---------------------------
Here I am in Nagaland and this vlog is about the FIRST green village of India - KHONOMA!
I spent my day walking around and exploring this beautiful sustainable eco-village of Khonoma. And can you believe that this same village used to be a Hunter’s village?!
In earlier times, the main livelihood of the people here came from hunting and animal trade but the village collectively decided to change their ways to save the environment. All the Hunters are now forest rangers and their main livelihood now is organic farming!
I visited the garlic fields, local houses and the Khonoma Fort; tried one of the SPICIEST chillies of the world which is grown here in Nagaland; ate some of the sweet dried apples too; explored a tiny waterfall in Dzuleke and visited the very FIRST self-payment shop I have ever seen!
It amazes me that there is so much trust within the community to take care of their homeland and their neighbours. The part that I LOVED the most is that each house here uses fruits trees and flower plants to decorate their surroundings instead of artificial materials.
This definitely was a beautiful day for me and I can’t wait to show you guys all the other MAGICAL experiences that Nagaland has to offer!!

Here in Delhi, if you go to Nagaland food stall in Dilli Haat(INA one), you can find yourself “Raja Mirchi” pickle and it’s just so yummy!! This pickle adds so much taste and flavour to your food. It’s Love!❤ All hail Raja Mircha 🌶️

Since no one is explaining it to you, lemme do that. The best time to visit Nagaland is during the month of December. Because there's a famous festival called Hornbill festival and the fest starts from dec 1 to 10. But remember you have to go to kohima the capital of Nagaland to visit the festival
Can you please tell me how much ur nagaland solo trip cost u?
There are lots in other districts too! Infact kohima is the last to adopt this self payment shop! Kohima people don't know about other districts coz it's people are confined only within their place they don't go much beyond their jurisdiction.

@theingenious8197 it's the other way around, lol. Don't let your hatred and envy of Angamis, distort facts. It's showing. Maybe there's a reason why God has blessed the Angami people with rich culture, history and location, that made the British want to make it, it's capital. And not favour your insecure, scheming and opportunistic ancestors.
Please come to visit Sikkim
Why don't you come to Mechuka in Arunachal Pradesh
You are not only looking beautiful, you speak beautifully. Among indian utubers your english sounds better.
Very well covered. Welcome back again...
I. Love. Kohima😍👍
Why haven't visited World War ll cemetery and museums of it in Heritage Village Kishama. Last Headhunter too😊

2:53 it hurts... If this had been china, there would have been an entire different scenario. But it hurts more seeing the Christian cross in between. Cuz I'm a Jacobite Syriac Christian from Kerela and being a part of the world's oldest Christian community, we owe gratitude to this beautiful land of India who provided us with safe passage during the time when abassid caliphate literally wiped all of the Christians there in middle East. We lived here and thrived here. It's so sad that they used our holy cross for justifying their ethinc tusle. May Christ the lord bless my india forever

Dude we might be Christian's in Brotherhood but our land were brutally uprooted from us Nagas you will see Nagas in Myanmar,Manipur ,Assam and Aruchnal pradesh, our lands and people taken from us and an artificial boundary has been erected and imposed on us Indigenous people by the then leadership.
@Judah_889
8 ай бұрын
@@ying7482 But what's the purpose of using the holy cross to justify your ethinic tusles & if you feel that our faith object us to live under a secular country, then you're mistaken because Christ himself said us to give those what belongs to the king & give those what belongs to the god. But still being a indian, may I ask you for the hypothesis which lets you feel that Nagaland can live as a sovereign country which neither do have any sea route not any prior industry nor a descent education. I mean in the 90s, even I witnessed several tamil separatist movements here in my state where LTTE asked for a similiar tamil sovereign state from india & Sri Lanka just like how nagas are splitted within india & Myanmar. And do look the instability and havoc LTTE made on tamil civilians despite Sri Lanka, Kerela & Tamil Nadu shares the largest sea route & even has the highest HDI record. So I believe unity in diversity lets us move forward for development while oneness of culture lets us move backward. Nevertheless I guess it's better for your people to use some other naga symbols than our holy cross.
@Judah_889

@@SlimJim3082 yea we do have a good literacy rate but Kerela is also the few states of India with has the least poverty rate and the highest HDI. Although banglore is in Karnataka not Kerela yet I've seen quite a lot North Easterners in Kerela too

@@Judah_889well said they should have used their own symbols instead of holy cross….this hurts the sentiments of millions of Christians

The store plaque mention that if the people of Nagaland really feel that they are not Indian, then please do not promote tourism of Nagaland to Indian people? Why should we support them by going there and spending our money to support the tourism and economy of Nagaland? There are so many other Indian states that are proud to be Indian, where we could spend our money to support their tourism and economy instead.
