Shapez.io is a minimalist factory building automation game inspired by Factorio! Optimization in its purest form, we must extract shapes from the source, cut them up in different ways, color them, and combine them with other shapes. Starts simple, gets increasingly complex due to the extreme shapes you must create and the infinitely expanding map.
Remember this game was made by just ONE PERSON! Go and show your support and buy this game, it's super cheap and super fun, which is an amazing combo for a game! It's on steam!

Really enjoyed this game, the whole conveyor and automation thing is real fun and addictive. Let me know if you want to see more by giving this video a like or leaving a comment! Peace, love and bridges!

I legit just watched a video that looked at this game and how it allows for learning about problem-solving and design. I am disappointed that this game doesn't allow for curve-y curves but I guess I'll survive.

Ya like factory games? play Mindustry! its free, has servers, has great mod support (bc its pretty much open source) and allows you to have vsync off so you can feel better about yourself when you see the current fps! No, mindustry is not a factorio copy...

The thing I love about this game is that it’s simple and you don’t have to pay for conveyors/machines, just click and drag.. wonderfully addicting!

Amazing how he goes out of his way to make sure we know he's an engineer before proceeding to employ absolutely zero engineering into a game all about engineering.

Decided to buy this game after watching your video. For $5 is a solid little organization game that appeals to why I like games like Factorio and Satisfactory but without all the added stress and overhead of those games.

Yeah it makes a nice change not having a budget and stuff. Good value game for sure!
This one's great, i've been playing this one for a while. There was actually an update to the game recently, added a bunch of levels, and a brand new wiring system. Like others have mentioned, factorio is really similar to this one, if you're looking for some games to play yourself or games for content, that's a great one.
Great... New addiction incoming :')
This game looks fiendishly addictive. I'm not even playing it and I'm addicted
(1) Big KZreadr getting some sponsored content, hype! Looks like a neet game. Reminds me of a phone game I played called assembly line where you had to do something similar. Anyway, great vid, hope you have a great day and take care. (I figured I might number my comments just to see how high we can go. Fun idea I came up with.)

I mean we can just see how many videos I've uploaded... haha commitment! Thanks slay dude!
This is a really fun game. IMO it gets even more fun when you try to balance things where you're calculating how many operations you need for X/second output and making optimizations (both in space and rate) A lot of people are suggesting Factorio (which is a bit more complex but a lot of fun), but I suggest playing through this fully first. This game has a lot of fundamentals that will be able to transfer.
5:45 I believe the technical term is "semi-hemi-circle." And, if you wanted an 8th of a circle, that would be a "demi-semi-hemi-circle."
hey RCE... been loving the content recently and I must say. I am really enjoying this game (or at least the demo) and me being kind of knowledgable in electronics I can definitely see the visible similarities between PCB boards and the factories you make in this game! thank you so much for introducing this to me and I will definitely buy the full steam one!

Love this game. Hope you make more videos! I’m very interested to see how your mind works building some of the more complex shapes.
I love this, it’s like watching a mellow SovietWomble play much more relaxing games.
You should play Factorio
You got this game a new player. Thankyou very much great video as always!
I so much love your humor and vibes!
u should continue playing this game! I love watching aliensrock play it and now u!!
One thing that I really love about your channel is your absolute dedication to including a phallus in every video. Always funny.
I'm pretty sure if you press "t" when placing a colour switch you can change the side that the colour can be inputted

