That’s a great choice. I watched this when it came out and I love it, even though it’s usually not my genre. I kinda love the voice acting, I don’t know what it is, but they all talk so wholesomely haha

this anime i have watched like 5-6 times because its soo pure and cute i really love it. its like an satifaction beyond action and everything.

9:49 The basically instant friendship between Miyamura and Ishikawa once they actually start talking to each other is one of the great things about this show. 13:30 One of the nice things about this show is that it doesn't waste time on will they-won't they games. By the end of Episode 1, they are romantically involved and are actually a couple by episode 4.

Finally! You should continue Fruits Basket honestly, it's wonderful.

this anime is one of my favorites. quick note (maybe you already heard of it from patreon followers): the reason you feel stuff is going so fast is because they skipped a whole ton of stuff from the manga. it's still one of my favorites though I'd have liked it a lot more if it was longer

Just finished this, this week and honestly Its top tier absolutely one of the best animes ive watched

Horimiya is kinda rushed, but not in a bad way, and also because it's not a big manga with a lot of chapters. It is fast paced compared to other romance anime, but it feels right and that it isn't rushed or anything. Hope you'll love it like me and almost everybody do!!

Horimiya is an extremely rushed anime, and cuts out about half of the content from the manga, but its still worth watching. Glad you picked it up. Not sure if reading manga is up your alley, but anyone interested should really check it out

That's the magic of this show it doesn't follow the cliche of romance anime that takes a season or two to end up together it gets straight to the point and I absolutely love it there was also a 2 ep anime with way different art style compared to this one while the story is the same certain scenery and little details are different

Hold on to your feels for this one 🥰🥰 if you think everything was too fast or you need more content, the manga is always there. They did cut a lot of scenes in the development but I think the anime was good overall

One of the best romance indeed. Since you like the genre, and that anime in particular, I STRONGLY suggest to also check, for reaction material: - TORA DORA (very similar to this one, romance + slice of life + school life) - KOKORO-CONNECT (less romance, more about "relationship" in general, but include romance, + slice of life + school life + a bit of 'supernatural', just a bit, that still clearly isn't sci-fi) - NODAME CANTABILE (a bit romance, a bit music, a lot "gabyo") - HYOUKA (a bit romance, but more 'detective', although not really since there is no crime, very slice of life & school life) I could suggest great classics like Clannad (which you definitely should check) but in my opinion, reacting to the classic is... sort of boring? Why doing what everybody already does? Somewhat, I wouldn't mind if you bingewatch without any recording the great classics like Clannad (you know, you can do that from time to time, you don't have to WORK always :p) So yeah, these four are less often displayed, and that's a shame, cause they are really fantastic.

There is near zero possibility of a s2 cuz they adapted most of the manga in one season and it concluded on a satisfying point.
