Cool video, an scenario I think you didn't covered. What happens in a case like Discord's (private company) and the company is bought pre-IPO, do your shares are buyed back in the adquisition process or transformed into common stock of the buyer?

Would depend on break down of acquisition. Some are cash only, some are stock only, some a mix of both.
This does not take into account that some companies take some average price of hiring the engineer in the area and the result of this is, you may not get that 200k salary in Georgia like you would in California.
Pretty good, for someone outside America , we don’t have these type of tax es or stock share 😂😂
