Magic Shop was written and produced by Jungkook, the youngest member of their group. Jungkook: I wrote this song for our fans. Since it’s a fan song, it didn’t really feel like working but it’s a song that contains how I feel and how I love our fans. There were some things that RM hyung said during concert. He said “ if it’s you who found us and Acknowledged us, you can do it too” I started this song based on these words. It’s a song that tells, if you are tired and weary from reality, you open the door inside your mind and there will be Magic Shop and inside of it, there will be 7 of us who’ll give that strength for you. I wrote this to dedicate to our fans. It would make us very happy if a lot of people gain strength and be comforted through our song. When you feel tired and down, please visit Magic Shop. (Smiles)

I've only been army since September 2020, but I'm so in love with BTS and the sincerity and gratitude they have towards army. That's why no other artists can compare.

about suga being very open and honest with his lyrics: the last is such a personal and heartbreaking song from yoongi's album... it's also one of my favs since he opened up so much about his struggles and i can relate to them even when they're written very directly about him and his life

You're not wrong about the crying. I kept my composure right up until this song two nights running in Chicago. Then it was like oh snap, who brought onions to a BTS concert??? It's because you know, you one thousand percent understand in your soul that each and every one of them means every single word. They want to be our comfort, to be our solace, to be our place of safety and rejuvenation. We don't deserve them, but they do their best to convince us that we do.

Yeah totally, I would love that too. But I think it's a little early for that. Coz there's a lot of references and inside jokes that only armys who've been here for a long time or at least those who have seen everything related to BTS will understand. Otherwise it won't be as funny.

They made a VCR skit for their 5th Muster (fan meeting) on the theme of Magic Shop, and enacting the story of JK as ARMY seeking comfort in the therapy of a “magic shop”. It is HILARIOUS. You can google it, although it has been taken off YT many times, as it is paid content.

This is also one of my most favorite songs of all time. It saved me countless of times during my low times. I remember when antis laughed at the beautiful lyrics "you gave me the best of me, so you'll give you the best of you" saying that the lyrics were wrong, like it should have been so I'll give you the best of you or some other variation. They didn't know or try to understand the power of that lyrics which is just so sad. Glad you loved this song as well. Waiting for mic drop~

18:30 it really is a great song to find comfort in during the craziness of the world right now. what's crazy though is JK has written songs with the intention to give us comfort during the pandemic the first is "Still With You" that he released in June last year (I think you'd really, reaallly love this one). and the second is "Stay" which you heard when you listened to BE thank you for another great video (also its ok to make longer videos! many of us love hearing your thoughts) 💜

When I first looked up the lyrics for this the tears just poured out of me. V is my bias, his bridge which conveys such soul and pain absolutely destroys me. Suga is my second bias and his verse like every verse just opens his heart wide and lets you see all of him. And all the others are my bias wreckers and just hit me right in the feels. Agreed, favourite song and a big warm hug when you need it. Which is exactly what it's supposed to be.

For BTS Festa 2020, JK wrote a solo song for Armys 'Still With You' and released it on soundcloud. It's one of the most beautiful all rounded songs out there. Also the Magic Show reference gives u a good insite to Fake Love, once u get there, it might be too soon tomention it but when u get to Fake Love i do suggest u also watch the teasers cuz it will make more sence☺️

Your face showed how proud you are of them, how each Member brought out a different emotion as thy sang. There is a “Skit”? BTS does called BTS, Fifth Muster, which is so good, Magic Shop.

Whenever BTS write a song for us ARMYS.. its like a love letter to us and it absolutely makes me warm and feel like im being blanketed in a hug by all the members. I love this song more than i can put into words

I often heard people say that you find BTS when you most need them. I found them in March last year when I was in a heavy depressive episode and when I dealt with a lot of suicidal thoughts. I listened to Magic Shop about 20 times a day because it gave me so much comfort. As far as I'm concerned Magic Shop and BTS in general are one of the reasons I'm alive. This song just means a lot to me.

I love this song and your emotional journey is exactly what I went through the first time I heard it too. I've always interpreted the ARMY chants back as BTS's sneaky way of making us promise to be kind to ourselves within the framework of the song. Whenever I've seen anyone say back to them "I'll show you" (whether live or on video), I like to think that they are actually making a statement of intent to BTS. It's an affirmation that "I'll show me the best of me" which makes it more likely that I will actually do it. Even when I'm listening to the song without the chant back, I'll say it out loud, because it helps remind me to commit to being kind and loving to myself. They're so sneaky!!

YES oh my god I got so excited when I saw the title! Magic Shop is one of my all-time favorite songs, I watched them perform it at a concert in 2018 during the Love Yourself world tour and I SOBBED. I'd highly recommend listening to Mikrokosmos if you like the vibe of Magic Shop :)
