This is how Super-Sha'Carri won with the 4th fastest 100m in history @ Miramar Invitation 2023
Спорт
Sha’Carri Richardson had an exceptionally strong start to her 2023 season in South Florida. Participating in her first individual meet of the year (after running the 4x100 at the Texas Relays the previous weekend), Richardson achieved a time of 10.75 seconds (+2.8 wind) in the preliminary round. She followed it up with an impressive performance in the women's 100-meter final at the Miramar Invitational, finishing in first place with a time of 10.57 seconds (+4.1 wind). Although the tailwind exceeded the legal limit of 2.0 m/s, Richardson dominated the competition, which included Melissa Jefferson and TeeTee Terry, both among the top three finishers in last year's US championships. Terry finished far behind in second place with a time of 10.83 seconds, while no other women in the A final managed to break the 11-second mark. Richardson's time ranks as the fourth-fastest ever recorded for the 100-meter race under any weather conditions.

She'Carri's mechanics at top end speed are phenominal and worth study by males and females alike. She does all her work from 30-80m and then the job is done, she chills building up to speed, then mashes the gas, every one is dusted and then she lets out of it. Guys her Pb is 10.72 set back in 2021 at this Miramar complex. It is not 10.86 or 10.77. 10.77 would have been the time had there not been any wind and is only hypothetical since she would have to run under those conditions at 0m/s wind and register 10.77 for it to count. So it wouldn't be her Pb.
@BRChristiansen184h
Жыл бұрын
She "burst onto the scene" in 2019 winning the college championship with a legal record of 10.75. She was then 19 years old, or rather young.
The most impressive part about her race, time and wind aside, is how much she separates herself from the absolute best in America (with the exception of Hobbs). Look at how far she is ahead of TT, and look at how far TT is ahead of everyone else. This is an epic performance no matter what, because it’s showing ShaCarri is ahead of the Americans here more than the Jamaicans are usually ahead of them. It’s not saying she’s in better shape than the top three Jamaicans, but, it says the competition between she and they is looking very close and questionable at this moment. We can never discount the brilliance of Jamaica, but, it appears she stands out along with them. For example, TT is a 10.82 runner at her best, and this wind took her to a similar range. ShaCarri’s best is unknown, but she ran .3 faster than TT, wind or not and regardless of the time. Also, the fact she could run 10.57 with or w/o wind shows her body is able to do it, which automatically shoots down any claim Justin Gatlin was lying about what he says she does in practice. Windy or not, someone doesn’t just run this time unless their body is capable of it.

@@Sough EXACTLY! People, especially Jamaicans, want her to fail so badly that they’re taking something that just happened and claiming it’s a trend. It’s not a trend…it just “happened”! If this happens every single year from now on, okay, but, it only happens for a year and half, and last year she clearly was slower because she lifted tons of weights! Like, she should’ve been expected to be slow last year, just as the Jamaicans and everyone else is always slow when they are training in the beginning of their season. Like, what did she have, like three races or so before the championships? Even slow, she was running 10.8’s, which is better than most other runners have ever done in their life! People compare the success of ShaCarri to the shape of the TOP 3 Jamaicans, and claim she’s no good at the same time they congratulate folks who on their best day cannot beat ShaCarri on her worst. Clearly, it is Jamaican hatred.
super talented even though she is smaller than her opponets but she still prove that she is the fastest woman of the world today

Our Jamaican women have been warned. They have to watch out for Sha'carri Richardson. This woman is not constant in her races. But when she explodes it's a record. So, dears Shelly Frazer Price, Shericka Jackson and Briana William, you should get ready. You have to confront Sha'carri Richardson for the 100m, Gabbi Williams for the 200m and Laughlin for the 400m. Care of this.
I said beast mode and I knew it because I looked at her leg movement,and she's a beast ,I've been known it!!!!!😁👍
10.57 is the third fastest time in history. FloJo ran 10.49 and 10.54 windy twice, Elaine ran 10.54 legal, and here ShaCarri ran 10.57 windy here. Insane...especially given she probably would've run 10.50 flat here had she ran to the line and dipped...10.57 too 10.50 is just like a half-step/step difference at this speed.
How is the tailwind speed verified? Was the tailwind the same speed throughout the entire race? The beginning? The middle? The end? I need to know details.
She is a generational talent. Athleticism in its purest form.
She is going to do well with her training group. She just have to stay focus and keep it together with other female runners
Everyone I did find another point of reference. I looked at everyones PB's versus what they ran today. "PB W/A" is their PB with wind, and "Wind" is the windspeed on that PB with wind. Runner Time PB PB W/A Wind 1. Sha'Carri RICHARDSON USA 10.57 10.72 10.57 4.1 2. Twanisha TERRY USA 10.83 10.82 10.74 2.9 3. Natasha MORRISON JAM 11.05 10.87 4. Jada BAYLARK USA 11.08 11.04 10.83 2.8 5. Destiny SMITH-BARNET USA 11.09 11.06 10.94 3.0 6. English GARDNER USA 11.10 10.74 7. Javianne OLIVER USA 11.11 10.95 10.83 2.5 8. Melissa JEFFERSON USA 11.27 10.82 10.69 2.9 Perhaps the wind flared up when it was measured, because most atheletes don't seem to have recieved the wind assistance that She'Carri did because most did a better PB without wind.
Back to her original best... hopefully *'Shacarri Richardson'* will indeed continue this winning form...👏🏿💯 Lane Number (No.7) whomever that be...? Whom could one day dominate women's sprints. Her running mechanics be a perfect form to behold, a form in motion.... 💯👍🏿
