They need to revamp the hit detection/registration and it’s netcode where you don’t have to share kills and die through corners making gunfights a bit consistent like COD.

That's a big priority for them, they've been working on it since launch and even made improvements in those matters. Changing fundamental systems of the game like that takes longer than everything else though.

The last time I got on this game I literally jump slid on the side of a sniper completely breaking his aim and he shot while I was on the side of him and he still somehow one shot me. I cut the game off and haven’t played it since. If they add a killcam, I’ll try it again.

Kill calms are actually really difficult to make. Give the game a chance regardless because we are not seeing this feature any time soon. On the aim breaking side of things i get ur story was crazy. I guess it comes back to what they said initially: "what you see is what you get". Maybe that was the case for this sniper player. However dont hold a grudge against these plebs, things are going our way more than ever, especially with season 1 blowing a beautiful promise of fun in our ears!

@@GunGoBang It’s one of those genres like 2K and Madden…casuals will always buy and dump millions of dollars into their micro transactions. Hardcore gamers have moved on from FPS and sports games. RPG’s and ARPG’s are starting to get more love.

@@Ririmo382 So I tried it again yesterday and ended up deleting the game. What’s happening on my screen can’t be the same thing that’s on theirs. My aim has been pretty good on FPS. The net code has to be off because I’m shooting first, yet dying first far too often. And my internet is top notch.

@@OutsideTheRopes yeah bro if you've been keeping up with news the game is currently bugged on PS5 for some players that may include you. Its sadly happening at the launch, but knowing how fast the XDefiant team is, i think this issue is most definitely at top priority that they'll fix as soon as possible. I didnt get to play any game of season 1 yet, because i have poor connection that cnnot handle the 4gb download in a reasonable time manner. But i still plan on playing as soon as stuff gets stable on both ends. Personnaly as far as my experience goes Xdefiant is more likeable on PC due to the better handling of the M/K input device, and the better optimization and framerate. So yeah i can see why you're frustrated that some glitches and bugs went thru the update as they may have tried to please very much the players. You should be watching Blame's truth video on, Season 1 issues, he's got many points, the goods and the bads. But brother, i dont think you would wanna play Call of Greed: Rigged Warfare 2.5, or any other FPS at the moment. IN my eyes, the gameplay takes a bit of time to adjust to but is genuinely fun and laid back, with the game having personnality in its characters, abilities and maps, as well as the fair, PING and PARTY-SIZED prioritized matchmaking system implemented into the game, in pubs. So don't give up on the game! Be patient, more than u prob. ever been, like me who has craved for a good FPS to come out for years and not disappoint/betray my forever broken trust. Because Call of Duty with the recents entries has been more and more rigged, and when i released how fake the matches were i pretty much stopped playing any FPS out of disgust and the feeling of treason (spending hundreds for decades to a franchise manipulating you). With Xdefiant i dont got my dreams up but i'm still faithful and enjoying the game as it is, and what it offers is that varied, fast paced and organic, the skill is not the most important factor, you can actually go in there, rack a ton of kills and express your skill, thus enjoying yourself like in the cod golden era. Sorry for the long comment, i felt like i had to help a bro not feeling bitter and betrayed, at least if you wanna play any FPS, the team managing XD have the best intentions for us the players, and really want us to have fun and like the game, so i understand their pain too when they hear your kind of feedback... DONT GIVE UP! TRUE ENJOYMENT AWAITS US

Nope. Somehow the Season 1 update has seemingly undone the previous netcode patches and it now feels as bad as it did at launch.

If we're being honest all they gotta do is change sniper body shot to 2 hits and the head the same. In that case gsk is heavily armored but they also have a movement nerf. A middle ground where the gsk abruiser will have hard time dealing a movement cutoff. And most people would be happy, but no one focus on that.

If casual players, if there are any left like me, will this game then survive ?

I saw that the TTK in this game is insane. Way more bullets than BO1 3-5 shot TTK. Is that true? Cuz i support XD but I might have to pass if I have to dump half a mag just to leave a gunfight up to a coin flip

you had a player with the name guest , as i understand it these are ppl trying cheat software and they get assigned the username guest with random numbers behind it , the idea is its a try before you buy , i report them everytime i see them.

Yea, when a sniper says in the description that it's supposed to be one shot body shots but my opponent is left with 10hp after I shot them in the chest I'm a bit annoyed tbh.

Here I was thinking I was the only goofball who consistently gets hit markers with the snipers. Meanwhile, I’m one shot by every damn sniper in the game. In XDefiant I have never been killed by a sniper who had to shoot me twice, ever.

Just think about it for a moment... The usefulness of that helmet is real. Its basically allowing u to hold a head glitch vs sniper and having them two-shotting u in the head instead of one. Now that you get it, you get it. Right? Copy pasted just for you.

I think shotgun is 1 shot too on that distance. So.... You gotta play like mnk players that hop around constantly. Try the sniper in PC lobby.

I honestly wouldn’t even be mad if they made that phantom shield so it only deflected damage and they’re not able to shoot through it either. I mean for crying out loud, they already get extra hp they don’t need a shield they and they’re teammates can sit behind and shoot you on top that.

Unfortunately, I don't think the headshot defense for the new faction is gunna be enough. Like at all. Like you said, snipers in XDefiant aren't shooting at the head because they don't have to. Why shoot for a smaller target when you can shoot center mass with a TAC-50 and still get the kill? Hell, even the M44 one-bangs if you hit the upper torso. I used snipers in this game for the first time like a week ago. Unlocked the Tac-50 in a single match. Then equipped the ACOG on the M44 and did nearly 30 kills on my second match. And I'm not even that good tbh.

ive been sniping since mw2 [og] ima ray gunner to so i got experience with both so i can say sniping is not easy if u practice enough u can make it look easy but thats the reward of practicing. u cant just pick up a sniper an go off if u not a sniper thats y people who complain about snipers cant snipe themselves lol if its cheap an easy i challenge people to pick an sniper an see how hard it is lol. and i play pc so no aim assist sniping is easier on console cuz yall have aim assist but u gotta respect a pc sniper

I'm not even a sniper like that and I've picked up both the Kar98 on MW3 and the Tac 50 on Xdefiant and gone on streaks with it, just to show that they're easy mode and anyone with decent aim can pick them up and dominate with them. Then they love to say "oh if you're bad you won't be able to do well with it so it's not cheesy!" Well if someone is bad, it wouldn't matter what gun they had then, idiots.

quick sniping is op. because its good at every range. a weapon is not supposed to dominate at all ranges. bunny hopping is done because it messes with hit detection. people saying to add sbmm. they are trolling. no one likes that shit. i suck and i dont like it. yea fortnites freaking killing it. and metallica was just added to it. and the mobile scene is real good.

Snipers are the best shotgun in the game. The shotgun’s are the absolute worst. I have clips of me getting 2 point blank headshots and still not getting the kill
