finally! A case I might upgrade to over the 900d. Still lacks a top psu mount option.
Loved to see the announcement for this monster of a case. Seeing this "in person" kinda just upped the excitement for it. Only gripe are the fan mounts... Did they really need to put THAT many different options for mounts on there and essentially block like 50% of the fans airflow? Makes you wonder about the noise too...
The 011 Dynamic is a popular case for a reason. I did a build in one and hands down the best experience I've had with PC building.

I think Lian Li is coming out with fan group extension cables for the SL120 V2 fans! I see some on AliExpress. I do not see them on Lian Li website yet though. I did read somewhere that they are coming though due to the large amount of feedback advising cables are too short for high-end builds. Lian Li is pretty responsive to the fanbase! C'Mon Jay, you KNOW you want to do your next ultimate build in this case...and we WANT to see it!

I may have found the case to replace my enthoo primo with. It's about the same price and has some extra features that i like. Thank you Jay.
I really love this case actually thinking about buying one. I just wish there was more hard drive storage.
I picked up this case last week. Can't afford to water cool right now. But I'm finally learning how to build My own PC. I'm nervous but excited.
There must be a distro plate available for the motherboard tray fan slots, that would 100% be cool and the maybe a smaller pump on the bottom of the case for that extra power
I was lucky enough to track down an original V3000 and went dual loop and was actually able to mount a 120mm Rad on the rear exhaust as well so total of 4 rads in it. most amazing case I've ever built in and love all the capabilities it has.
