Left BGC to check out the financial capital of the Philippines…Makati! We started our day trip along Ayala Avenue, the Wall Street of Philippines. And learned about the famous name, Ayala along the way.
Couldn’t help explore a vibrant park called Ayla Triangle Gardens which is at the center of this bustling city. What a perfect time to visit this park during the Christmas holiday. Their annual Christmas lights show called The Festival of Lights was spectacular!
And right down the street is Greenbelt Mall where the kids were excited to check out a couple of special stores.
This beautiful city truly offers something for everyone. There are many traditions and hidden gems scattered all. You'll definitely never run out of things to do!

Rockwell is another beautiful place to visit in Makati… you see those high rise towers that are so well lit at night with the same color, that is Rockwell… there is also a beautiful mall I’m sure your kids will enjoy.

@@MomDuty Yes… there are also food and drink stalls like the one in Ayala Triangle. For kids attraction: There are moving pandas.. deer.. i think they won’t enjoy this much since they are already 10 or 11 yrs old but still fun to watch.

@@MomDuty omg..."team work makes the dream work" that's what Mejie Cruz said when she competed in miss cosmoworld in malaysia last week. she won the crown and she has a cash prize amounting to 19.1 million pesos that's about almost $400,000. That's the biggest prize of any beauty pageant in the world. She trended right away because of the cash prize.
Satisfying to watch the journey of this family… 😮 they are all smart and Brilliant w/ a touch of sense of humor …one of the most important… plz keep it up guys.. mentaining the enthusiasm 😅… 😊

I used to work in Makati at Buendia Avenue Extension and used to shop and eat our Dinner at Greenbelt and catch my ride there. That was decades ago and it was not like this yet.. I have live in USA since then.

I can see why now that we’ve visited Greenbelt. Such a great place to hangout even if you don’t shop. Plus soooo many food choices. I love Greenbelt. Has to be one of my fav places to go with the family!!👌👌
You should visit the beaches. Since it's the highlight of the Philippines Best, it has to offer. Like boracay, palawan, etc... Enjoy and have Fun🧑🎄

@@MomDuty absolutely! I see it as an old version of BGC. Saw the vlog where you guys watched this some kind of lightshow with a video on the structure of Tower One in Ayala Triangle. That's actually where the stock exchange/trading is going on (the wall street of the Phils. and where the Zobel de Ayala office is. :)

@@MomDuty Yes. It’s now a restaurant.. you will enjoy it there… you walk along Makati Avenue if you want to go to that fancy restaurant. I guess you went to Greenbelt by passing Ayala Avenue and the underground pedestrian pass. There are 7 underground tunnels in Makati CBD for pedestrians.

Try visit "Beyond the Box" there's one Shop near Burgos Circle in BGC. If you want to visit gadget stores you can go to Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan City.

@@MomDuty Hi! appreciate your response. There's one in SM Makati maybe the same size as toys r us. So from greenbelt just cross the bridge to landmark, then exit going to Glorietta, then exit going to SM. Glorieta has a bigger to toy store too inside Rustans.

We did visit The Shops but only 1 floor was open with mainly restaurants. Nothing else was open. Can’t wait until it’s completely done. They have so many great stores that will be there. It’s so convenient that it’s there at Ayala Triangle Gardens.

@@MomDuty I had to research about Toys R Us. It showed that Toys R Us Philiipines and in Asia in general were not affected by the mother company’s (USA) bankruptcy. It spun off and Asian stores are under Toys R Us Japan. It has more than 200 stores all over Asia including 35 physical stores in the Philippines under Robinsons Toys, the owner of Robinsons malls. :)

@@MomDuty There are a lot of cellphone, computer and camera repair shops there. Go around different shops and compare the prices. Virra Mall (or is it called V Mall now?) is the popular one there but I think any mall there will have repair shops. Just ask the guards at the entrance just to be sure. Mergim (the British vlogger who just stays in bgc) just went there to fix his camera. Watch his last video for more info about Greenhills.

husband here again - 3 oct. 23 last video for a few hours while this old guy takes a nap. Speaking of spoiled kids, we could only manage one. So I was 34 when we got married, 8 years to have a son, by then I was 42. I told our boy that when he was old enough to understand, dad won't be able to play with you for too many years like a younger man, but there is hardly anything you might want that we can't afford . ( with in some kind of reason ) Clothes was Ryan's big thing. Having only one child was a big help. Ryan made us proud by getting an Engr. Degree and is currently lead Engr for Boeing's Fabrication Plant in Portland, Ore.

You’re right. Manila is the capital of the Philippines🇵🇭When we said that Makati is the Financial Capital of the Philippines, we meant that Makati is the ‘Financial Center’ because major banks, department stores, corporations and even foreign embassies are based in Makati. Sorry for the confusing🙈
