the problem is why the hell tacet field using 60 instead of 40 with that kind of rewards, when the thing is you need to upgrade "every" correct main stat echo to decide if the echo is good or not (which is waste of exp), when in other games you already know the relic/artifact is trash from the get go also can be used as exp material

True, tacet fields are basically the caverns of corrosion in hsr and those only cost 40 stamina per run. No idea why they cost 60 in wuthering waves when the rewards are so underwhelming

It levels it out with infinite farming and getting many right main stats vs having to wait for the right main stat to drop with the correct stats and then roll into those correct stats. 8 months still using a shit phys orb on Argenti. Used 8 self modeling resin too.

​@@devildante9I just wish you get lije 5 boss drops in Genshin. its insane we still get mostly 2 with a chance of 3 at max rank. Ley Line drops also could be much better, like 10 purples per instead of 4-5. We were excited back in the day, but nowadays we know it's trash. Thats why building characters in HSR is so much better cause you get more rewards with about the sane number required. Ill take a day and a half to max ascend a character over 5 days.

farming in wuwa is absolutely horrible, you can do like 4 tacet field but you can barely upgrade 1 max echo

The most problem i have on wuwa is definitely the reward is lacking. If the stamina cost on the weekly is 30 and tacet is 40 i can get by it. But it's 60!

Repost It takes 2413 greens to fully max a character. (67 gold, 55 purple, 28 blue and 25 green) A UL60 run usually gives between 39-48 greens in value (depending whether you get 2 purples or not). Let's say 43 is the average. That's 57 runs to max a character. 2280 waveplates. 9.5 days. This is without lucky gold drops. Every gold that drops saves you 26 waveplates. 46 boss drops needed. Let's say 4.5 is the average. 11 runs. 660 waveplates. 2.7 days. To level a character to 90, get all their skills to 10 with all nodes unlocked, it's around 12 days of farming. It takes 1477 greens to fully max a character in Star Rail. (139 purple, 69 blue and 18 green) On the average 60 trailblaze power (6x run) gives 24 greens in value. That's 62 6x runs to max a character. 3720 trailblaze power. 15.5 days This is without factoring in lucky purple drops. Every purple that drops saves you 23 trailblaze power. 65 boss drops needed. 5 per run with no rng. 13 runs. 390 trailblaze power. 1.6 days. To level a character to 80, get all their skills to 10 with all nodes unlocked, it's around 17 days of farming. Realistically, you could shave off a day or so off this because purples do drop more frequently than wuwa's gold. A little over 10 purples saves you 24 hours of trailblaze power. Wuwa feels worse because of the gold material (which doesn't exist in HSR) but it's actually faster. Which is surprising. So the speed of which you can develop your characters isn't a problem. Unless you think it's a problem in HSR too. People are too hyper focused on the purple and missing gold drops and don't realize the blues make up 50% or more of your total materials. A UL60 drop of: 1 purple, 8 blue and 6 green. That's 39 greens and Blues make up 61% of the total with 24. 39 greens is actually the exact same value as 4 purples and 3 greens. If you saw 4 purples drop, you'd be ecstatic. Well.. that's what you're getting. You just don't realize it.

You didn't include the shell/credit costs in your calculation. You should also include how much XP/money you get from dailies, or from completing an XP/relic run. Also you can auto trash equipment every easily in HSR to get more XP, I don't remember if you can do that in WuWa. We should consider all these factors before concluding which one allows you to level up characters faster.

"wuwa feels worse..but faster" I kinda noticed this during the very early of wuwa. started playing gacha this year, hsr then this. Started hsr on 2.1, loved the story, didnt care for equipment till world 4 (i dont remember any gold relics in world 3 and only a few in world 4) then tb lvl 50(?) went and farm a bit of caverns just for my dps. meanwhile i was getting gold echoes by week 4 of wuwa (plus the event rewards with choosing which element bonus) and now enough decent gold echoes for 3 units and i can 12/30 ToA. HSR MoC im currently on 15/36 and PF 6/12 seems like wuwa's problem is the feel. they gave us access to endgame absurdly fast then grinding it out is only kinda better so we complain about the bad feels.

based. Wuwa is just really really fast. You explore fast, you get echoes fast, you level characters fast. Then you find out that you have nothing more you can do, unlike the slow repetitive grind of HSR where you just auto and ignore for months.

