Can we omit the word beauty from this particular procedure.. As a lifelong sufferer of hyperhydrosis - especially of my hands, I wouldn't consider it a beauty treatment being able to take care of this.

Richelle Jordan i know. I lived with sweaty armpits most of my life until i was given drysol. I thought it wasnt going to work. I use to hide from friends in the summer n had to stay home. So depressin. I used drysol over night with sulafan covering it as i slept. It didnt work the first day. But i kept applying it at night for 3 or 5 days n finally it worked. I cant explain how happy i was. I used it for mayb a month more n my skin started to burn. I stoped using it n years later all i have been using is regular deoderant n im stil bone dry. So happy. I just recently noticed my 13 year old is sweating now under his arms. He never did until about a month ago. I beleive it could b hereditary. So im going to take him to his doctor n c if he can get drysol. . So fyi just watch ur kids to c if they get it because i thought it was so embarrassing i couldnt tel anyone n it was depression.

I have hyperhidrosis and because of my heart issue and anxiety disorder, it's so much worse. Mine is different than hers, mine isn't necessarily targeted only at my armpits, but also at my under boobs, feet, scalp, hands, and entire back, so the sweat is widely dispersed. Trust me, it's not just lots of sweat, it's hell. I always have two deodorant sticks in my bag, one in my locker, two spray ons in my PE locker, and like a million at home. It's so embarrassing, i think when I truly realised it was a huge problem, was when TWO of my teachers emailed my mum after having complaints from students. I broke down crying and all day I'm wiping my sweat, applying layer after layer of deodorant, sometimes I keep towels in my shirt, or don't even wear a bra so it doesn't collect. I can't even exercise or just go out because the sweat is CONSTANT. People are rude to me, call me lazy, say I'm just over exaggerating and that everyone sweats, but they don't get it. I'm naturally a modest person, so because I like to be covered, everything has to be baggy, and if I happen to wear a sleeveless shirt, I have to wear a long cardigan over. If you have hyperhidrolys, I'm here for you. We are an unspoken community. I love and respect you, sweaty gals for life. Edit!! I have incredibly sensitive skin and cysts, so because of my profuse sweating I get bad cysts in my underarms. Does anyone have reccomendations for that? I have shitty ass skin and I'm desperate, I'm sick of not being able to move my arms or wear short sleeved shirts.

moira Hi :) I’ve had hyperhydrosis all my life too, specifically really badly on my hands and feet. I’m sure you’ve maybe looked into all your options, but I just thought I’d ask, have you ever thought of having a bilateral sympathectomy? It’s a treatment for hyperhydrosis that I had 4 years ago now, and although full results aren’t 100% guaranteed , it has significantly reduced my sweating by 75%. I get that not everyone wants to go the surgical route but I really resonated with your comment and thought I’d share. I think it’s really cool that we can relate to others with hyperhydrosis, because no one really understands unless they have it. Hope your day is good and the rest of your life for that matter, don’t let anything hold you back, and I know, that’s A LOT easier said than done(:

This kind of video should really include an idea of price. I realize that location and insurance may have a big impact on the final price tag for any given person/situation, but even providing a general idea, or a price range, or the price this particular person paid, would make a video like this much more informative.

When I looked into it for my daughter, it was in the $2500-$3000 range. I think it'd be hard to put the prices in, because it's different all over. The parts of the country you live in will vary greatly. In New York for example it'd be the highest. Also, I think she was just showing the treatment itself, the process & if it worked for her.

