The expression on Earl's face when Layne axes him is priceless. They are all extraordinary in this. Layne's little silly run while they circumnavigate the pumpkin stack was perfect and helped define his character. Just amazing...as usual.

Its probably pre-recorded, however, I must say, it is easier than it looks to sing with vampire fangs in. I'm typically a mezzo range but I can do bass somewhat and I performed with vampire fangs in a few times. Long story.

According to Peter Barber (another bass with a YT channel, who does reactions to the videos) ALL the vocals are pre-recorded. That's how they get such complex sound. Geoff is singing AND doing basslines because they record the solo as one track, then the bassline as another track. Same for Layne's insane beatboxing - he can do multiple tracks.

The makeup is just insanely awesome! Eli's face at 3:24 - my first thought was "Do NOT take a bowl of chili from him. That's the face of a man with human body parts in his freezer. And under his bed."

@juice box Earl is the bearded guy who loses his hair. Eli is the guy who holds out that last long note. Geoff is the vampire bass. Layne is the beatboxing devil with an axe. J is the rather bouncy werewolf. Hope this helps!

I saw oogie boogie song and was like yeah they're pretty good, then i saw this and was sold..... I love geoff's vampire voice, the "whisper fry"

Totally amazing for the entire group! Makeup, transformation while still singing very smoothly and effortlessly!! Love it!!

I love Pentatonix but I love Voiceplay more. Because the beatboxer and bass do the arrangements, they’re good about giving each voice a chance to shine and you can feel it. Avi might never have left if they’d given him more or more variety.

Love how everyone turns into a super campy silly playful monster except Geoff who somehow transforms into the vampire version of Christopher Walken's Hessian and is here to haunt your nightmares.

Honestly Geoff looks really good with just the eyes lol

The song is utterly amazing but I’m just in awe of the makeup team having to do their jobs piecemeal like that. Also just how smooth this all is with the video editing and the singing, and also the reactions the transformations and characterisation throughout the song is amazing.