I admit I was a coper of expecting too much for how early on we were. MrPokke was right, now that I have been working on echos and see the rewards for higher levels, holy shit I was wrong af... I still do not have max echos on anyone other than Rover because +10 or +15 sub farming drains everything so fast, purely exp I have not ran out of tuners yet (also have not converted tuners since I think that came out in 1.1?). Its actually insane the previous max roll does not become the next level's minimum roll at least...

@@TSH425 So what was your strategy when obtaining and raising echoes? The best way to raise echoes is to only raise correct main stat echoes to +10/+15 depending on the roll. Then if it does not gain a crit roll, discard and retry with another echo. Specifically for 3costs however, you want to raise up to +15/+20 minimum. I spent ~2-3 weeks farming overworld for 3cost echoes (full clear 3 different types of 3costs per day), but most of my echoes came from TFs. I have a 261cv, 230cv, and a full (main and substat) ER rejuv set. All you need is just to get double crit. It's not that hard.

@@kuratse205 yes good strategy but it ONLY WORKS IF U GET THE CORRECT MAIN STAT TO BEGIN WITH😭that's the problem if ur unlucky as shit u can spend a week farming just for flautits(me that's me💀) and get not 1 good main stat to lvl up then after getting a good main stat the substats end up being absolutely ass the only set that I have down is wind and electro since my mains were those elements (2 ok electro sets and 1 amazing wind set) my healer set is absolute ass since i haven't gotten a single gold energy regen main stat... I quite literally cant build it even if I try so atp I just use whatever I have

@@TSH425 TFs give like 1-3 on element and on set 3cost every 2 days though. At UL50 data21 the drop rate is pretty alright

And i still dont think echo exp is an issue, you can get two echoes to max every 3 days (not including exp from events/endgame/exploration), try getting two relics to max in 3 days in HSR, goodluck with that, you cant with the exp that you get in those 3 days, it feels like there's more exp because you get garbage 90% of the time and you maybe get one relic that's even worth considering every week, id rather have consistent progress that we have in WuWa instead of having tons of exp waiting and having to pray day after day for something to level up

They really need to either add a increase in drops amount per rank or lower the cost of running these things because 60 is just jarring. Weeklys costing half for first 3 times each week would help. I really believe everything else does not need to cost more than 40... This is disappointing man...

welcome to PGR. it's even worse in that game. Plus, it's completely normal for kurodevs to give you scarce resources when you have to farm for weapon exp, character exp, character skill, rng with memory set resonance in PGR, farming memory/echo set resources to upgrade, upgrading/getting dups, etc. They're literally copying this weekly boss idea from GI/HSR and made it worst somehow lmaooo.

I don't really mind about the tacet field, just hope they increase the reward or other echoes can be used for upgrade. But the forgery is my real issue as it just drop 1 purple in UL 50, they should increase it because it's kind of a headache

This is actually fun to watch. An entertaining video outside, and serious inside.

As a non-refresher, I have pretty decent echoes. 261cv and 17ER on a 43311 fusion/fusion on fusion set, and a 230cv 43311 havoc/havoc on havoc set. So a high roll and a mid roll set within only 40 days since launch. I'd say that it is a pretty good rate of grind. MrPokke just doesnt touch grass. Compared to my time in genshin and HSR, the grind is far better but it wants me to actually play the game and go around the world to farm echoes for 1-2h for a total of two weeks when I want perfect sets. I'm currently having a bigger issue of a lack of 1costs more than 3costs or 4costs due to not farming overworld anymore. Traces take far more waveplates but its a finite grind, so its completely fine.