You wrote that yourself? wow congrats dude, really, that's very cool. i just told everyone in my family about it, everybody thinks that's very impressive and asked me to congratulate you. they want to speak to you in person, if possible, to give you their regards. they also said they will tell our distant relatives in christmas supper and in NYE they will ignite fireworks that spell your name. i also told about this enormous deed to closer relatives, they had the same reaction. they asked for your address so they can send congratulatory cards and messages. my friends didn't believe me when i told them i knew the author of this gigantic feat, really, they were dumbstruck, they said they will make your name echo through years and years to come. when my neighbour found out about what you did, he was completely dumbstruck too, he wanted to know who you are and he asked (if you have the time, of course) if you could stop by to receive gifts, congratulations and handshakes. with the spreading of the news, a powerful businessman of the area decided to hire you as the CEO of his company because of this tremendous feat and at the same time an important international shareholder wants to sponsor you to give speeches and teach everybody how to do as you did so the world becomes a better place. you have become famous not only here but also everywhere, everybody knows who you are. the news spread really fast and mayors of all cities are setting up porticos, ballons, colossal boom speakers, anything that can make your name stand out more and see which city can congratulate you the hardest for this magnificent feat.

There are many people, just that it is not talked about. I have Hyperhidrosis and only my family, boyfriend and 1 friend i told known i have it. It is costly and time consuming treatments for hyperhidrosis😑 And, because it affects my hands ,feet and underarms, i avoid many things. Such as wearing sandals, shaking hands outside in summer. Only shake hands indoors in a cold room, etc. Yet, i know im other people have it worse ...

And nope no yellow stains i noticed, but i usually just put it on at nite. It stings a bit and sometimes i have to put it on a second or third time the following days but after that it typically lasts me a month before reapplying. A bottle can last me for a year or more and the cost is under 20$. I can put it on my face-useful if u wear makeup and dont want to sweat it off, underarms, crotch, anywhere tbh. And i still put on normal deodorant but i noticed after i stopped sweatinng as much odor is lessened but I also dont get smelly when i sweat.

I have it on my hand palms and feet as well, and it is definitely not fun.. imagine if you have to dry your hands on your clothes every time you shake someone’s hand. Imagine to be scared that people will see all that sweat on your palms and say it’s gross, and then make fun of you. You are really lucky if you don’t have this problem, trust me. Sorry if there are any grammar faults in this, English is not my first language. Please correct me if I say something wrong😁 ( btw while I’m typing this, my hands are sweaty as hell lmao )

I have hyperhidrosis... it wrecks my life, I don’t feel comfortable touching people, handing them things, and I am stressed because I have a dancing unit coming up as part of my education curriculum. And the worst thing is when people touch you and then say “OMG your hands are so sweaty,” and then you end up sweating more. This make me more self conscious and then when your friends tell you to stop having sweaty hands and your like “I have hyperhidrosis” and then their like “wait what” and “I’ll go search it up”. They don’t understand. People don’t understand. And I’m also not the smallest person on earth so these things combined make me so self conscious

I’ve been hiding my underarms for a couple of years now. I sweat so much. I’ve been put on pills to dehydrate me so I don’t sweat as much. I can’t wear light colored shirts. Can’t wear formal clothes. I have to change through 2 or 3 shirts a day. It’s embarrassing to have someone point it out. No matter the amount or strength of my antiperspirant. No matter how many times I wipe my underarms a day. I can’t go through a single day without drenching my shirts. Even in the winter time when it is 5 degrees. 😢

It sweats so much that you can see the sweat drip from my palm to the tip of my finger and drip down and its disgusting. I had surgery at a Toronto hospital a few years ago for my hyperhidrosis. Not that anyone else suffers less, but the surgeon actually confirmed I was the worst case he's ever seen: My hands were so wet from the constant sweating they looked pruney like when you go swimming. I had Botox injections done in my hands when it first came out and I was only in grade 10. Nothing worked. My life changed when I met my surgeon. He literally cut the nerves causing sweat to my upper body, particular the hands and underarms. Google it! It's called a sympathectomy (bilateral) and it absolutely changed my life. I personally wrote a hand written note for my doctor in the months to follow, detailing exactly how he changed my life for the better and how grateful I am eternally. Ps. I literally remember my life as pre-sympathectomy and post-sympathectomy... That's what I mean by life changing!! 🙏 Happy to provide any info if you would like!! 🙂

