    i meaaan on one hand i agree on the other, in my country "I'm gonna kill you" or "Shooting yiu won't be enough" is quite a common light hearted way to express frustration, parents to kids especially. My dad used to say this whenever i did something cheeky, where he's almost at the verge of laughing while i was giggling like an idiot, he'd say these things. But i can imagine with trigger happy usa would not like that.

    This is one of those moments where anime-styled characters from different franchises have an uncanny resemblance to each other and it happens sometimes. For example, the character Jircniv from Overlord bears an uncanny resemblance to the character Reinhard von Lohengramm from Legend of the Galactic Heroes. It happens sometimes so this isn't really anything new by the way.

    I watched Violet Evergarden before I played Genshin and I didn't even notice the similarities On one hand I almost (keyword almost) understand those people but also the joking death threats is definitely too much. Like, between friends for example it's fine cuz you two know it's not serious but yeah those people definitely live on Twitter way too much But I guess I have a weird thing about making comparisons between well "art" and whatnot but I guess that's a bit different

    Yep. I miss the chillness of the past. People nowadays takes everything too serious and triggered by the most vanilla things.     I can actually see where they're coming from. People pointing out obvious similarities are a bit irritating. There are only so many design elements to work with so there's always going to be similar characters. Also, you'd have to squint extremely hard to think that Jean looks anything like Violet in those two pictures. That said, the right reaction to this is to shrug and move on, not write raging tweets.

    Two things, guys and gals, watch violet evergarden, its great. second, watch the eng-dub. its better than the jp one, for some reason. the eng dub is great, which is rare, and more emotional which is alot more fitting. the jp dub is "ok" but the eng dub is better by a mile, which for an anime is very rare. i usually watch eng sub.
