I'm happy for you that you are enjoying the European side your mother gave away, but please understand while your mother chose that, the vast majority of Native Europeans do not choose that. We didn't want outsiders in our homeland - and they brought them anyway in large numbers - primarily to France and the UK, and it has spread. We want our culture and our people to remain 100% Native European as much as possible. This is no offense to you - as you did not choose that - and I hope you enjoy your father's side of your heritage as well but, again, please know that most peoples around the world do best with homogeneity and it is the only way to sustain any people long term.