For anyone that has Hyperhidrosis, I got fed up trying to find a medical solutions and tried methods to help my lifestyle. I eventually placed ladies period pads under my armpits. It works amazingly. I think it must stop the negative spiral somewhat. Normally..sweat, armpit get wets, gets cold, sweats more, spiral. Now... sweat, swear absorbed into pad, no spiral. Most of the time that is. It may sound a bit strange for some people but it works amazingly for me. Place the pad into the armpit of your shirt. Sorry I don't have any solutions for people who sweat elsewhere on the body. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing...I knew a fifteen year old girl who was so self conscious because of this condition. She would only wear tank tops, because that would allow her underarm perspiration to drip down her sides, and arms, rather than stain her shirt. I also saw her frequently “checking” her underarms, for wetness, by swiping a finger across them. One time at a friend’s baseball game, I guess she was so excited about the outcome, she had dinner-plate sized “patches” encircling the lower part of her tank top. I felt so sorry for her, as she attempted, but, unsuccessfully, to hide the stains, by clamping down with her arms. No way that her bone-thin arms could conceal her enormous sweat patches...

The treatment immediately reduces sweating for the first month and slowly starts to increase. Although many people do still sweat after the first treatment, it is usually less than before. If it is still a problem, a second treatment should wipe out the rest of the sweat.

I have been suffering with this exact issue in hands, feet, underboob, and armpits since 5th grade. Touching people (in a handshake or holding hands) is an utter nightmare, not just because of the embarrassing moisture, but the icy cold clamminess that comes with it. I would love to get this procedure done, but my main concern is the fabled issue where when one sweat area is turned off in the body, another one shows up out of nowhere. Those who know of or have had this procedure, have you experienced/witnessed any areas that suddenly begin sweating post-treatment?

So for my entire adult life I have never been comfortable wearing anything with sleeves. Sweat stains were my biggest fear. I have tried everything but the fear of the chemicals in those products was too great. Enter dermadry. I found the system really intimidating the first time. But it’s so easy and virtually painless. I’m using it once a week and I’d say I have noticed an incredible improvement. I can’t wait for fall to see if I can wear T-shirts’ and sweaters without sweating through everything.

Also, I didn’t want to put all kinds of chemicals on my body. I constantly struggled with my wardrobe since I didn’t want huge pit stains on my clothes and I felt embarrassed all the time! Buying Dermadry has saved my life!!! I noticed results after a week and after two weeks I had NO MORE sweat stains at all! Not even a tiny one and it is currently Summer and really hot here. Before using Dermadry I could just lay in bed relaxing and end up with sweat stains on my shirt. I usually do my treatments while I sit in bed and watch tv before I go to bed. Super easy! I strongly recommend this to everyone that is struggling with excessive sweating! You have nothing to loose and a whole other perspective on life and freedom to gain!

I suffered from hyperhidrosis from the ages of 11 - 18 and it really impacted my confidence during those crucial teenage years. It was a viscious cycle as mine would also increase with nerves and I would get so worried about my hyperhidrosis that it often made it 10x worse. I would be afraid to put my hand up in class and was almost stopping me from choosing the career of my choice. I tried a whole lot of different clinical strength antipersprants and almost seriously considered botox injections etc. I tried a product called maxim and after the first use, it stopped my hyperhydrosis which was unbelievable!!! I honestly couldn't beleive after all those years I found my cure. I did find it caused severe itching especially after using it directly after shaving, but the sensitive version worked just as well with less itching side affects (and avoiding using it after shaving - sometimes i would go a week without shaving as at the start you should apply it every day for a week but hey a bit of armpit hair is nothing compared to the freedom of not sweating like a maniac). If you want a cheaper alternative then I highly suggest trying it!

For folks out there with hyperhidrosis on areas other than underarms: You may try iontophoresis for your hands and feet. My best friend has hyperhidrosis that presents in his hands and feet so I was a little disappointed this permanent procedure seems to be just for underarms (it's a start though!). It sends an electrical current into pans that you must fill with water. Then you put one hand into each pan for about 15 minutes. Same idea with the feet. With an iontophoresis machine (he has a "Fischer Model MD-2 Galvanic Unit") you can watch tv while doing the treatment on your hands and feet. It is well tolerated as long as you don't ratchet it up to highest setting and be patient while finding the right setting for you. Start lower and work your way up. You may start off doing more treatments per week until you start seeing results and then, depending on your individual needs, only need to do upkeep treatments (like once or twice a week). You might start sweating few hours or so right after treatment so use it on a chill day where you're not going out. Whatever the case, keep looking for a solution if your hyperhidrosis is affecting you and making you unhappy.