Did you guys also see the devs reduced the spawns of the mobs around the world so you can't perma echo farm as much per day anymore. For example the ones at the entrance of the Feilan Wind Monkey 4* echo. No longer spawns 4x 3 star monkeys. This is only one of many. They didn't even say anything. The devs are so cringe now

tbh they really really really need to make tacit fields cozt 40 stamina instead of 60 cuz 60 is just too much everything else is fine Normal bosses are fine weekly bosses are fine to i my opinion cuz you only need 6 to maxx out a character i believe which is 120 stamina which is really cheap compared to other games for the talent materials it's really hard to tell cuz getting a purple one in genshin is really hard at the highest levelmain while here you're getting 2 here which is nive as well and it's not even the highest level yet so i think it's fine tacit fields tho really need to give 30 at least or be changed to 40 stamina instead of 60 cuz that's insanity high

if this keeps going.. as much as i love wuwa i believe i would say that kuro mightve missing revenue and playerbase in the near future.. yes theyve been generous with the "reward" for pulls but other than that we have too many issue with the game, and tacet field just a bits of it.

They really should atleast 1.5-2x the reward for any waveplates activities with the current cost. Its really ass.

so in conclusion i'm not missing out at ul 46, truly wuwa devs are goated

as the saying goes, nothing can kill a game except for the dev themselves.

I hate that you cant use Duplicate echoes to level up your main echo, and if they dont want to reduce the waveplate consumption for Tacet fields and Forgery challenge, they should at least reduce the time needed to fill all the waveplates. Also, if they dont really want to reduce anything, at least increase the rewards for the things that was mentioned

lots of mats are coming from events and point shops, wuwa is going for heavy fomo economy

Ikr, yesterday i had a run of 6 forgery fields. union lvl47 and i got 1 time out of the 6 runs 1 purple drop. 5 times out of 6 i only got blue and green . Feels right, yeah.

I mean what do you expect. Echo exp is not an issue but people complain about it so it gets buffed. Trace leveling mats is an issue and people dont complain about it so it doesnt get buffed. This is why good feedback matters.

Tacet fields stay being the biggest scam in the game. Cant believe those things cost 60 stamina. The only time they felt decent to do was during the 2x event

When I used 20 cubes and got like 100 purple xp and 40mish golds, I was shocked at how fast they drained I maybe lvld up like 2-3 echos it sucks.

Не стоит забывать про ивенты в патче на ресурсы, поэтому сложно сказать, присутствует ли тут баланс. Мне кажется было бы слишком жирно требовать, что бы мы могли собрать персонажа за несколько дней фарма. В том же ХСР мы фармим целый месяц + -, что бы с нуля одеть персонажа до максимума. Стоит посчитать ресурсы и выявить сколько потребуется дней, что бы возвысить персонажа до 90 лвл, возвысить оружие до 90 лвл и навыки до 10 лвл, добавить фарм эхо, но при этом нужно учитывать ивенты на ресурсы примерно. Это сложно, но возможно не все так плохо как кажется😅 Так же не стоит забывать, что у нас еще только старт игры и поэтому с течением времени будет больше ресурсов, больше ивентов, лучше награды. На сколько я помню в ХСР на старте игры было очень тяжело развиваться тоже)) В добавок ко всему, в дальнейшем у нас будут копиться ресурсы и мы уже не будем замечать какую-то нехватку.

i actually got 1 golden drop 2 times on UL 40, did not see one yet on 50 tho.

I got a gold trace 2 runs in a row at UL 40 after patch 1.1 launched. I thought devs listened but turns out I used all my rng on those 2 runs

Me here with 68 solvents waiting for union level 60 or max to use them to get the most benefit out them, might just use them now 😅

genshin has 1 more world level but you are already getitng max rewards from domains and same in hsr so this system is the same, thats the cap for domain rewards only the world gets harder, kinda crazy that it doesnt improve over the last tier doe, waste of time fighting harder bosses.

I mean in all this why even tuners are a thing? It just complicates things. Also they could give us 2 rows prerolled at least. Whats funny they took all the systems from genshin/hsr and only one they changed was echos which is the main point of contemption.

I feel like dropping 10 exp mats is pretty fair considering it takes a lot of those to raise an echo. On top of not being able to feed echoes to level up other echoes

This again don't forget It's a new game they need to control the pacing player progres of course you can by pass this using asterit but all new game do the same thing, this not a game that had run for 4 years like genshin.

