I like how he explained more regarding the watching Friends part ... he says in another interview that he watched it with his Mom using Korean subtitles on it repeatedly. Then I believe he said he listened to it dubbed and with English subtitles. He mentioned listening to it both ways which is interesting. He also speaks Japanese in addition to English and first language of course. Impressive.

i just want to say that rm has talked how them being extra silly in american interviews helps him and eases him since he already has so much responsibility on him. rm has said how when they first started promoting in america members were pretty quiet etc and it was extremely hard for him, they had a talk after and after that members always tried to ease the mood (j-hope and jin are especially good at that) and answer the questions too as much as possible to comfort and help rm :) but you know... there still might be some instances when he's actually done haha (also clips in this are really old like 3-7 years old)

Jungkook is pretty good. But also funny. You'll usually know if he learned a new word or a phrase, because he will then use it at every possible opportunity :D :D :D.

RM learned English by watching the sitcom Friends when he was a kid🤯 Yoongi & JK are the great at English too but they are the most introvert too so they don't speak as much but whenever they do, it's very clear they can understand and speak almost everything.

For real though RM talks about how stressful it was for him when they first started to break out in America and how hard it was for him to handle all of the interviews. He talked to the guys about it and they all really came together to put in a better effort to help RM. you can see the change over time especially in 2018. The guys have the best relationship seriously. I think it is special how much effort they really want to put into english. I don’t know many artists that would do that.

their english is constantly improving, even in the few last months j-hope was said to be studying for some kind of english exam and suga said he has been studying english lately because he has become really interested in american music market

to be honest while they are funny during english interviews they are way funnier in their own variety shows when they all can speak freely

Their music and message is great, but it's the side stuff that brought me in for good. Getting to see their unique personalities, sense of humor, and interactions made it 'real' for me. 💜

They really do let us into their world a lot. I think that's a big part of why they are so popular. Even though most of them have their own homes they still live under one roof.

Same, I think he is just holding it back. He is more of a quiet learner and then he shows his skills when no one was expecting it. Was the same with his archery skills. After he failed once, he must have been practicing it, because the second time he nailed it.

I don’t know if it started as a joke but I def think Sprite is now an ongoing joke for them. J Hope mentions it in other more recent interviews and even in a vlive.

lmaooo V is also a funny member, he's like the dumb blonde of the group 😌😂😂 he's also called alien/taelien because when he speaks english or chinese he switches to Japanese, then he also mix words up like, "Can you speak more SLUSH" instead of saying SLOWLY he said SLUSH 😂

They have all got so much better with their English over the years. They have all been practicing a lot to get better to help RM out but also to be able to communicate with IARMY better. Gotta love them for that. That’s why I started learning Korean - seems like a fair trade! Lol. RM taught himself English by watching videos of the sitcom Friends. He watched with Korean subs, then English subs over and over. Of course it helps that he has an IQ of 148 - genius man. JHope LOVES Sprite - how he hasn’t been asked to do an ad for them is beyond me. Now you will understand all the Sprite memes out there. Great reaction

Yeah, the fan questions clip they showed at the end... that entire thing was absolutely hysterical, since they were all trying to answer the questions in English. One of the questions was about what gift would you give to the member to your right, and V said, "Color .... changing ........ soup..?" with this hilariously puzzled expression on his face and the rest were staring at him like he'd lost his mind. Eventually it became clear that what he meant was hair dye. It was SO funny.

Hi Caitlin! Yes, this was a funny video and thanks for the reaction to this video. I believe J Hope does like Sprite. It is his favorite. I think in the beginning of their debut, RM had to do a lot of the talking in the interviews and translate to the other members and this probably was tiring to him but now, they are all learning English which is amazing. I can see all the members talking more and speaking more English words.....they are so cute! I love BTS!🙂💜

I think Yoongi is the second most fluent. There are some interviews where he just speaks really softly and you can hear him. Joonkook has good pronunciation tho.

RM learned English by watching the sitcom friends he learned English from there his mom got him the whole DVD set of the 10 seasons of friends and that is where he started to learn he has a difficulty switching from Korean to English quick but he does it very well but a lot of people forget that he dosent speak English everyday and so sometimes he can mess up aswell so us as the fandom we are very protective of him when he speaks English
