I just came from another video, and the comment section was rife with people telling everyone how they weren't really believers because they were still sinning. Like, sinning AT ALL. Lot of 1 John being quoted and so much judgment. I'm glad I found this. It made me go back and read Acts and Romans again.

With greatest respect and asked humbly… Please help! About four years ago, Wretched featured a video with Steve Lawson, 10 points to be sure we’re saved. In contrast, this video’s content, and much of the Word, other worship leaders, suggest differently. My only point?? It can be trying at times to truly understand and feel absolutely assured. Love your content, and grateful for it!

Im being torn apart by all 8 of these I think my only worry is that im not sure im growing as I should I my hunger and desire for God is not what it was when I first believed 8 years ago I have rare moments where im in worship and having joy in the Lord but I jsut think is this just emotions and not faith/Holy spirit etc is that 1 way satan can get us ? Ive been in so much confusion for 8 years

Satan will definitely use your emotions against you. The basis for your salvation is Jesus Christ and nothing else. As an emotional guy who's struggled myself. There has to come a point when you just take God at His word and say Jesus is enough. Doubts will still come but don't feed into them. Just go back to Jesus. Always remember the devil wants you to "feel" alone. You aren't alone, thousands of believers battle this issue. John Bunyan, John Wesley, Oswald Chambers, etc. just to name a few. Stand fast in His grace.
