Seško and Gyökeres have had really good seasons, but just one season each. We bought Nunez based on the one season he exceeded his xG but the pressure has been too much for him and he lacks composure and decisiveness. If Arsenal want Sesko, we'll take Openda who looks like a sturdier Jota to me and we (Liverpool) should look into him. Fantastic work by Alice. I come here for all transfer move discussion and because of the lack of drama and cheap puns. I wonder if in addition to FBRef, you use WhoScored, and DataMB. Thanks!

I am biased towards gyokeres too, but in sesko's defence I haven't studied sesko's game as much as I have gyokeres, but I have absolute faith in arteta and the choices he makes

Gyokeres is a big risk. He never did anything in England in spite of him spending 3-4 years in the PL. We have seen one season wonders like Pepe who ended being a waste of time, unless Gyokeres can do it for 2,3 seasons, I am not jumping into the hype. At least Sesko has done it in Austria and Germany. He is also 4 years younger than Gyokeres and actually has the physical attributes needed at 6.5 taller than Kai who is 6.4...

They’re going for the kill next year. Seskos another absolute monster to add up front, no one’s going to need to jump at corners soon 😂

I think we should sign a midfielder/winger first before a striker since havertz is doing so well there right now. Would take Sesko though, seems like hes got good potential to be an elite striker in a couple years

When you take into consideration how Havertz plays, there's a high possibility of playing them both together. This gives Arsenal a more clear-cut plan B, compared to the rag-tag, hashed together one that Arteta had to make do with occasionally this season which cost the team vital points.

The one and only female I take any notice of. Why? Because she knows what's she's talking about.

Coming from an Arsenal fan i think Sesko not the answer. I've seen enough of him i don't think he'll make the cut. I might be proved wrong but 40-50 mill its kinda crazy yes its inflated market but. If does well its good but if it goes the other way than oh boy!!!

Eh maybe, maybe not. Some of our signings were pretty signposted well in advance like Jesus & Rice. Makes a bit more sense than shelling out £100m or more for Isak or Gyokeres.
