Great video ive been making concrete 20s but I wouldn't mind some Steel... What exactly did you ask them for?

@@mrbabajidee3133 I just asked them for round plates. I later found out you can even get the centre cut out via the laser cutter. But yeah, appreciate you watching.

A lot of stuff is quite easy and cheap when you have access to a workshop with few hundred thousand quid in gear and tools. I'm just not sure how many of us can replicate this.

Sure. Which is why (if you follow the vlogs since) you’d hear that now you can just buy the plates with the hole already in. It’s actually remarkably simple ;)

go to a lorry breakers yard ,pick up some brake discs :) bit ofs sand blastering and hammerite bore the hole bigger, job done, cheaper than inch thick sheets, edit ,of course if u want thinness thats a different matter

I haven’t man! But you can calculate it online with the calculators. They’re fairly accurate!! :)

I was thinking to buy some weight plates with standard hole because its cheaper and drill the hole olympic hole.. do you know if its possible. thank you! your video is awesome. here in spain are selling the same kind of plates kinda expensive!

You would be taking a few pounds off the weight... So probably smarter and cheaper to avoid diy with metal
