I've always preferred inacio to brainthwaite. I don't know why ineos are stuck on him. Inacio or Calafiori would be welcome. But if Inacio is expensive, we can go for Calafiori who is cheaper.

I would go for Kevin Danso and Facundo Medina, two ball playing center backs who can also defend. Another hidden gem is that Feynoord CB, Hancko but I think he might be going to Liverpool.

Bayern wants 42m for De Ligt (if we choose to believe that). For that price he would be a good deal. The problem is his wages (around 16m euros a year). It doesnt make sense if United is planning to reduce the wage bill

@@itsramann and I don't want United to offer him £250k per week. Not when Bruno earns less. This needs to change. If De Ligt wants to come for football reasons, that's different. I'd have no issue given him bonuses if United get back in CL and win Europa League. Or a bigger one if United win PL (yes, a big if).

Inacio has a £51M release clause, which is not bad. Diomande has a £68M release clause. Calafiori will go for £80M + because of the 40% sell-on clause

That makes no sense. The sell on clause is there because Bologna bought him on the cheap - the profit is already priced in.

I don’t think United will spend anything over $60mil this summer

For me I would take the hit on De Ligt's salary to have him in for the aerial ability alongside Lisandro. Then wildcard for me is Jorrel Hato. Obvious ten Hag/Ajax link, but he can play CB and LB with equal competence and has huge potential. Could cost 65 - 75m total for the two of them together

Another 1 to consider is Scalvini. Right age profile as well. Probably less proven but huge potential.

Good list, am mentally preparing for Chalobah, Lucumi. Those two may also mean more chances for Kambwala at RCB. Can't see us going for others due to the wages and/or fees. If Maguire and Lindelof left then maybe one of Tapsoba/Diomande could be possible. Any revenue from Sancho, Greenwood, Casemiro could then be used to get 2 x CMs, CF and a RW. Keep up great work

I also think we wouldn’t need to spend on a Rw if we’re smart we’d go for Xavi Simons on a loan save us money let Amad develop and possibly do something similar to what Arsenal done with Ø and convince Simons to stay its a no brainer for me I don’t know y we’re letting Bayern get another over us

to me INEOS hasn’t shown anything to convince me this club is changing even letting players like Adreibayo go Chelsea on a free Maatsen go to Villa Barkley potentially joining him it’s looking like the same old United to me I know it’s early but intentions should be shown early that’s what the best clubs do there may be good changes behind the scenes but we could’ve at least made an addition to the squad by now

De Ligt is available for less than 42m according to Germany sources, Bayern want to get rid of him due to high wage as they are working to sign Jonathan Tah, I think De Ligt would be the best signing out there for our starting right CB in Ten Hag system, his best attributes fit perfectly to Lisandro Martinez as well, very similar to his partnership with Blind at Ajax

He's injury prone and he's not better than a fit Martinez and mind you they are both injury prone. Also Martinez is collect not even half of what delight will want to collect which will be a bad deal.

Hermoso on a free for LCB as he can also cover left back and FREE. De Ligt/Diomande/Aurojo/Scalvini/Antonio Silva/Yoro all depending on price tag etc. But if the rumored 40 Mil is true for De Ligt snap him up in a heartbeat. Even for 60 he is at least a good deal as he is plug and play. Chalobah is backup level.

Save the money and play Shaw as back up centre half

We need athleticism and strong defending skills both inside and outside the box. With that in mind, I would go for Diomande and perhaps Lucumi as a rotation option. Chalobah would also be a smart buy, but Chelsea wouldn't be keen to sell him to us. I watched Calafiori against Spain and wasn't impressed at all. My doubts about his ability to compete in a fast and physical league like the Premier League have only grown stronger.

I want calafiori, can play lcb when martinez is unavailable or needs a rest and can comfortably fill in at left back in case our lb’s are injured. And then i would also want diomande, i think he has huge potential and could definitely be our long term rcb option.

United should aim for young players with a lot of future potential, who want to play for United from the heart because they are actually fans/admirers from the club. Young players that can still be shaped in the system and way if playing Man United wants and needs. Ten Hag does a great job with talented youngsters and he has the vision and tactical knowledge and charisma to bring United back to where it belongs. Sell those who need to be sold, maybe one BIG signing but for the rest talented, ambitious and shapeable youngsters. Let Ten Hag do his magic and hopefully Van Nistelrooy joins him. @@United_Wings I understand what you are saying but the reality is that there seems to be little to spend without sales and much gaps to fill in the squad.Priority matters at this point. LCB,RCB,CM,CDM & CF Casemiro,Eriksen, Mctominay,Sancho, Greenwood and Lindelof should be shown the exit door.

De Ligt, Branthwaite, Chalobah and you sort out the defence for years. It will cost around 120-130m. Shaw, Malacia - LB Branthwaite, Lisandro, De Ligt, Chalobah, Kambwala, Evans - CB Dalot - RB (You have Chalobah and De Ligt can cover here if you decide to go with 3 at the back and giving Shaw more freedom to go forward

Doubt: If i think about it, there are so many good talent in portugal league, especially from benfica n sporting, but the funny thing is that Porto won the league most of the time. So unless he is a mind blowing talent like bruno, or atleast as good as Dias, i dont want us to sign anyone from benfica n sporting. Let's be real, If MUFC doesn't produce good talent and youths it's pointless to buy new players every season. Since 2014 We've had like almost 50 players that played for the club this years that has all departed just after two or three seasons. Di Maria, Lukaku, Pogba,Alexis Sanchez,Cavani ,Sancho ,Varane, Ronaldo,Fred, Dalot ,Maguire ,Bruno , Casimiro, Antony ,Martinez, Onana,. . If only these all players stayed for longer time to connect and play together. The same cycle will repeat and no way United is going to win anything if it continues this way
