They grew up together in an Orphanage The Elf Girl and the Boy were the bestest of friends. The Girl, being an Elf was a Prodigy in Magic . (She even created her own magic at a young age!) But the Boy, He was a loser and couldn't even use Magic. (But He was a prodigy in Swordsman-Ship) (Swordsman-Ship is considered Inferior/Less Potent than Magic and is considered Dwarfian.) When they were young, they promised each other that one day, they will reach the top of the 'Tower" (Means being one of the Pillar of the Magic Society) and become a "Magia Vander" (One of the Five Strongest Magicians in the World). The Girl becomes one but the Boy couldn't. But he didn't give up on his Promise. He joined the Greatest Magic Academy in the Continent, "The Regarden Magical Academy". Since He couldn't pass the Exams, He needed 'Points' to secure his place in the Academy. So, He went on dungeon raids many times in a Month. But one day, His classmates who made fun of him went to the dungeon together with him, They encountered a "Minotor", which is regarded a "Boss-Level Monster". They couldn't even tickle the Minotor but then the MC came running with a Sword in his hands............... (I will leave the rest to your imagination) Then his Classmates made fun of the Dwarfs (Only the Dwarves were happy when the MC accomplished something. They were like a Family to him.) So, the MC challenged them in the coming Tournament with a Bet that, > If he wins, they must Apologize to the Dwarfs > If he lose, He will quit the Academy Then the MC wins in the Tournament and this is where I dropped off the Manga. I've covered this Summary till > Chapter 20 of the Manga

In this, the tower is more like a dungeon with monsters Also, in ToG, only 1 person has ever been rumoured to break out of the tower- Enryu. Not even Urek Mazino could do that. The art and animation is realy smooth, recommend it

It is a mix of kauji no. 8 promise with mashle but with a serious tone. The MC knows the theory of magic but can't be applied in practice so he trains hard to be the girl sword and be promoted to the tower without using magic. To join her and fulfill the promise they made he has to break the rules and pass the class only using credits from killing mounters and pass the theoretical texts. Like Mash he is also bullied for not having magic but is a kind person like kaju n 8. Also looks like more intelligent and competent then both so the story feels more real. Looks good.

Suddenly when they grow up the animation and graphics of anime increased 😅😅

If you're watching and not a reader I won't spoil it for you. They first introduce it as an augment that makes him powerful via others magic, but only because "something" has prevented him from understanding what he's actually capable of and how to use it. I’m caught up to where he trains with the witch so he can make magic of his own by unlocking the memory of its inception where he is just an extension of magic created by his girl. Getting it out is the channeling through the weapon, but make no mistake the sword isn’t why he’s magic. He is. The sword augments his magic. He also is just raw and strong as fuck through all the painful trials of being a melee fighter his growing life. He’s overflowing with magic, he just couldn’t expel it on his own without help unsealing it. There is literally a magic exam where he fails because enemies can only be killed with magic. Even incredibly weak magic will kill them, and he can’t. After the witch he is able to do it on his own and kills them with magic. Of his own creation.
