I agree with u 100%. Animals are loyal to their owners no matter what. Even when the owner is a horrible abusive man or woman!!. I don’t understand how that happens. Oui après tout on peut faire rentrer quelqu un de la famille proche, mais les animaux sont tout aussi de notre famille..❤ et pour ma part je suis très malade mon adorable chatte pat , commence me soigne à sa façon, je mange très très peu,, je dors quand très peu aussi, à cause des douleurs même si j ai de la morphine et pat souffre aussi elle a vu plusieurs fois la véto je pleure de la voir ainsi , oh oui on aime tellement fort nos animaux

I teared up too and I don't own a dog. I just appreciate that the dog was resilent and they let him/her back in the ambulance. It was a special moment.🤗💐🙏🏾💜🦋

My mom just had to put down her 14 year old cat. She lived alone with him. She wants to die without him. She feels she killed him and if she could have been able to AFFORD to have him looked at and maybe lengthed his time here on earth with her, then he would still be here. They charged her $600 just to give him a shot to die. That's SICKKKK!!!!! I remember about 20 years ago, it was only $100 to put a pet down. No wonder she could not afford to keep him alive without suffering anymore because of the VERY HIGH COSTS OF VETERINARY CLINICS. HUMANE SOCIETY IS JUST ABOUT THE SAME. I understand that things cost money for the vets, but they are just too OUTRAGEOUS and really don't care, bc they get immune to putting animals down. He did not die of old age. He got put down because he was suffering and the vet COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO LENGTHEN HIS LIFE AND MY MOM KNOWS THIS. SO IT MAKES HER PAIN EVEN MORE DEEP. ANIMALS ARE THE VERY BESTEST FRIEND A HUMAN WILL EVER HAVE. She used to rock him like a baby. He was so smart and human like. I feel so sorry for her. It was like losing her child she says and I FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW SHE FEELS.

I just lost my Border Collie after 17 years. She was loyal to me until her last breath. She was more concerned with how I was feeling than her own pain. I will never forget Rosie as long as I live. It's a dog. That's not hygienic for the master/patient, the ambulance, or the next patients that may even be allergic to dogs. Even people aren't allowed to ride with their loved ones in an ambulance.

Possibly if the patient was awake, he/she may have asked for the dog, too. That would ease his or her worries a lot, I imagine, to have this furry friend along for the trip to the hospital.

Yes most definitely..the dog would of chased them for a long time..I'm so glad the driver had some thought

The same thing happened to me with my beautiful dog named Tessa!! The paramedics came to my house bc I was having heart problems, they put me in the emergency vehicle and my dog who was overweight (this defied gravity) jumped and cleared the height of the ambulance and jumped on top of me and wouldn’t let me go! I lived out on my 6 acres, over 20 miles from town and they (the paramedics) were just going to let her out of the vehicle and leave her, then she started chasing after the ambulance!! I begged them to please take her back to the house (the gravel road up to the main road was over a quarter mile long) because I knew she would have chased us all the way to the hospital or die trying! They did bring her back and locked my door for when my family came home! Thank goodness I wasn’t having a heart attack, just heart problems, otherwise my dog would’ve been left alone terrified and trying to find me!! She was such a good dog and literally followed me everywhere…I always teased and said I should’ve named her shadow!! This scenario in this video resonates with me and I’m so happy the pup got taken care of! 😅

I believe EMS workers and hospitals should allow pets in. They can be part of the recovery process. Pure love. No judging.

But then the pet would help them heal too quickly and they'd spend less money on meds and hospital stays.

I work at Mass General in Boston and I remember when the hospital started a program that allowed trained dogs to come and visit. They immediately noticed the physical benefits the program has. Of course it brightens everyone's spirits but it also lowered blood pressure, relieved pain levels. It's incredible. I was so proud to be part of that team. Personal pets are generally not allowed but exceptions are made all the time.

Absolutely not😊... actually, hospitals do allow service dogs, but only if there is someone other than the patient attending to it.

There's more of a connection there- for THEIR PATIENT than those EMTs may have realized. I'm super glad they figured it out!!!!
