Pasar Tani - Farmer’s Market, used to be a concept for farmers to sell their fresh produce Pasar Malam - Night Market, mainly food and clothes and accessories. Normally once a week at certain locations Pasar Pagi - Morning Market, selling breakfast items and fresh produce Pasar Minggu- Weekend Market, normally on Sunday with assorted items on sale from second-hand clothes to snacks Pasar/Bazaar Ramadhan - Ramadhan Market which normally starts around 4pm during Ramadhan month, with snacks and food for break fasting for the day Yes, there are alot of Pasar in Malaysia, some bigger than others, some has more interesting food than others… Enjoy!!

Why dont you diversify your video contents. It is now mostly about food. What about the history, culture of the different races and beautiful hidden places all over Malaysia.

The biggest, longest Pasar Tani in Malaysia is in Temerloh, Pahang on Sunday, perhaps Jimmy and iChang can come again to Temrrloh and taste local kuih and delicacies

You're right Jimmy. That milk has nostalgic feelings everytimes you drinks it. I love it as a child, and I also love it as an adult. I crave the taste. But the store near me do not sell it anymore because they always got the product in a messy state. So I can only find this milk in a Pasar Malam or Sunday Morning Market. I always remember how my father would always buy this milk for all of our family member. We have 11 family member including my parents, so It was noisy like a party every time my father bought the milk. Good old days memories.

8:11 In Kedah there's a restaurant that serves bbq everything with rice and curry for breakfast only. By 11-12pm they already close. Then, there are nasik lemak ayam crispy in Ampang that opens only dinner time. We Malaysians are just crazy like that Jimmy.

I laugh when Jimmy says he is hungry. 😂. I then imagine IChang telling him to slow down or else he will pass out🤭. I agree with Jimmy's selections today. Fried cempedak😋😋. Wonder if Jimmy did buy the false cockroach to prank IChang?.. or did IChang use the broom on him 😂😂😂

Yes Jimmy that's traditionally what wajik taste. It has those texture as you bite into it. You are meant to eat it little by little as it is so sweet. It's very hard labour tradional kuih

Yes it is very hard labor kueh and also breakfast for people doing hard labor works during the morning hahaha.. You gotta need to burn that tonne of calories. Never check your blood sugar level after eating wajik or your doctor will prescribe you as diabetic hahahaha..

Yes wajik suppose to be hard and extremely sweet. We eat wajik like a chocolate, just only 1 bite and keep it. Its sticky rice but its sweet, not savory. Older generation in kampung they dont have sweets or chocolate for sugar craving, so the made wajik.

The milk you just got there, back then in the primary school days, i think once in a year, kids will get a list of order given by the seller to all the classes, so you can take the list to your home, tick any flavour that you want and the next day you bring that list with money to school to buy it.

hi jimmy..u should try to coming to Pekan Sehari Temerloh ( morning market) in every Sunday Morning 7.00am-1.00pm.. just looks like this video but more Kampung Products (Fish,kuih,and food). Mybe u should come at Saturday to see Elephant at Pusat Konservasi Gajah Kebangsaan at Kuala Gandah, Lanchang then go eat Ikan Patin Tempoyak for lunch at Temerloh, for night u can enjoy Night Market (Car boot Sales and Bazar Karat) at Temerloh town and Sunday morning to Pekan Sehari Temerloh... ❤❤

wajik very rare to find…wajik always can find when malay wedding…but now its hard to see in malay wedding..So sad kids nowdays also doesnt know wajik..

people that live in urban area love Pasar Tani because moest of the times, some vegetable or herb are hard to find, they can only be found on rural area. For example, the umbut kelapa, really tasty to be cooked with curry dishes

Wajik is a common malay dessert not to any particular state. Its commonly found throughout Malaysia.

Jimmy & iChang can try explore other than Malaysia's menu. We have the whole world's cuisines in Malaysia that you guys don't have to travel oversea.

We’re lucky that Jimmy has a good appetite as we can see him trying (and savouring) all sorts of delicious looking food within an hour or two and within a radius of less than a mile 😂😋

Malay version of naan. I call it roti tempayan, famous in kelantan also. Different from indian and mamaks nan. The roti softer and eat with curry/gulai chiken, beef and mutton.

The pulut that you ate is called wajik. The sweetness depends on the maker and if I am not mistaken that the texture is usually like that..supposedly not too hard and not too mushy...atleast that is how from where I live

Wah you came to shah alam! During ramadan (puasa) there’s a big bazaar, maybe you can come next year 😊 (pls come early to avoid crowds haha). You also can bring along picnic mat and berbuka there (around the indoor stadium) or after buying you can go berbuka at Dataran Kemerdekaan shah alam, huge field with beautiful view of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque. Maybe after berbuka you can explore the mosque! Make sure to wear suitable clothing yaa 😊

Jimmy you should try cempedak goreng at pasar malam Kepong Baru which open every Sunday, must go earlier because it usually sold out very fast😅

Weekend morning market is like the chillest place to be. Buy fresh groceries. Listen to live music buskers. Sometime we get those random trinkets or antiques shop. And just eat. Eat first when you arrive or before you leave. And always eat street foods while browsing.

Tempat jatuh lagikan dikenang, inikan pula tempat bermain. Rindunyaa zaman degree, selalu pergi sini almost every weekend dengan housemates

Hi Jimmy & iChang, a little suggestion here for both of you where besides having delicacies like nasi lemak and etc, feel free to have a routine of blood test check(e.g. maybe every 6 months or at least once a year) for personal health monitoring purpose. Especially the bad cholesterol-LDL should be one of the index to be focus as if it is too high, might potentially caused heart attack or stroke in future. I'm having a high level of LDL that exceed the boarder reference value, that's why I'm taking steps to reduce it, so that one day i could safely eat back nasi lemak without worry again. No offence ya
