So good to see more Avantasia coming down the rabbit hole. They have so much power, this band is just amazing. Having Floor on their latest album brought them a new audience for sure, though I must say that this is just an entrance to their universe. There is so much to ecplore. Tobias Sammet's Avantasia is amazing.

Jorn !!! what a vocalist !!!

The guitar melodies give a very good imaging of that scarecrow, absolute masterpiece it is.

The guitarist on the left is Sascha Paeth who certainly should not be forgotten with his connection to Avantasia. He used to be a producer for Epica and After Forever many years ago.

I had the pleasure of being amongst the crowd for this one and knew nothing about them at the time. I left a fully fledged Avantasia fan. Really was an amazing show and that’s without even knowing the songs!

Avantasia 😍 please please please do more! It's a big rabbit hole for sure! The second singer here is Jorn Lande, you can hear him with legendary Hansi Kürsch in "Raven Child", too. On his epic latest album you can hear Floor on two songs. There's also a song with Marko Hietala called "The master of the pendulum" which is one of my all time favourites! You could do "Farewell" from the same concert at Wacken, with the female singer you saw in this Video!

Amanda Somerville sings parts in this song that were sung by Sharon den Adel on the album. Or "Lost in Space HD".

Great reaction! You should listen to "Let the storm dscend apon you" by them. There is no video but they do have an official soubtrack for it on KZread. It is another long song with lots of different elements and singers. It's my favourite track of theirs!

This is an amazing song that I have loved for almost 20 years (15? can't remember when it was released 😀) If you want to watch more Avantasia, I'd recommend Raven Child, Devil in the Belfry, Toymaster (with Alice Cooper). Oops, just realized you did Raven child too. Gonna watch that next. I hope you liked it 🙂 Tobias Sammet and friends are amazing at finding great singers to fill out the line. Look especially to the blonde singer in the backup line, Amanda Somerville. She is brilliant!

The second singer, Jorn Lande, is by far my favorite singer in heavy emtal, you can have Bruce dickinson, Dio, Micheal Kiske, but Jorn takes the cake for me all the time. He is also known for being the original singer for the band Masterplan, and his solo career is also very unique. I recommend songs like "blacksong", "Living with Wolves" "Life on Death Road", "Rock and Roll Angel", and many others. you can't go wrong with Jorn Lande

He's usually got some of the top singers/ musicians from other bands in his Avantasia proyect

I love Avantasia, one of my favorites bands

So good to see you enjoying Avantasia! This project is just full of metal legends. Some of them may not be as worldwide famous, but when you look at their repertoire... Jorn Lande is the other male vocalist, the blonde woman is Amanda Sommerville, also an excellent singer. The guitarists are Oliver Hartmann (the bald one) and Sascha Paeth (who is also one of the most famous metal producers in Europe, has worked w Kamelot and Epica and many many others)... My next recs would be The raven child (vocalists on that are Tobi, Jorn and Hansi Kürsch) and The seven angels (with a bit more vocalists). A regular Avantasia vocalist is also the great Michael Kiske of Helloween, as was also the late Andre Matos of Angra, among many many others.
