She was being fair by not charge the international price to you, 15.000 rupiah for a coconut is a fair price and it's a local price. You gave her IDR 50.000 and she thought you gave her more for a tip that's why she kept it.

Thank you Harry for wanting to understand our shortcomings, I suggest Harry to use google translate for some time because Indonesians still need to learn a lot of English. so that Harry and Indonesians could communicate with each other well, because the coconut seller gave a normal price of 15,000 Rupiah, when Harry heard it was 50,000, yes I understand it was the seller's mistake who mispronounced it in English. the seller just thought the 50,000 rupiah you gave him was a tip for him, so actually the salesman had told Harry that it was 15,000 rupiah.
