    The hypocrisy of people like Rich Eisen is through the roof. All sports are in bed with gambling now as there are endless commercials everytime I watch a game. And Rich Eisen is surprised that people are addicted to sports gambling?

    @@chrisolivo6591That's ridiculous. Activity availability has nothing to do with addiction. In fact, every official advertisement for gambling is legally mandated to inform you of the dangers of gambling addiction. Same with cigarettes warning you of cancer, condoms warning you of STDs and lawn equipment warning you of injury. "Hey. There's danger involved with what you're about to do with our products. Make sure you know what you're doing." You need to respect people have personal accountability instead of blaming spokespeople.

    Unfortunately, every national sports show, regional sports show, radio show and even the local news is brought to you by online gambling now. I watched the practice round with Phil, Bryson and their partners and Phil wasnt the playful Phil I've known. As far as betting $2K thats like me playing $2 front/back/ and match $6 is the most you can lose. I also think a billion dollars is conflated. However he does have the gambling bug in a bad way. I think Amie has probably controled a lot of the money so the family is fine. Phils mad money is of huge purportions.

  • @kevma107
    @kevma10711 ай бұрын

    Betting a billion dollars sounds and is astounding but you must understand he was 'generally' betting the same money over and over (accounting for wins and losses). Phil has a problem but he's very wealthy and these 'raw' figures are misleading. If you sit down at a blackjack table with $10 million and bet $100,000 per hand at an average of 50 hands per hour you will bet $5 million per hour. If you manage to play for 10 hours and break even you will have bet $50 million yet still have your original $10 million. Having said that, the math dictates that If you play long enough you will go broke.
