This is How Bright Low Grade Light Sources Are in Rust! One is Better!

Ойындар

They are dirt cheap to run consuming only 10 low grade per hour, but 1 of them is actually pretty bright and noticeably brighter than the others. Between the Chinese lantern, the regular lantern, and the tuna can lamp, which do you think is the brightest?

1 nice advantage of the china lamp is that you can place it on ceilings

I like the Chinese Lantern because it's easier to light the area you want from above, as opposed to putting regular lanterns near the walls on your deployables, or tripping over them on the floor. I usually skip it entirely and go straight to electric lighting so I'm not burning lgf for lighting.

Would have been nice if facepunch made a skin for the tuna lamps with that new diver pack... So that we could kinda have placed that underwater torch on walls

1 lgf lasts the whole night in the lantern. So I always prep 1 in the lantern during the day so I can just switch it on when night comes.

It's in rust options that make light seen from outside.... Lower the graphic... More light they can see from outside

In stone or above can't see any of these 3 from outside, but flashlights are like x-rays shine right thru walls, electric lights also very bright from outside, candles are prob best bet

@spectreofchar not true. If you turn (I believe) shadows down to 0, light sources glow through walls. This is good for base lighting your base better, seeing lights from outside on enemy bases, and seeing for campers from outside of you have a light on

@@BigRog203 I've tested this with my settings on potato, I've seen electric lights from outside, campfires, (need to test industrial lights don't have that dlc), hobo barrels, flashlights, torches, but could not see candles, lamps, tuna can L, chinese lamps, again this was stone and above, straw and wood both have cracks, also putting up more then one wall, or a upper floor blocks more light from these then a 1v1, ie layers

Do they not cost lgf to craft and need to be refracted when their durability runs out?