such a good game! glad you started playing it!
Great video! Seems like a cool game, I would enjoy more!
This is one of my favorite games too watch
Yes definitely play more of this game
i didnt realize how much i needed a series of this game until now
incredibly chill and comfortable to listen to.
0:59 the strongest conveyor belt
I enjoyed watching this a lot!
i just bought the game after watching your vid, i have a love/hate relationship with these kinds of games. i love them because i love optimizing games like this. and i hate them because i cant stop playing
Been playing this for a few weeks, even have my own series on it, but I'm really exited to see another one of my favourite youtubers play it
I really like the aesthetic of this game (as well as the gameplay). When I played it the first time, the aspects all combined to give this vibe of timelessness - the smooth gradients and crisp edges, the clockwork mechanisms. At the time I think there was only one track ("Square"; best track IMO), playing forever. The field goes on forever. It felt like a place that had always existed and would always exist; no decay, no rot, no seasons, no day or night, nothing breaks down or runs out or corrodes. You could fall asleep there for a million years and when you woke up everything would be exactly as you left it, machines still quietly moving circles from one place to another, and not a single speck of dust would have fallen in the meantime. It was incredibly meditative.
this is essentially just a more casual version of Factorio. here you're building factories for the sake of puzzle solving whereas in Factorio you're working towards a set objective while dealing with alien attacks and the looming threat of running out of resources thus needing constant expansion. its a little overwhelming to get into but if youre up for a challenge i recommend it
I'm 1:40 in. As someone who has just managed to put satisfactory aside as I was procrastinating from work too much, I really didn't need to find this video
make a highway, it helps a lot (4 lanes on each side of the hub)
@RealTheScienceCat
Ай бұрын
then connect it with mergers?
If you play this game again the idea of going further out into the world is going to be a good thing to get use to like pre plan 4 lane highway and have your production connect to the highway with balancers until you get further it’s smart to pre plan ahead
I'm new to thé channel and just watched thé video and i love thé game and it's addictive to watch it love al your vids keep doing this work loves man
This is p much mindustry without PvE, and a really clean and simple interface. Nice
This is literally mindustry. Just simplfied.
I played this game as it's web form, and yes it is free online but it's kind of like a demo but I remember just how good it felt when I made something work. But the best part weirdly enough was making everything better, I can't explain why this was so nice but I loved going trough my older macians and just making them better and smaller. Also it's really weird how as something gets smaller it became much more relaxing and fun to just sit back and watch it. I know it gets quite complex but each part of the game is explained so well and is extremely clear how to get there, it's mainly just finding a way that worked best.
I prefer Factory Idle. If you haven't seen it, it's similar to this, but instead of the difficulty coming from where the resources are, it instead is from the fact that you are actually putting rectangular machines inside of non-rectangular buildings.
Game looks neat, I would watch a whole series of this game actually
Oh my god I bought this game yesterday only to be casual and I'm already 12 hours in and taking pride of my 8-threaded stacking machine and others
0:59 the brandmark has returned!
I could watch you play this forever.
Nice video i really like it.
This game is really good. I would love to see some more
Please, please do more commentary over this game. It was so satisfying
bro i could watch you play this for days lmao
We need more of these
If you'd like to play this again I'd definitely watch it!
Nice vid my man
Shapez is just so addicting. Little Tipps. Hold shift to drag conveyors faster and build more of one building at once.
This is the perfect game for starting out with factory games. Now you're ready for games like Factorio and Satisfactory where you have to manage power, resource input, and more complex ratios and production lines.
You gotta do more of this
This is insanely addicting... Super simple concept... Just pure blizz trying to nitpick for more and more effecieny...
Very addictive indeed, I could've kept on watching for hours 😂

its based on Factorio and its way more complicated and fun that the game that you are playing good video anyways !

Not every factory game is based on Factorio
You should TOTALLY play Mindustry, especially when v2.0 launches.
I found this from a video that wasn't like this, recommended WHILE I was playing the exact same game!!!!!!!!!!
a very satisfactory video! :)
As someone with the same name as the creator of this game, I really appreciate your pronunciation of it
In my head it'll always be pronounced "shay-PEHZ-eeoh"
Shapez 2 looks amazing!

Love this game
0:58 Hm
My god, have you played Dyson Sphere Program.... you would love it.
Every engineer or even students who want to be an engineer will be an addict to this game
I can't help but smirk a bit about that compact balancer example in the end, considering it takes up the exact same amount of space. I know the compact one comes in handy when it's a perpendicular input, but it makes no difference in space used when the inputs are parallel, seeing as you still need to place a curve next to it :)
That's fucking great dude! Make more please haha
More of this game please
love this game. wow it's been 3 yrs already. i guess he didn't notice the variant on the painter haha. this is the most messy design I've seen wow.
Btw, with the painters you can press T to change the side which the paint comes in
FYI, painter has two variants that reverse the side the ink input is on, makes it much better than having to go around like 10:40
You should try compacting machines when you get things and improved items
This game is very addictive, and the music is way better than it needs to be :D
TRY MINEDUSTRY!!!! it's kinda like this but with more color and a little bit more hard
@RealCivilEngineerGaming

Thanks, I'll take a look for sure!
I haven't played this yet, but what was with the kcok that showed up at 57 seconds ? Did you do that or is that part of the game ?
You can link all the squares into one extraction point this will save alot more space and be more efficient
Try the game big pharma. Its the same kind of making conveyors with modifiers, while trying to be as efficient as possible, but keeping cost and space use low while making profit. Theres a lot of management of efficiency and diminishing returns and the like.
I also love this game. I start from free version on vebsite shapez.io and buy later. Now i stil waiting for next update (adding new staf). The best upgrade is lev12 Blueprint.
if you put a extractor going into the back or side of another extractor then you can increase how much it mines and if you hold SHIFT and hold you can do a outline for your belts
@felixjuanmanuelsoto8451
