If you play valo you know it’s not $85 but it cost more because you have to upgrade the gun you bought which cost $$ for every upgrade to have a effects like that.

​@@Rncko its more like, you're peeking an angle and since mythic skins have crazy amount of vfx, your fps drop, so you will lose the gunfight (and since this game is mobile, frames and ping does matter alot)

my computer used to be really bad and I would memorize the fps i would get in certain games and when my fps was lower than normal I would know there was an enemy nearby

I have a not so funny story about fps. So, I really dislike valorant. Downloaded it just to see if I may be wrong. No, I was right and hated it. To make sure I would never want to return, because Riot are masters of addiction - I decided to limit fps and have one last physically vomit inducing match. At first I set it to 10, but it was not enough, I could still play. Then I set it to 3. And... I didn't end that match with zero kills. Somebody just happen to walk into crosshairs of my pistol.

@@xandero8444 for cs skins you can get many of those really cheap. There are a lot of 3 cent skins and you can free drops every week. One of the drops is always case so that at least free 30 cents if not 1.30 euros for one free case drop. Also all skins you buy for cs do I value so you can trade and sell those skins later for profit. Some sites give you real money for skins. You can't compare cs and valorant skins. Its not same thing. If you buy 80 euro valorant skins then its just better looking pixels. If you get 80 euros cs skin it might increase in value like many expensive skins do right now or you could at least sell it for almost same price as you paid for it.

In terms of pay to win skins in games there was a skin in destiny 2 that made a exotic shotgun have a slight more range but i was because of how the calculated range and since the skin had a bigger barrel the gun had slight more range. It was fixed so the length of barrels wouldn't affect it anymore

Wallhacks for free when you spawn in, but only teammates and enemy spy from team fortress 2.

I'm not sure if the title of this video should be "bug with skin allows wallhacks for a day" or "we've run out of ideas, so time for clickbait".

A humble opinion here I think the game is using a stencil buffer to render the enemies players a technique used to reduce clipping of meshes into the environment, the same stencil buffer is used to render the gun effect, knowing that the stencil buffer has only 256 indexes which is limited for complex games. The same thing happened in league of Legends there was a weird interaction between a certain Jhin skin when Ulting and when recalling on a certain Sylas skin.

This seems like it was a marketing ploy.

Dota also has a pay to lose rubick skin where the spells you steal become rubicks main color: green. This makes it a lot easier for enemies to distinguish between your spells and their own spells instead of it just being a mess.

That is not a clipping issue... so, my best guess is that the shader samples whatever it is behind it for... some reason (performance or that's just how their graphics pipeline is set up for transparency stuff), and the player is masked (occluded, maybe?) to try and prevent... wallhacks... except, when the player is sampled in the vfx shader(without occlusion, cause that's expensive), because it is masked, it's black... so... you see the clear af pink in the shader result. I might be deadass wrong, and I'd love someone to correct me if I am... cause I'm a game dev :) And it's always nice to know how stuff works

back when the dragoncorn glider in fortnite was released it had a nearly impossible hit box so gliding was so safe

Not surprised. Every person, that either plays League themselves or watches E-Sport knows that fixing /preventing Bugs (and some of them actually impactful) are not Riots strong suite. I mean there literally is a list of "known bugs" pro-Teams MUST play around... "must" as in "no pause, no chronoshift, no remake allowed... no matter how game breaking the bug might be". Just this MSI a powerful Ultimate ability just didn't have a visual and did not consistently hit everything it should have (wasn't important, affected team won anyway and by a landslide). Or a frontlineplayer was able to use an active item, despite being clearly chain CC'd, resulting in staying alive (longer), waiting out the CC and subsequently killing an enemy carry... TL, DR: Riot Games is a circus, when it comes to Bugs. Proofing it time and time again with the clown fiesta, that is LoL E-Sports and their "known Bugs list".

Well on paper it sounds broken but if you're using it on the server it's a whole different lvl. Most of the player on valo likes to just Go like rushing or just go in a site. It's gonna be hard to react while using the bug. Well i guess it would work if for instance you're defending, hiding in a corner and you know the opponent likes to play it slow. You can use the bug and see them slow walking. That's my thoughts on the situation, i haven't try it cuz Riot fix it pretty fast (Thank god) and i only see the bug on testing. Probably there's someone using the bug in real match and it works and actually win.

I would love to here a detailed explanation on how that error is working, it looks super interesting from a coding point of view.

$85 sounds like pocket change to me considering I've spent far too much money on TF2

From a coding perspective, it would be really hard to "accidentally" do. Like you say at the end of the video, "why was it only the enemies"? It's so unlikely that they accidentally make a feature raise the z-level of rendering of enemies ONLY, and only slightly to the point where it would not be comp-breaking while in the game, because we all know that this was at most used to win a few dozen rounds across the entire game, since it was only useable in certain situations. TLDR: My theory is that it was on purpose due to the crazy low probability of it happening accidentally, as well as the low severity of the exploit.