You are not meant to keep playing gatcha games for hours and hours , max out all the characters and "finish" the game. Just like "relics" it takes time to build, but eventually you'll have a lot of good pieces.

Pacing of the players progress? Bull crap. It’s about longevity of the game. No one is wanting to speed run WuWa, but the amount you passively put into the game doesn’t align with how much you’re getting. 240 stamina on WuWa is a joke, with 60 costing a huge portion of the content is not justifyable

As much as i want to spend for future characters, why will i pull a new character when i am not finished with my Jiyuan, Jinshi, Yinlin and other characters? Can't imagine to pull Scar and start from scratch leveling him up to match my current strong characters.

That was actually a translation error (hah.) afaik.. They meant increase special events and not just a straight up increase.

It was said "increase echo materials for events" in chinese. So it wasn't about tacet fields. In english it was "increase yield of echo materials", it wasn't specified how.

yeahhh I'm gonna stay with lvl 80 (sol lvl 6 ?, the one where 80 is the max). Less grindy for new characters and not as hard. Tacet fields should cost 30, so you can do 4x of them with 120 then do 1 boss and 2 forgery if you wait a bit during the day. Would be a good balance to do stuff in general.

After maxing my characters I will still be in no rush to farm echoes. Especially when I can roll 5 BASIC FLAT STATS overall. Why can I hit two of the same flat stats from the main stat. 4 step RNG: 50/50 getting the correct echo drop. 50/50 correct element. 1/10 correct main stats. 1/10 correct substat. Then we have to get the mats...

It's not that hard, just wait until you get the right main stat (only 4costs take actual time to get), then roll to +15 and toss if bad. Remember, crit rolls are FAR more valuable than any other substat. Double crit rolls are worth infinitely more than anything else you could get.

​@@kuratse205what do u mean 4* are the easiest to get since u can infinitely farm them and their main stats are less than 3*, 3* are the problem because the rng on them is absolutely terrible, have a shit ton of main stats, shit ton of sub stats u can legit go an entire day without getting 1 usuable 3* (based on the main stat alone) but atleast with 4* u will always end the day with atleast 1 good peace(based on main stat alone)

@@TSH425 TFs at high world level only drops 3costs and Echo selectors are abundant. You dont need as high crit rolls for 3costs than you need for 4costs and 1costs, and you'd roll 3costs to +20 regardless unlike 1 and 4costs that you discard after +10

game is going to die simply from the huge power creep. it's only the 3rd limited and the character is already busted beyond belief compared to the rest of the 5 star roster.

Yeah, thats what i'm afraid of. I pulled for Jinhsi because i wanted spectro dps... but now i kinda regret it. Turns out that she's so busted that i kill most enemies before even finishing her rotation. Hell, my Encore had dedicated echo set, 5 star standard weapon, leveled up talents and still can't even compare. I wish that i could glimpse year into future to see if it gets to ToF levels of powercreep. Because right now it certainly seems so.

Either they give us the promised Waveplate Storage system or drop the energy requirements to a minimum, like 40 for TFs and 30 for Forge and Simulations. Also increase the rewards and make the yellow drops more frequent in UL50.

i don't know guys are you all complaining about tuners, I'm playing since launch and i never had a problem with their amount, still have around 1000 of them. I fully built only 5 characters to hae 25lvl each echo and its still enough for me and i wouldn't say my luck with tuning was outstanding, just okayish. The exp potions are the worst part, no? 60stamina for 3 gold ones is a joke

The rewards from the game and events are also going to be a lot less. Because they give the free 5* ticket. Keep an eye for the amount of Asterites you get from events etc. Thats how they damage control don't let them get away with it. Its all a fake illusion to entice us.

The whole map is litteraly filled with chest and mini games...you can reach 20k+ astrites as you progress the game...and not to mention there's also free rewards as you level up throughout the game...with a free 5* star weapon selector...what more do you want? It's only 1.1... it has did everything than genshin had to offer back when GI first released...

Been saying it to my friends for some time now, only shit that should cost 60 are weeklies and ascension mats bosses, everything else should be 40 and i even would go as far as to say the 3 simulations dungeons in jinzhou should cost 20, just adjust the exp to match 60/40/20 and thats it
