I saw a video where this week or last locals found a mountain full of gold. Every one was using picks and shovels trying to unearth the gold. But I realized that if they change it with the banks their Franco banks will give them Francophone rates. The DRC is the richest country on Earth due to its untapped minerals meaning that if the country was properly managed Dubai would look like a ghetto next to Kinshasa. I'm Congolese and I can tell you that we do know how rich our country is. The truth is that what is supposed to be a blessing has turned to be a curse since the first Europeans arrived centuries ago. Non Congolese wonder why we let things happen, answer is that we're all alone against the world. Do you realize that there have been around 10 millions people massacred in the country in the last 25 years but no international media has talked about it ? That's the biggest killings since World War II. You'll see the information nowhere because all so called developped countries are part of it, even the not developped ones. Only a suicidal revolution of unarmed Congolese can bring the changes the country deserve, unfortunately even that is mission impossible. So much to talk about but...

In Kinshasa we speak every languages not only French and lingala you will find people who speak swahili, kikongo and tshiluba in Kinshasa but 90% of the time you will hear French or lingala

@@oshayworrell1934 No you joker! Kinshasa is 9 times bigger than Lagos, and this is just the clean part. I'm sure if you go to other parts, it's not as clean. In Lagos, you have similar areas! Stop the madness< I'm a Nigerian who gave a compliment to a Congolese city without trashing it, but you Africans can't help yourselves.

@@mojakomau6965 it's not lie. That's the fact...read books about DRC and you'll understand. The country has just been kept down by westerns since the independence year ( 1960) by instigating armed conflicts and all sort of troubles to prevent DRC to develop and become an African giant. Le me mention a lack of good leadership too.

Great video but we need more, there so much to show in Kinshasa. And in other cities such Boma, GOMA, Bukavu, Kisangani, Kindu,Tanganika, or Kalemie, and Lubumbashi just to name a few you will love the east part because the main Language is Swahili.
