This is How Devon Larratt Upgraded His Arm Strength To The Next Level!

Спорт

Devon Larratt, a renowned arm wrestler, is no stranger to pushing his arm strength to new heights of excellence. With impressive wins and titles under his belt, he has undoubtedly proven his dominance in the sport.
However, while his arm strength may continue to evolve and reach unprecedented levels, it can be argued that Larratt's hand already resides at the pinnacle of its capabilities.
In an arm wrestling match, the grip strength and wrist control are paramount factors determining victory or defeat. Devon has consistently showcased exceptional hand power and precision, allowing him to overpower opponents with ease.
His training regimen likely includes specific exercises targeting these crucial areas, solidifying them as assets that complement and enhance his formidable overall arm strength.
As a result, Larratt's competitors must acknowledge and respect not only the sheer force exerted by his arms but also the unwavering grip that grants him unparalleled control throughout each exhilarating bout.

People forget that John was 250 lbs when he faced Devon in 2021. That's the biggest he's been since his comeback, and basically 20 lbs more than his usual competing weight these days (~230 lbs). And not only was John bigger than usual, but Devon had not been properly training due to his boxing match with Thor. So people are really overrating that first round where John nearly brought Devon to the pad. John was bigger than usual, and Devon was weaker than usual. John has even said multiple times that Devon is a different animal now compared to when they pulled in 2021.

His supplementation regimen in addition to the stem cells is a huge topic. We'll never know exactly what he changed our how much he took of what because strength athletes never reveal all their secrets. But a big part of larratt's training philosophy comes from building connective tissue strength as well as muscle strength. He credits Strolling Under the Skin video (it's on yt) as igniting his insights into this philosophy. And he's right, it's very interesting & thought-provoking stuff!

Ermes can’t pull without his hand?😂 Look up Ermes vs Levan my uneducated friend. Devon simply has enough length to climb around his pronation. His pronation is what allows him to pull without his hand, like we saw every single ready go vs Levan

@joeglue Technically you're right but that's not what I meant. John surged to the side and lost his wrist but continued to surge to the pad without his wrist(no flop press) However, Ermes surged to the side, lost wrist into an immediate FLOP which Devon countered perfectly

  • @joeglue

@@clarenceg3106 you didn’t read my answer brother. I’m referring to Ermes vs Levan at KOTT6. Not Devon vs Ermes at east vs west 9. Devon sent Ermes into a full press due to leverage and his ability to secure full cup & pronation above Ermes. Against Levan, Ermes was using his world record back pressure along with his pronation & kickback to keep Levan from being able to fully cup down on him because without cup Levan is significantly easier to pull and he doesn’t have a press option. His wrist was way back, but he was pulling not pressing. Ermes wasn’t “pushing” at all until round 5 when Levan started to expose his own bicep and gave ermes a wedge to push through. Then, of course, Bill Collins robbed us of the most historic pin in armwrestling.

@joeglue I totally understand but let's forget levan for a sec and compare Devon vs Brzenk(kott2 Round 1) with Devon vs Ermes (EvW9 round 2). I'm assuming both John and Ermes' levers are very close give or take how come Ermes' wrist went POP! but John's didn't and continued surging to the pad? I'm saying John can continue surging to the pad without his wrist Ermes on the other hand was forced to flop press.

@@clarenceg3106 I get how you could see that from the matches, but hell no lol. I love John. I’m actually arguing on his behalf with all the autistic Voevoda sacksuckers right now. He’s the greatest athlete maybe ever in 1-on-1 sport history. But at no point in the past 7-8 years has he been within 10% of the current superheavyweight world-level. Devon’s center-table arm-strength has probably increased by like 40-50% since that match, to the degree that he’s hooking Chaffee & Genadi fresh, toying with Ermes’ wrist, etc. 2023 Devon is leaps and bounds stronger than any prior version since his first surgery that ended his double world #1 reign. I believe if he trained center table at all in 2019-2021 instead of only the bottom 20% of the kings move he may have been able to take round 5/6 from Levan himself.

I think Devon is a little stronger than 2018 but this time Devon was smarter....Devon had a plan because I think Devon knew he can not take on Denis straight up with power ..I think even in today's Denis ..The power is more than what Devon though it would be ...Devon and Denis both knew that Devon will win ..Denis to me I think wanted to know where he stands strength wise ......and he found out he cam a little short .Devon did not just slam Denis down or should I say school him like Denis did Devon in 2018 ...Denis did have some resistance ....Congrats to Devon ..take it while you can because I think you just woke up the beast in Denis .....Denis will be back smarter and stronger ........Who ever is next i feel sorry for them ..Denis will be to much for you ..

Levan would have lost two rounds that day in the east vs west foul format because two fouls are a loss. Levan would have won 4-2 but this time he wouldn't have to give up because the rounds would already be complete.

He didn't upgrade it, everyone else were downgraded due to age, health and/or injury. He lost to Genadi, he got destroyed by Levan ... just give it a reat. The level is boring now. Devon's prime was 10 years ago, John is a grandpa, Levan is invincible, Denis post injury is a shadow of his former self ...
