The wendigo may seem tanky at first and it actually is to blunt type attacks (for example a mace or club). But stab/pierce attacks directly to the blue heart on its lower stomach destroys that thing.

Was a real strain to mind with this new dungeon. SO many PVE but still fun.

some games ill find tons of blue item and treasure , others ill extract with pretty much nothing - still love the ice caves also protip for extracting , the rafts are 100% guaranteed to be leaving within the last three ticks on the timer

Ye samezies... I personally lost momentum around the great bard fuckening and never got it back. That and the whole blatant teaming and exploiting trade by funneling gear to certain peoples farming LB's. Your average person without a community stood not a chance. But mentioning it was taboo? I duno weirdge community

Lol I did the same thing of normals and spectating when this new map came out x'D. And yes it was hilarious, including my own deaths haha. The barb clip is insane, the debuffs stack? x'D Still a W patch but they got some stuff to work out. Great work btw, love the editing :).

Thanks for bringing some much-needed levity and humor to the DaD community.

I love the ice caverns, it’s feels good to HAVE to use my juicy kits. Rolling in golds feels insane. Everyone I’ve come across is really undergeared and falls at my feet!

My favorite part about the map is that any time you enter one of the open area rooms, you start to constantly hear skeletons spawning wherever you go, and then all of a sudden a minute or two later you see a row of them pulling up next to you. The aggro ranges are absurd, and the mob density is even more absurd on this map. Places that have bats would normally have 1-3 of them in other maps, in this map those places would have 4 bats, 2 archers, and 3 spawnable axe/frost skeletons.

I fuckin love this janky game dude. Thanks for the video spuddy, so many hilarious clips in this one.

Can you put out a full video on solo que ideas for the wizard whilst taking into consideration the balance affects it could have on trios. For example I think something like a Damage buff or next empowered spell after using a full meditation could be decent buff. another good suggestion I saw was allow the wizard to very slowly passively recharge spells whilst standing/moving. What are your suggestions on stuff like buffing 'slow's cast speed without making it too busted to spam with high knowledge, or possibly what spells would you suggest need to have the movement speed debuffed removed for while casting? Great content spud! always gives me a laugh.

I love getting rooted by the base mobs and being unable to dodge :)

Goblin caves was still too hard for most people I knew. Some tarkov players I knew that got me into DaD quit because of the goblin caves. I can't even imagine them on this map, this isn't just a knowledge check there is WAY more mobs and they have HUGE hp pools. There's nowhere to run because of mob density you can't escape if another player rushes you there is just no way to disengage.

I guess you're meant to play really methodically and slow and just... pve one or two rooms and get out. The ice map is a bit beyond me in terms of design. @@beh256

I honestly felt like at 18:46 that it would end with the scene from shrek where he rips the page out of the book and says "Like thats ever gonna happen."

Man i just finished my first frost cave evacuation and this is really insane

I love this new map so much. All the new kinds of exits are amazingly fun! After the bugs get worked out it'll probably be my favorite and I normally hate Snow maps lol

On the raft spawns, you don't need to be on the raft to extract (Unless they fixed it from the roll back) as you can just wade through the water and jump onto a ledge and jump up to extract.

Stock wizard takes 10 swings to kill a blue skeleton on normal difficulty

My only 2 issues with the map are the mob density, like you said, and the timer being slightly off. I had 5 seconds left to extract the other day and still died.

That ending got old quick 😂. Seriously though spud your an amazing entertainer. Keep up the great content.

honestly if they dont wanna tone down the amount of maps, they can just increase the time allowed on the map by 3x and it'll make it so people might actually get to pvp before they need to leave

I love ice cavern current difficulty. Brutal pve, loving it. And wizards are became broken as much as before.

I think timer extension and a loot rarity buff are all this map needs aside from bugfixes. Mob density is good where its at imo, there needs to be some kinda threat on the map since there is no dark swarm, and i think the increased amount of mobs is a good work around. If the mob density was the same as the other maps, then thered be no threat from the pve since the rooms are so easy to kite them in.

@@guildwars8889 once people warm up, pun intention tba, they'll be more comfortable pushing through and looking for fights. For now, the dangerous pve is a nice change of pace imo. Same thing happened with gobbo caves. People said there was no pvp when the expansion came, but eventually there came to be a handful of areas where players would naturally meet up and fight. If you want pvp, just shove gold room every game. More than half the attempts youll run into someone trying to do the same.

It was amazing, getting pissed about my first death to the first elite frost skelly ive seen, then going into spectate and watching the entire server get wiped by pve 5 mins after the game started.

i fucking said the same thing bro extreme masochism in the new map XD

I pray for the sake of the new map they give wizard some form of PvE combat ability besides using your 5 magic missiles to clear 5 mobs and sitting down in a corner for 3 minutes

I like the ice map personally

My only issue with the map is in solos depending on loadout/class it can take the entirety of a run to clear a module. Often other players will drag shitloads of mobs into the module u r in rushing ur nearby extraction, compounding time spent in pve. It’s so rare I can find pvp on this map being forced to deal with mobs. I don’t think it’s a hard map just tedious as hell.

i hope when they make wizard playable in solo they do the same for cleric :)

While I do like the difficulty of this map, it is really just torture clearing out rooms as anything other than a barbarian or big damage class. If you play rogue with even a good spawn, you'll just get destroyed by like 5-6 enemies. In gobby caves you can deal with mobs maybe 1-2 at a time, but on Ice caverns you have to deal with harder versions of mobs in 3+ increments. If they turn the mob density down slightly, or increase the timer by a bit, then I'm all for the new map.

They should have ext timers for the new map. Mob density shouldnt be changed since peeps are still learning new mechanics