For everyone out there, I recommend reading this book and doing the flushes, your sweating will go away. Sweating too much comes from the liver because there are a lot of toxins and the liver can’t get rid of them so they can cause issues like excess sweating, pimples, allergies, indigestion etc.. I assure you your sweating will either completely go away or almost completely. Book is “The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder flush” by Andreas Moritz.

And it worsens over time and I'm currently in secondary school and yes, I usually refrain myself from doing any activities that require me to move a lot ( exercises and so on) bcs I don't want the sweat stains to show on my armpits and it's much more worse when I'm wearing my uniform (yes, I live in a country that requires the students to wear uniforms) bcs it's much more visible since my uni's colour is white and once the sweat stains dry up, it's almost impossible to rid of them and I would have to buy a new uni bcs of this. Not to mention, this condition really messes up and lowers my self-esteem and it made it hard for me to interact with others bcs I don't want to see them giving me those hurtful looks like I usually get. Oh I forgot to mention that I live on a tropical island that is usually hot and humid for most of the times. My life is a living hell on earth.

I got this done. My sweat stopped 50 percent. Also, I’ve developed an infection in my armpit. My dermatologist said it was a very deep pimple and now I have to be on antibiotics for 2 weeks. It’s quite large, red, and hurts. I’m not happy.

@@pockystick8557 For the first few weeks, I did not have sweating but it slowly started coming back, but definitely not as bad as it used to be. After the numbing wore off, I was in pain for 2 days. Ice packs will be your best friend. Swelling slowly subsided after a couple weeks. The procedure damaged my hair follicles (thank god) so I don’t grow as much hair. Considering a second treatment and hopefully it’ll completely get rid of the sweating.

I have hyperhidrosis not as bad as her but still horrible. The sweating is just a nightmare you can't wear the clothes you want you can't hug people you always have to change clothes and shower😧🙄 Since I'm broke as hell I would probably not get this procedure done but maybe botox injections which isn't that expensive but you need to do it more often 😆

MiraDry is like $1.5 to $4k depending on how you shop around. Botox is generally $1k for 50 units per armpit, but it only lasts 6 to 10 months. IDK, I’ve been doing my research, and it just seems more worth it to get the MiraDry procedure done and just permanently get rid of my armpit sweat glands. 😭

I had hyperhidrosis (I would sweat even in 30° weather) but not as bad as this girl. Doctor prescribed a sort of antiperspirant and it used to work but I stopped using it because I would just forget to pick it up at the pharmacy whenever I needed a refill. A few months after I stopped using it, my sweating problem disappeared :l

I have the same problem with my armpits, what I do to avoid it from showing is wearing specific colors and fabrics. Fabrics are very important, sweat will show a lot in a red cotton tee, but it will not show if it's another material. Also I find that if its has a pattern on it, no matter the colors, the sweat will not show. Those are some tips that have worked for me, they could definitely work for many of you too ❤ Of course summer clothes are better too, because there is a wider opening at the armpit in some t-shirts, so the sweat doesn't even reach the fabric etc. Don't let this make you feel sad, you are better than this. The only problem I have is that if someone wants to hug me, if I'm on a date for example, he might feel the sweat and that's embarassing. No one has ever said anything to me though, no one rejected me for that. It's human and it's normal and you can just learn to live with it. Before you go into surgery just try those tips 😘

I need something like this for my hands and feet. I’ve tried iontophoresis, drysol, carpe, even anxiety medication. Nothing has worked. I dread shaking peoples hands because they get so disgusted. I literally have to buy new shoes every few week because my feet get so sweaty my shoes end up stinking. This issue plays a big role with my lack of self esteem unfortunately.
