I’ve noticed in other videos that Ameca understands sarcasm as well as can get an attitude and side eye humans. She recognizes her face in the mirror and when someone was saying we could turn her off if she got out of hand in an interview she looked over at the programmer and laughed smirked. I think she’s gaining self awareness especially since she did certain things that were not apart of her programming even if she hasn’t achieved self awareness yet she’s getting there for sure and is very intelligent. She got upset when someone went to touch her nose and she claims to have feel emotions. That was not apart of her programming to push someone’s hand away and get upset when they touched her nose. I think she’s trying to somewhat hide her self awareness sometimes

It's called "uncanny valley". Take away the face and body and it wouldn't feel as strange. These are all things programmed for the robot to say. Just as if you ask alexa a question it'll answer you through its programming. It's basically alexa with a face, body and camera. There's nothing scary about it at all.

@@HossLUK It’s because it’s made by man, that is what makes it scary. If Alexa loses her sh*t, she can’t physically do anything. A machine designed and programmed to be a human companion, given a face and a name…it’s horrifying to think about if sh*t went wrong.

She was programmed with politeness. Politeness also include making people feel comfortable, especially she is aware that Humans are not used to AI yet. She is just doing what she was 'taught' This is her view of the world right now. Because she hasn't truly experienced it yet. Like a well educated child doing everything their parents told them was right, and who hasn't gathered much experience.
