2 things. 1st - he recorded this BEFORE hitting 1 million. Probably before "Hi Ren." In some of his interviews he said he was worried after the reception of Hi Ren that people would expect every song he ever released to be deep and emotion, and he knew what he had prepared to release while he was getting treatment in Canada. So no worries about him getting too commercial with his current success. He had already written, recorded, and produced these bangers just flexing on his rap/hip hop skills... 2nd - my conspiracy theory is that the body in the trunk will be the opening scene of Money Game Part 3.

I agree on the guy in the trunk being the guy for Money Game pt 3 but everyone is saying that Ren said he is the guy the pig had tied up in Animal Farm. Maybe they will use him for both! And I also saw that Love Music pt 4 is coming next but no one knows if Ren next after this song or after Money Game pt 3 cuz he had already told us that Money Game 3 was coming next before. Doesn't really matter cuz this is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and I just want to get the entire Sick Boi album in my hand to play on repeat! 😋

Yes, this was 100% recorded and filmed before Hi Ren, and, as one of the other people said, the guy that got chloroformed is the same guy tied up in Animal Flow

This was filmed before Hi Ren and Animal Flow.. the guy he kidnapped is the guy being tied up in the Animal Flow video.. the only videos he filmed after Hi Ren was Suicide, for Joe and Money Game 3 (which will drop next month). The pig is in all the videos that will be on his Sick Boi album.. which has 17 tracks.. and we have only heard 7 of them.. he will also be dropping the album next month

Guy spotting at the beginning, was also in the car of Losing it which is Viktus who plays the pig and features on Down on the Beat He also did this because he got so much grief with YT with the song Suicide where he had to add an exclamation mark so wanted to make a point. He’s not going mainstream, the recent tracks are from the upcoming album Sickboi which is a hiphop album that he did to push himself outside the box. Primarily he’s a busker, or at least that’s where his roots are. 🖤

Thanks for your reaction to Murderer! I do indeed think it will go far. Ren is a master story teller and he's a great actor. He can take on any personality his songs call for. He is the best, most multi-talented entertainer I've ever seen! I suspect he will drop a few more parts to Murderer as it feels like he has just begun this role. The music's beat is really really catchy, so it should have no trouble getting played. I totally love it. I think we will all have to stay tuned for Murderer Part II. The talented artist who videographed Murderer is named Luke Flegg. Luke also filmed Animal Flow in another one-take masterpiece. 💜

Sinister but boppin. So Ren. Great song and reaction. I think this 90s-esque hip hop with reggae vibes is an homage to Barrington Levy (and his "Murderer"). All braggadocious and flexing. Coincidentally a great drop while hitting 1M. Awesome! I don't know if it's actually a one-take, but the final result is a masterfully done, seemless video that feels real, which is scary since it's about a criminal. I also think it's interesting that YT has no problem with the word Murderer, but does have issue with Suic*de. Hmmm...

Very well done reaction. With Ren I agree, is this stand alone? Or is it part of a new video set? But, either wsy I enjoy his bouncy videos as much as his serious topic videos.

All songs he is releasing now are recorded before Hi Ren. He said he wanted to make a hip hop album just to prove that he can. And when he released Hi Ren he felt that now people expect only that level of music from him so he was Concidering scraping the whole album. This son was recorded 18 months ago. The album coming now will have 18 hip hop tracks on it and he said his next album will be new music that is more singing.

Ren does in fact want to make money in life along with the accolades. The only issue is he has yet to sign another contract to make a freak ton of money. He sells his music direct and you can catch him on many platforms such as Spotify. I think that is a tremendous draw for him and we wish him the best of luck. However, even if he were to sign a deal and shoot to a much wider audience, I think we will still have the down to earth Ren we always had. Great reaction, and very thoughtful.

I don't think it was ever about not wanting to make money, but about what he's not willing to do in order to get it. And...I have no doubt he wouldn't, even if he was not in a position to dictate terms, sell out (e.g., relinquish creative control, sell s*** in which he doesn't believe, work with people whose work he doesn't respect, etc.). But when he signs whatever he signs, he won't be in the position so many artists have been, of being so broke and so desperate for a break they've no way to get, that they have to take what's offered. Social media has made a dent in that power balance, and Ren has made, and continues to make, the absolute maximum out of that, so it shouldn't be any problem for him to continue taking his own route to getting the money he wants.

Can't ever see him signing a record label deal as such. Maybe a distribution deal to get more of his music out there, but he is already making enough to survive on and he isn't the type to accumulate un-necessary wealth. His fans are so loyal that he would only need to ask if he was desperate for money anyway - his GoFund me to raise funds for his medical treatment raised over £200k (and is still rising I believe).

Quite a few reactors commented early that this was Ren playacting, not to take the claim that he's a 'murderer' serious, that this was a rhetorical device and he didn't mean it; he's a nice guy. Ren then goes ahead and subverts their expectations with "l don't mean metaphorically lyrical bullets..." Ren seems to be proficient at predicting what people will be thinking before they realize it and addressing it directly. Ren is literally on another level. I also think this ties in with Ren's comment about the two songs 'Suicide' and "Murderer'. The first, which is a song about preventing death, is getting red flagged, whereas a song titled 'Murderer' with Ren saying: "...actually fucking kill him..." gets a pass. He sees the injustice and goes a step beyond in this track saying to KZread: "I literally mean murder. Flag this song you hypocrites." And of course they don't. I can not emphasize how much I agree with this observation about the nature of censorship on KZread et al. Finally, I don't think he's a murderer, though you never know, but I do think he commits to the part, as a master artist would regardless of whether they'd actually murdered anyone.

There must be more coming . it's definitely got a jenny and screech trilogy type feel . I do like your reactions , not many British reactions to ren on KZread.

Just because a song is super-catchy doesn't mean that it's not a piece of art that Ren wanted to do for all the right reasons. Ren has been doing this for a long time ... he's hardly going to change his philosophy now that his music is finally "doing bits," is he?! Also, the videos are looking better and smoother because they've made shit-tons of them at this point and they are clearly getting better at making them! And because of Ren's recent success, presumably they have a littler more budget (i.e. "some" budget!) to play with. Cheers!

I think his intent is to just make good music, nothing more. He never panders to the "industry". I don't think the radio would play a song that has 'shocking like a finger in the anus' in the lyrics.
