Of course David knows "Wherefore art thou" means why are you and not where. Way to go, David.

I love Rhod's mentally scrambling to figure out how to tell the story, as if he's making it up on the spot.

that’s why he gets asked back. Because he knows how to play the game. There are a few who tell the story but it is obvious what the answer is and then at the end they seem delighted that the others got it right.

Rhod realised long ago that acting like a clueless buffoon works just as well as acting all confident, independently of if the story is true or not, and it is much easier to answer and be funny that way. Because it could always be a double buff.

Really difficult to understand someone with such a severe speech impediment. I don't know why the show keeps inviting the Welsh.

Do you mean Rhod? If so, no, this was filmed during the pandemic restrictions in late 2021 (hence the split desks and screens) and the episode aired in Feb 2022; Rhod was diagnosed in July 22.

The worst part is not that Rhod's story is true, but that Victoria's is a lie. Who would not have given her the good Lord without confession ?

If you don’t like Rosie, don’t watch clips/episodes she’s in? There are so many years worth of this show for you to watch. You don’t need to whinge about it like a toddler.

It's fair to criticize people. What's messed up is censoring comments whose only sin is being critical of a certain guest.

  • @Cozycountry1

@@encycl07pedia-No, there is a difference of being critical if a guest wasn't funny or had any zero amusing/unusual/bizarre stories that us viewers wouldn't like to see them return again. People being bullies about Rosie's way of speak is not right and is not necessary.

  • @encycl07pedia-

@@Cozycountry1 A key part of comedy is timing. I don't think she has that part down very well. It's difficult to understand her. She slows down the conversation to a crawl when she's speaking. It may not be "PC," but it's true. I mean this very show and many people make fun of the Welsh but evidently having a Welsh accent is "mockable." How is any of the criticism about Rosie any different?

@@encycl07pedia- I mean honestly if you don't like it, that's on you. It only takes a second to get used to what she's saying and she has great timing, she's a comedian. If you watch the segment where she's doing a truth or lie, it's clear she's able to have conversations with those questioning her without slowing down the conversation. I'm sorry your brain lacks the capabilities to quickly adjust to different people's ways of talking but "Would I lie to you" is not for everyone. Given the amount of Welsh jokes on the show, I'm surprised you've watched this far into the series.
